    We checked in late and the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast room staffs were very kind. However, because it was hot summer that we had to open windows for the night. We had to use ear plugs to reduce the noise from outside. Also, our bathroom had mold around bathtub area. The location was great.

    Pros: the location is great! Walkable to Cons: - When we arrived at the hotel shortly after 8pm, there was no one manning the reception. And there was a line of guests already waiting to check-in. I think we waited 20mins for the receptionist to show up. I cannot imagine how long have the guests before us waited. This is unacceptable that the reception is unmanned. - The room has a kind of bad smell when we entered. We opened up the windows and had the fan run for a few hours to air the room. - Photos of the room and reality is different. I supposed the photos of rooms in the new wing were shown. We had the room in the old section. Others: - Breakfast was simple: cereals, cold cuts, breads and roll. Hot food were scrambled egg, baked beans, rice.

    hit the heatwave during our stay, the fan provided can barely helped. the blind was broken, staff gave me two bed linen to cover the window.

    Room are so run down that it looks like it came from ancient times. No air con in hot and stuffy condition in Zurich during summer. Provided a lousy and dusty fan which is not helpful. There is the other side of the hotel which looks like it is newer. So book at your own risk.
