We felt perfectly

We have just returned from a meaningful stay at your hotel. The room had wonderful view, comfortable bed, cleanliness and quietness. The breakfast was healthy, and my car was protected in the garage. The Receptionist Panagiotis was so helpful to us, and made our day at our checkout. He did his best for our convenience, and spoke many great words for our honey moon. The best personal experience so far, and best service.

Honestly a super solid stay. The room was spotless, bed was very comfy, and everything felt new and well-kept. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Location worked great for us — quick to get into the city and straightforward to move around. Would stay again without thinking twice.

Prices in Zurich are always a bit spicy, and the room felt a little on the compact side for a longer stay — but totally fine for a city hotel.

Comfortable, clean and great location in Technopark

The rooms were large, the beds super comfy. The cleanliness was fantastic

The sauna was disappointing as I needed to repeatedly ask them to turn on the lights and the steam room wasn’t working. We were not advised if a city tax until it was time to check out. This should have been done at check in. We were also asked to place a holding deposit of CHF300.00 which shocked us. The guy saw the look on our faces and reduced it to CHF100.00. We will get this back but this is the first time ever being asked to do this on our credit card. We requested an additional bottle of water for our room and we’re told that we would need to pay for it. This was after we had heard the offer being made to someone else that guests could request more water at any time at no cost. He offered the water complimentary “on this occasion only” . We made mention of it at check out and were told that we should never have been asked to pay at all. Other than those issues, the staff were extremely helpful.

Remarkable!

The location, the parking garage, the room, the gym, the sauna, the breakfast, and last but not least the Service*. *I arrived after a long driving, with the stress of my upcoming business meeting, plus with a reservation for wrong dates.. Yet the staff Panagiotis not only accommodated the amending, but also focused on my preparation for my meeting - with guidance on how to reach it, as well as on how to benefit from the hotel in order to shine at it.

Over all I would consider booking there again.

Our room came with access to the Sky Lounge which was very nice. The beer and wine were good. However, my favorite was the 15:00 - 17:00 cake hour. Really enjoyed that after the drive on a rainy day.

There is not WC on the main level. You have to go downstairs to search for it. Also, in our room there was only one par of slippers. In toilet room the sink had no hand soap. There was hand soap in the main bathroom but not in the toilet room.

Zero sleep for 4 nights

The aircon was a joke, the room was hot and humid. First day we complained about the aircon, a lady came in with fan and pressed some buttons and left without saying a word. Then apparently no technician was available, the following morning the technician said yes they found the fault. The aircon was blowing 25 c and the room was even hotter. He apparently fixed but all there fixes lasted for couple of hours max. They obviously can control the airflow and temp so they keep moving it to whichever room complains next. We could not sleep for the full 4 nights we stayed there. No compensation or explanation provided except to say when the engineer checked the vent is blowing 19.5 c. But the room was close to 24/25. They said sorry this is the best we can do. They even tried to blame it on clothes we had hanging, but these were just our clothes for the next day, not wet clothes. I would not stay there again, nor would I recommend to any family and friends. There are many nice hotels in Zurich

bad supervisor in reception his name is JALIOW !

‏I booked through Booking.com and paid online. When I arrived at the hotel renaissance in zurich I was met by the reception manager, his name is ( JALIOW ). He was very provocative, his voice was loud and his manner was harsh. He asked me to pay 200 Swiss francs on account by visa card, even though my entire stay was only for two nights. I told him that I paid for the stay through Booking.com and they did not tell me about any other payments. Then he assumed that I do not have a visa card. Is it a crime that I do not have a visa card? I asked him to pay in cash! But he refused and said in a loud voice, “I will not let you stay in the hotel unless you pay the 200 francs deposit!” Should I blame Booking.com for not informing me of this decision? or I blame the hotel management for giving the position of reception manager to someone who has no experience in dealing with guests in five-star hotels! We choose five-star hotels so that we do not see rude, harsh treatment or loud voices towards anyone! My impression of this hotel was very bad because of this manager at the reception, and I hope that they will appoint a manager who has experience in dealing with people humanely.

The room size was good.

Small attention to detail. We were a family of 5 but the room was only set up for 2. Breakfast was expensive but poor. We had to ask for extra towels, linen, pillows. Remote for tv didn’t work. WiFi came and went. Just small things but that are expected in a certain level of hotel.

All in all the stay was great. Why does there have to be such a steep price for a 12h stay?

The staff was great, even the ladies from housekeeping (with a giggle). We could not pick the view from the room, but sometimes even the backside sights can be interesting.

Other guests from a big country, they were really rude to the staff, (jet lag)?. The staff tried to look away and apologized the whole time. The shower was nice but there was a (pressure) problem. with the water supply.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, featuring a stunning view that made my stay even more enjoyable. The large bath was perfect for relaxing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – I had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was also impressive, with a wide range of choices and everything was of excellent quality. From fresh fruits to hot dishes, there was something for everyone. Overall, a very pleasant experience – I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel bar was very disappointing. Despite there being three staff members behind the bar and only four other guests present, we were completely ignored. We waited for over 30 minutes without being acknowledged or served. The lack of attention and basic customer service was unacceptable, especially considering how quiet the bar was at the time. Eventually, we decided to leave without ordering anything, and we certainly will not be returning to that bar in the future. This experience left a negative impression and did not reflect the standard we expected from the hotel

I was charged an additional 100 CHF per night on top of the amount I had already paid when I booked the room. Usually you give a credit card as a guarantee but not an actual additional payment. I was told this charge would be refunded upon check-out, but that never happened. I had to spend time following up with them just to get the amount returned.

Check in was easy. The front desk staff were very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and quite comfortable. The hotel is in the techno district but only a pleasant 10 minute ride on the tram into bustling city area.
