Good experience

Great Hotel to look at, in a great location seriously let down by some bad errors of service.

Our room was spacious & clean, although as a Viking group were staying at the same time our room was not serviced on the 2nd day. When I went to reception to ask why I was told by the receptionist that I would need to request the cleaning of my room every day. That being said when booking in to stay I was asked if I would like 750 bonus points & then only get the serviced every 3rd day. I declined the offer & said I would like to room to be serviced every day. The hotel is very close to the Tram line & that made it easy to get into the city.

As previously stated, I think maybe the staff should be more aware of people who are with the Viking group & those that are not. Breakfast was extremely hectic & although the staff were doing their best with the amount of people we felt as though we were being treated like a herd of cows a herd that we were not part of. In out no pleasantries. We also had access to the Club Lounge. I am sorry but this is what let the Sheraton down majorly. The food on the first & last night of our stay was edible. Not fantastic but okay. On the remaining 3 nights it was terrible. For a large hotel chain with a Chef I just couldn't imagine someone could cook that food & think that it tasted nice. We had a tour on our 4th day & when we returned at 7pm there was not much left & what was left was cold. On our last night the 9th December it was my birthday. We went to the Club Lounge & when we got there, there was 1 & 1/2 bottles of champagne in the ice bucket. We had a couple of glasses each & when we asked the waiter to open another bottle he said that there was no champagne left in the hotel. I told him it was my birthday & he did say he was sorry but they had run out. Also on that night & a few previous there were no champagne flutes. One night I asked for 2 empty glasses & was told they only had 2 & I would not be getting anymore that night. The cakes on most night were what was left over from breakfast. I am sorry I paid more for the Club Access Lounge & was hugely disappointed.

It was overall a nice stay at the end of a long vacation.

It was clean and comfortable and conveniently located near a tram station and grocery store.

The elevators were undersized and no washcloths were available. I asked for some and was told they don’t have them. What’s up with that???

Very relaxing.

The room was amazing, the train pass by next to hotel but you hardly hear anything, very cozy room, very nice bath. The hotel staff was so welcoming. It was the birthday of my partner and i had bring a cake with a candle, unfortunatey my ligter was not working soi i went down to ask if they could help, the reception gave me matches straight away. So helpful !

I thought the halls and the elevator had a weird smell, but that woukd be the only negative things i haave to say.

Staff friendly and helpful. Camilla was knowledgeable and assisted with my last minute train journey. Warm and friendly staff. Clean appearance. Near trams and train.

Location is not so good. Limited sights to see around area. Beddings were not fresh smelling. Not many facilities. Very molten breakfast buffet options.

Slightly bland corporate hotel, great breakfast, accomodating staff

Very comfortable large beds and nice sheets.

Room feels a bit cold with no carpet and lots of unused space between bed and tv. The hotel is right next to an aboveground train line and, while the windows are sound insulated, you can still hear the trains coming by.
