The property was fantastic, great size for that number of people, plenty of spaces to sit together and kitchen well fitted out for a big group. So much space for food with two big fridge/freezers, then more drinks fridges behind the bar. The kitchen was also well equipped with fairy liquid, tea towels, dishwasher tabs etc, all of which I’d bought as places don’t usually supply so this was great. Be nice to know this before hand so you don’t have to bring with you. Bedrooms all felt very spacious, nice to have all en suites and they were nicely decorated. Loved the bar area with the pool table and darts, and the hot tub and sauna were also great. Location was brilliant, easy walk in to Ulverston which is a quaint little town with plenty of bars/restaurants. We ate in The Mill at Ulverston and took over their restaurant, food was brill and catered to a big group really well!
I had read on previous reviews about the size of pots and pans and numbers of baking trays. The baking trays were also peeling so definetly think they could do with more baking equipment. We bought our own bits to top it up but didn’t know it was an induction hob so our soup pans didn’t work! Only other thing is there’s no recycling, I asked the owner who confirmed their wasn’t which seems a waste with that amount of people and the number of glass bottles etc all could have been recycled.
