We stayed in one of the apartments in the main building which was very nice. Views were lovely and it was modern and clean.
We ate in the restaurant twice but probably wouldn’t bother if we returned. The menu seemed to be overly complicated and each time the food just wasn’t great.

Our room was just as described & had a lovely view out over the farm land, pool, sauna & steam room were lovely to relax at the end of a day exploring the lakes, Whitbarrow was only a 20min drive into Keswick

Fire alarm on first night which took over 40 minutes to be addressed by staff and the 24 hour emergency number was unhelpful in the situation
Balcony wood bannister was rotten so insecure
Mattress was sunken on one side and bed frame was wobbly
