Landal Ullswater Heights

Fantastic location, the spa facilities in our lodge (hot tub, sauna, ice bath) were all fantastic additions. Bottle of red wine for arriving guests was a nice touch also. We came on our mini-moon and the receptionist very kindly gave us a bottle of prosecco to congratulate us. Restaurant quite expensive for drinks but food and drink quality fantastic. It was a 6 hour drive for us to get here but we would definitely stay again.

There seems to be quite a lot of mold in the bathrooms, ours wasn’t awful but from reading other reviews it seems a common complaint. With the amount you have to pay per night to stay here it would be nice to see that addressed. Couple of minor issues; but provide more bin bags! Freezer also needs defrosting

We stayed in a lovely pet-friendly lodge with hot tub. Excellent facilities and grear staff . Will definitely return.

Everything

Nice holiday park. Dog agility area and wash station. Small shop, friendly staff, clean site.

Lodge showed signs of wear. Stains on sofa, scuffs on the walls and paint chipped off, dishwasher broken inside (but still working), bunk bed walls look dirty but just need repainting. Lodges just need some TLC and walls repainting. Also £15 per dog per night so adds up to quite a lot, but nothing included for dogs not even a dog bowl/ a few treats etc. feels quite a lot of money, and it doesn’t seem this money is put back in the lodge to keep it to a good standard visually inside.

View of the lake and onsite facilities.

Pod was far too small for 4 people, nowhere to cook and dry dishes, which made the experience stressful. Nowhere to store clothing, me and family were living out of suitcases in the living area. Dishes were dirty and the hot tub area. Not worth 713 for a 3 night stay. Friend were staying in a 3 bedroom lodge and much better value for money. Look closely at the photos before booking, as booking.com does not call it a pod.
