Absolutely perfect! Will be back.

The beds are so comfortable, I suffer with arthritis in my spine and hip, so I dread if the beds are not comfy, but I'm not exaggerating, the comfiest mattress ever! I even pulled the sheet back to find what make it was. Absolutely fantastic views of the lake and mountains to the front, and hills and sheep and horses to the back of the property, beautiful 😍

If I had to find a negative it would be, the toaster! I burnt so many slices, i couldn't get the right setting, Definitely need better ones.

High-quality houses with plenty of space and great views.

Very clean and well equipped cottages. All rooms with en-suite and exceptionally comfortable beds. Great views when the rain stopped. Ideal for a two family group as we hired two houses.

I was really struggling to find anything we didn't like. If pushed, 5pm check-in is a little late, but we could live with it.

Lovely Location & Great Facilities

The location is fantastic, and the views are beautiful. The house has everything you need and is finished to a very high standard. Great play park for kids. The on-site facilities are great.

The balcony hadn't been cleaned and had quite a few finger/toe nails on it, which we had to sweep away ourselves. The fact you can't check in until 5pm and then have to be out by 10am isn't great, especially given the price you pay to stay there.

Location is excellent, but I knew that going in. I've been visiting this property on and off for forty years.

Kitchen was lightly stocked in terms of the basics. Could have used a few extra pans an utensils. Items such as cooking oil spray, salt, and pepper would have gone a long way.

It is absolutely fantastic. Woodside Houses are beautiful, incredibly well presented, super clean and in a location that would hard to beat anywhere else. Stunning.

Only that the Restaurant didn't open until the day we left as it was off-season at the end of March and the Horse Riding and a couple of other activities weren't available either but that was a tiny issue on an otherwise fantastic stay.

A perfect haven for hikers and their dogs.

As we arrived in the dark we initially struggled to find the cottage but once we did what a gem. For me the perfect place. We could walk straight out of the door onto the moors. It’s the far eastern side of the north lakes but a 25 minute drive and you are in the heart of them, less to blencathra and surrounding mountains. Ideal for my family and me as we love hiking and bagging ourselves some wainwrights. It’s slightly off the beaten Lake District path away from the thong of tourists but a 15 minute drive and you’re in Penrith for shopping or the M6.

lovely place, has everything you need and more, really spacious, clean and tidy. we spend a week in January and it was fantastic as we have some snowy days as well:) you need to be careful as all apartments are built on the hill which gives you nice views but its very slippery during snowy days, my partner hurt his arm due to very slippery porch. you have your own place on the car park and staff was very nice. there were no many people due to time of the year so holiday park was very quiet.

A beautiful family weekend!

The houses were absolutely immaculate, as though nobody had ever visited them. They were comfy, warm and relaxing. They were really well equipped with plenty of space.

We stayed during December and the housed are at the top of a really steep hill, which became iced over and on one night the hill was so iced over we couldn't get back up to the house in a car and had to make our way up on foot which was eventful!

Lovely family holiday :)

Beautiful apartment with amazing views. Great size rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The apartment was located in a holiday park complex, which had everything you need in one place. They have a mini market which made it convenient for little bits you may need. Restaurant and bar onsite, which have lovely food.

The only thing I would say, is the kitchen utensils need upgrading. They were cheap and flimsy, which made cooking a bit difficult.

We liked the accommodation.

We didn't like the fact that ALL facilities on site were closed and we WERE NOT made aware of this. Didn't like the staff response when we asked about facilities at reception. Didn't like the response when emailed directly, awful customer services!

Excellent would certainly return

Excellent location and views from the front of the lake. Houses are also of an excellent standard with everything you could need and very comfortable. Plenty of dog walking areas and just a short walk from Pooley Bridge and the ferry to other areas should you want to venture further afield
