Location: The apartment is close to shopping centres and most of the drops. Also not far away from Liverpool Central Station.
There is no reception. Security deposit had to be paid before access is granted using a code. Strange smell in the apartment. No WiFi the evening of our arrival. We were kept waiting till after 8pm and nothing was done. There was WiFi access the following morning.

Property was close to all places in the city centre we needed. Facilities available were all we needed
There was a very foul smell around the whole apartment, and in the reception area, of eggs/sewers. The room was also incredibly warm throughout the whole 2 night stay with no air conditioning or functioning windows , making guests feel they were unable to spend time in the communal area due to the sheer heat. Decor was outdated and we did not find the room particularly clean in places, and the showers did not drain properly

Location and overall cleanliness
While the property is clean and well-located, it has several maintenance flaws. The living room heater was broken, room windows wouldn't close, and we had issues with plumbing, smells and even found 2 snails in the toilet (on a 4th floor flat). Note that there are steep stairs even after the lift (Apartment 9). I raised these concerns with the host privately hoping these would be resolved for the next guests but never received a reply. Great potential, but needs attention.
