This place is like Faulty Towers and not in a good way. Couldn’t wait to leave. People battering one another upstairs the other night, lift didn’t work the other day, my actual door handle falling off, Just got the washing machine to work after days, unsafe kitchen equipment ie. The bloomin rusty wobbly dish holder at the sink, which then couldn’t hold any amount of dishes - which lead to dishes tipping off the sink and crashing all over the floor, front door was totally unlocked Christmas morning when I took the doggies out around 7am - Proper security risk. I had to take a video to show them! Pretty filthy all round. Granted it’s Christmas but asked very nicely for all that was faulty, filthy not working, a hazard, to be sorted and nicely asking for help to reprogram the TV, even after offering to buy a replacement remote because it was actually my fault as to why it was broken. Don’t get me started on the Terrace!!! My good god!!! Awful. What a site. Glass dining room table legs actually hanging off. Cigarette burns on the sofa, previous doggie owners hair all over the sofa bed, sofa bed not cleaned, stained mattresses, duvets and pillows. Granted maintenance came straight away to glue the kitchen table, but still totally unsafe to sit at. Just because most of us have doggies, doesn’t mean we live like pigs! Only good thing was the shower that was powerful and hot, Despite the mold, limescale on the shower heads, and rust and cracks on the shower cubicle floor. Very, very, very sad considering the location, and probably what it was in its heyday. Time for a proper refurbishment and renovation to meet the standards and expectations of Guests and their doggies in the 21st Century. Especially for the price - It’s a joke. The staff I spoke to regarding these issues were kind, courteous and did all they could to help. But we all know this boils down to management. Not staff. I have videoed everything! I had to. Because I couldn’t quite believe it myself.

The location is fantastic. Very central and close to all the amenities you could need. The shower was very good. Layout of the apartment was also nice.

Needs some decorating, looking very tired, with scuffs and chips in the wall paintwork and worktops in the kitchen area. Bed wasn't all that comfortable. The doors in the corridors were very loud and slamming through the night when people coming and going and not closing them carefully. The sofa bed in the lounge had not been put away properly so made the sofa extremely uncomfortable to sit on.

Has vertical blinds but lets lots of light through large windows and front of property has lots of street lights, could do with some curtains

The apartment itself was great, had everything I needed (apart from a deadbolt) and its in a good location in the quiet end of town!

My stay was unfortunately overshadowed by a security breach!!! The apartments previous guest somehow managed to keep their key fob and let themselves in… while I was naked!!! Luckily I had already placed a chair against the front door as I always do, which prevented him from walking straight in leaving me in an extremely vulnerable position. I contacted the owners & they said they would block all other fobs but without a deadlock on the door I had a very restless and anxious 2 nights. I had to carry all of my belongings around with me the next day as I had a lack of trust in the security of the apartment. I know these things are probably very rare but I would not stay here again which is a real shame because the place could’ve been a great place to stay. If this had happened to a young girl she would’ve been given a full refund, I don’t see why it should be different for me! I was given £8!!! So looks like my live nude shows aren’t even worth a tenner!!!

The apartment was just knackered. The mattresses and bed covers were stained. When we opened the sofa bed it had crumbs on it. The blinds had slats missing which wasn’t very private. The stairs to get into the apartment needed a good hoover. Needs a good makeover.

it’s a 3 floor walk up! when we complained about the elevator being out of order, promises of being fixed immediately never happened! THEY LIED!!

Best location possible. Amazing location couldn’t be any better. Apartment itself is well done. Very good value for location and what it is. Helpful company added additional nights with no issues.

Lift is broken down but wasn’t told this at all pre arrival which sucked being on the third floor. Didn’t quite have that in mind. Also the light switches in the room were faulty just a few things really in the appartment in terms of maintenance but it’s to be expected in such a high volume appartment. I did run into somone who appeared to be a resident start having a go at me telling me I wasn’t allowed down the stairs to outdoor area even though it’s specifically included in the price. He was stood there trying to film me and telling me I would be charged and my deposit taken. He seemed under the influence of something and I ignored him yet still got my deposit back so was clearly acting really weird himself. . Other than the lift and the unfortunate encounter I would stay again. Thank you

It was on the third floor with the lift broken more than 50% of the time.

At the first sight the apartment did not look untidy but there was a very bad smell, towels were dirty, lots of rubbish and weird items swept under the bed, toilet flush barely worked at all, fire alarm went on and on and the personnel took notice of the maintenance issues at the beginning but nothing happened and they stopped answering. I want to reiterate that the bedroom smell was incredibly foul if not putrid. And the amazing part is that maintenance never came to check it out and I had to clean under the bed myself. Unfortunately, the smell remained.

The location near the bars, restaurants, and docks was ideal. The two-bedroom apartment was perfect for two people and conveniently located right by the main shopping streets. Check-in was smooth, and communication was excellent. The apartment was modern and had pleasant facilities.

The shared outdoor space was dirty, unkempt, and filled with litter. The apartment itself was clean; however, the bathroom required significantly more attention to detail to eliminate limescale and some mould. The windows were extremely dirty, and the window ledge was scattered with cigarette butts and chewing gum. The dining room chairs and sofa were marked and had tears. While the duvet and pillows had stains, the bedding itself was clean.

Was sadly woken at four in the morning due to people being locked outside staff phones my phone and woke me to open the main door downstairs didn't appreciate it

Sofa was uncomfortable, noisy at night outside, which is expected really due to location.

Everything!! Curtains that were not half fallen off! A quiet room as I requested however I was up till 5am every morning because of the noise and the windows are old. The hosts were unhelpful I asked for a change of rooms despite asking prior to be in a quiet room and I was ignored

Firstly the staff at reception are rude , got giving the wrong room . Paid for 2 bedroom apartment got giving one bedroom , had the worst smell you could imagine honestly we arrived at 10pm at night and was back out by 9am and didn’t even stay the second night due to how horrible and disgusting the smell and mould all over the windows.

Poor overall experience shocking

We had a great time here for my sister’s hen party. The staff were very helpful leading up to our booking. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The VA team were great.

Apartment was changed to temple court when got there. floor was sticky tv didn’t work and outside window was like party street central… behind wall was 9 beds like a hostel… I had a walking stick and my friends daughter was on crutches. We didn’t get there till 1.30am so was not impressed with noise and no working tv to drown it out… Complained in morning and asked for refund. Was told to email craig… Has been over a month of no reply from anyone at happy days. Myself and my friend have constantly phoned and left messages and emailed and craig and no other managers have come back to us. Half the time the phone rings and rings or goes to voicemail.. This is unacceptable treatment and if nothing is done about this I will be forced to take matters further. I would like to add that I have never had a bad experience when booking through booking. com before so am not impressed.. Regards Michelle Turley

Location is everything, close to shopping, train stations, the dock area and restaurant, my only issue was that we like to cook and there was not even a spatula to flip eggs, enough bowls for 4 people. Management was excellent to work with and responded quickly

The washing machine was broken, and the sink was stuck; I was there for twelve days, and one offered to clean and help. I tried to contact the administrator plenty of times, but they completely ignored me. They allowed me to wash my clothes in another apartment, but during the processing time, someone stole my clothes… in the end, when I thought that there was no way to be worse, they did not send me the invoice to present in my company. It is an excellent location, a reasonable place and terrible services. Embarrassing!!!
