Mathew Street City Centre Apartments by Happy Days

Easy check in process, and after paying the deposit i received a door code and lock box code. The room was a good size and located right centre in the middle of Liverpool. For some that might be an issue...

What's the issue? Well its not really a problem with the apartment, which other reviews have kind of blamed. When I stayed in August it was the warmest weekend of the year, so all the windows were open to let in some air. These apartments are bang in the middle of party central Liverpool, with the Cabin Club just around the corner. So the music and noise goes on to 2-3am in the morning. Then you have bin wagons and people jet washing the pavements at 530am, then delivery trucks from then. So it was never a quiet stay. I didn't mind this as I find the noise relaxing, but for others this will be an issue, and would be an issue with any of the surrounding hotels too. Top tip is if you cant sleep though noise it might be better looking for a place more on the outskirts of the city.

Incredible location, right where we needed to be and brilliant size. Lovely bathroom. Lovely bottle of Prosecco on arrival to celebrate our engagement.

It is in between two pubs and at the end of one of the busiest streets in Liverpool , if you are a person that sleeps early it will be impossible to sleep . Noise all night
