The Joker Boat Liverpool

We stayed on the joker boat for a 2 night stay for my boys' 9th birthday. They enjoyed their stay, and they enjoyed the joker theme. Allen, the boat keeper, was very pleasant and met us at the boat and gave us the information we needed for our stay. Smart tv (45inch) plenty of towels and bedding. Washing machine/dryer, kettle, fridge/ small freezer department, plenty of cutlery and dishes. Microwave, electric oven/grill, electric heaters on walls for cold nights. The location was nice and well secured with locked gates throughout (key access needed) the on site restaurant looked lovely, especially at night with the lights and calming atmosphere 👌. There are large wheeled trolleys to load your belongings to make it easier to transfer to the boat (£1 refundable). The city centre and entertainment/bars 5 mins away in the car and 15-20 mins walking distance. The car park on the premises was fair £10 a day and charges you on leaving. (3 car parks on site) Dogs are welcome with an extra price.

We liked our stay, the only negatives we have would be the smell in the bathroom, it smelt like sewage even with the window opened. Also, when flushing the toilet, it makes a loud noise when draining, which isn't good of a nighttime when the kids are asleep next door... when you turn the taps on, on the sink, it takes time for the water to drain, so be careful not to leave the taps on too long to avoid flooding. There's no toaster or ironing board, but you have the grill to make toast, and you can use the dining table to iron, so no biggy. All in all, it was a good stay 😊

A quirky original stay in Liverpool

The location in the marina with the yatch club bar and restaurant very close by was wonderful. So easy to walk along the promenade to all the other docks with the bars, museums and ferry. Allan the boat keeper was very helpful, waiting on our arrival and assisted us with storing our luggage on last day

Location was great, lovely walk along mersey to town , nice and quiet. Quirky boat, everything you needed. very comfortable bed!!! easy getting in , very relaxed, thanks

main thing was the sofas!! they were not very comfortable. everything else good. not sure you can do anything about the water around the boat?? It really smelt on the second day but doesn't seem to flow at all??

The location was brilliant! The beds were quite comfortable. Well equipped kitchen apart from no ironing board and no dishwasher.

It was furnished very cheaply, the outside seating area was pictured with cushions and flowers, nothing! Metal seating area, filthy. The whole thing needs a lot of work to decorate it to any sort of standard for the money. The whole boat was rusted and tiered.

Great location, large boat, unique stay, but not very clean & difficult to communicate with owner

The location was great. 20 minute walk to the Royal Albert Dock. 20 minute walk to grocery stores. There is a pub at the Yacht club which was very useful and pleasant. The boat itself is very interesting and has a good layout for families. Really different and unique stay.

The boat was not very clean, and needs a major facelift, and repair of some areas. The couches were very uncomfortable - I wish they would update these for a better overall experience. Especially if you are staying more than a few days and not just to party.

Lads weekend on the Joker Boat

Absolutely fantastic location, near the docks. Staff where so easy in handling the process. Perfect for families and groups of friends. Il definitely be staying here again.

Location is ok at end of Coburg Wharf with 30min walk to Liverpool One shopping area. Breakfast at Yacht Club next door is good for £12

This accommodation was not clean. There were fresh stains and dirt throughout the property. Bedding was not fresh with stains on duvet covers and sheets. It appeared that beds were simply made up without changing following the previous visitors. We slept with our clothes on. Fresh brown splash stains on bathroom wall next to toilet is not acceptable. We simply avoided the bathroom and shower area. Either housekeeping is a major problem or this accommodation is poorly maintained.

wasn’t cleaned properly - glass shards by the bed table and the main room window was broken and kept opening. the bathroom didn’t have a window pane so despite using the heaters that did work - the boat was freezing. a few stains on the sheets but that’s not a biggie.

...Under renovations....no hot water no shower electrical kept tripping out no room in wardrobes customer service no refund bunk beds for 40/60 old woman not as in pics ....whats to like!!!

Superb

It was just wow at first sight and when the doors were open and we could see the interior of the boat it was just wonderful with 2 very excited children. The boat had just been refurbished therefore the current photos on the website don’t do it justice. The Batman features were wonderful. Most important of all in a very cold and extremely windy night with heavy showers the whole family slept well and were warm and very comfortable. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Definitely recommend this boat. We live in Liverpool and this stay was a treat for the children during half term and most definitely exceeded expectations. There are plenty of electrical sockets available to plug in a phone charger and plenty of places to eat as well as other leisure facilities. A wonderful staycation which everyone would like to do again.

As the boat had just refurbished there was no information leaflet available and the staff in the yacht club said they couldn’t help with anything apart from giving and collecting keys. The owner however could not have been more helpful having the answer to any question about the boat immediately to hand.A great guy thank you

Joker boat Liverpool

The Electric kept tripping out, so had to go onto the platform for the trip switch. The water tap on the platform had to much pressure and kept bursting, couldn't get any hot water for a shower. The boat was to noisy at nights swaying and the ropes grinding etc.

The location was great, the overall quirkyness of the boat was nice. Pillows comfy, bedding towels provided, cleaning product's etc.

It was different and quirky but still comfortable. I went with friends for her 60th and she really enjoyed it. We were very lucky with the weather but this wouldn't have mattered as we had space to chill out inside. I would definitely recommend to others
