Great location, staff amenities

Spacious modern and clean, close to the centre. We arrived at 12.30 and check in was 3pm, but we called them and they came over and stored our luggage, which I thought was excellent service 😀

It was in the perfect location and whenever you had to contact the help desk the staff were always lovely and friendly.

I’ve stayed with The Castle Collection before and chose it again because I’ve always enjoyed my previous visits. This time, however, the noise levels were a bit higher than expected. I completely understand it’s in the city centre, but it was quite lively until around 3 a.m., and then a lorry came by around 6:30 a.m. to collect empty glass bottles, which made it hard to get a full night’s sleep. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant as always.

Best possible location, no car needed to visit all of Liverpool's attractions. Nice clean apartment.

Location was superb, rooms were adequately sized, had all the amenities we needed. We really appreciated having the fridge, microwave, washer/dryer and everything we needed to eat in. The free Wi-Fi along with a discounted rate at the Car Park and a local restaurant were very nice added extras.

Coffee pot was only for a single cup could do with a larger one, no paper goods except for two toilet rolls could have done with a kitchen roll or some napkins/tissues. The noise from the water 'SaniFlow' system was a bit loud and unnerving at first. The carpets needed a good steam clean.

Catfished

The location of the property was excellent. Two amazing restaurants just across the road and a shop right next to the apartment. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was comfortable.

I was not happy a couple of things. The glasses, cutlery and dishes were not washed properly. I looked in the kitchen drawer and there was not even a tray to put the cutlery in like it is in the photos of here. The two chairs were damaged in the living room and looked horrible. There were only 2 toilet rolls and the quality of the toilet rolls was awful. It was as if someone went and got the cheapest toilet roll to save money. There was no kitchen roll or even a drying rack to put the dishes after washing them. When me and my partner turned on the heating in the apartment, there was a funny smell in the bathroom and hallway as if something had gone off. The tv was faulty and did not seem to be in tune with the remote. I don not think I would stay here again respectfully. Nothing looked how it does on the photos at all.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was lovely, in a prime location, everything on your doorstep. It was just what we needed. I wanted to take the bed home, I've not slept so well in ages.

If I was to be really picky... there were bits that could of been touched up, ... bits of paint, kickerboards in kitchen area. Maybe a deep clean...dusty cooker hob and light fittings but it wouldn't stop me from going back, we had a really lovely time.

A Gem

We had a lovely family stay here and managed to have a fantastic weekend in Liverpool (amazing place!). The apartment was very spacious, clean with slick styling that my family of four loved. Location relative to the sights, attractions and shopping is fantastic.

Pillows were a little flat (minor gripe) and the toilets were noisy and smelly because of the saniflow system (not pleasant when you're brushing your teeth) Also because we went on a weekend and the location is on Castle St which has a lot of bars it was noisy until 3am which made it difficult to sleep undisturbed. Could be a difficult to manage if you're tired or have a very young family.

The location of the property and the cleanliness and facilities.

Lift broken and no sign of anyone even attempting a repair during the 4 nights/5 days of our stay. Noise - constantly being disturbed throughout the night with bottles being emptied into bins up to around 01:30, road sweeping at around 03:00, brewery deliveries at around 05:00 - this happened every night, meaning we didn't get more than a couple of hours sleep before being woken by some sort of excessively loud noise.

Great city centre stay

Great stay in the centre of everything, small shop just next door. Staff very friendly and helpful, held our bags for us as we arrived early. Place was clean and had everything you would need for self catering. Good comfortable stay and would return.

A lot of additional information needed like photo id etc, this is obviously to cover damage costs so can see the reasons behind it! Great location but it does come with noise, we stayed sun-wed and could hear the bars emptying bottles each night and the bin men in the mornings, windows could be updated to help this. Although you are warned of the noise from using toilet and water it is still very loud! I would not let any of this put me off though and if visiting again I would stay here again.
