Absolutely fantastic location and a ridiculously awesome apartment. The only negatives were the single glazing and the 430am awaking of bottle collection then the 530am deliveries. I can see how it would be noisy from Thursday to Sunday stays but for the midweek it was fine. Clear window and just blinds in the bathroom could give the neighbours a fright or a thrill depending on their outlook and your gym routine... 😅

My daughter and I stayed here when visiting family in the Liverpool area. We found the area very convenient, with lots of walkable shops, restaurants and bars. It was a very comfortable place to stay, as others have said there is a night club underneath, so if you are a light sleeper Friday and Saturday night you can hear the music, it did not bother us and added to the local color. We used the parking garage with the discount code they supplied and it was a very convenient at a great price. Would definitely stay again, we enjoyed being in the city center

Nice spacious property in a great central location. Main downside is that it’s positioned directly above a late bar which is open until the early hours. Noise cancelling headphones are a must and definitely not for light sleepers. If you’re planning to be out late rather than sleep I would highly recommend due to its great location.

Really good place to stay location wise. Central to everything a very nice bar beside it that you can sit outside. There is no lift so take that into account if you have mobility problems. My main problem was that the whole apartment needed a good painting. All the skirting boards look dirty because they need painted. The walls have loads of dirty marks and the carpets either need cleaned or replaced. The place wasn’t dirty, it just needed painted. I also contacted them about somewhere to leave our bags until our room was ready. I was told to ring when we arrive and they would send housekeeping down to take our bags to our room. So I did that only to have a recorded message saying the offices were only open Monday to Friday. Overall it was fine but I didn’t leave feeling wowed or that I would rush back. My friend stayed in another property owned by the castle collection and it was really nice. Obviously recently renovated so maybe they will get round to these apartments.

PROs The facilities in the apartment are good. They provided washing up liquid, toilet paper, mini toiletries and clean towels. The apartment itself is very spacious and the beds are comfy. The location is great if you’re coming for a social visit. However if you are coming for business or with family it may not be suitable due to the music from the bar downstairs until 2am. CONs The upstairs bedroom and bathroom don’t have windows that open therefore it gets very hot. Also the carpet and sofa had obvious stains on them so I don’t think the apartment was cleaned to a suitable standard prior to our arrival. The shower pressure is good although the temperature is inconsistent and the shower was leaking in the corner on the outside. It’s clear from the pictures that the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are some kind of metal however it wasn’t clear that the actual steps had grooves in them and therefore not flat. This made it very painful going up and down and I would recommend bring hard soled slippers with you. Also, the windows that do open in the lower bedroom and living room kept sliding and don’t stay open and need a good clean. I’m also disappointed that even though we told the apartment company about a bereavement in the family, they weren’t willing to postpone the date of our stay even though I was even willing to pay extra.

Our stay was fabulous. The apartments are lovely, well presented and such a central location! And CLEAN! Really clean, which is a credit to the housekeeping staff. Every member of staff we met were friendly and welcoming. The staff in the bar downstairs were also lovely. It wasn't a problem for us but it might be worth warning that there's no lift - there were no ground level apartments in our block. The sending of ID and bank details was a bit unnerving for me - might be good to explain that documents can be redacted (as I sent mine) and that GDPR will be fully complied with. I have to say that our whole stay was lovely and we will definitely be back 👍

The location couldn't have been better. Between the shopping and the waterfront docks. We were in flat two right at the top so lots of stairs. Bedrooms are partitioned with partial height walls and no doors which was ok as we were a family but there would be no privacy if two couples were sharing. My daughter did find the bed very uncomfortable or though ours was ok. The noise levels in the area were ok and stopped by a certain time. The thing that kept me awake though was a constant ticking noise coming from what I assume was the water heater or electric meter through a locked door in our bedroom. The only other thing was the taps in the shower were not easy to turn and adjust so very hot showers so i would suggest they need looking at. These are all minor things but could do with looking at.

It was clean, spacious, well equiped and in a central location. Excellent value. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit damp and it had a metal spiral staircase up to the 2nd bedroom, which could be dangerous for children or older people. Also, there was no door on this bedroom as stairs went straight into the bedroom. Again not ideal for some situations. As a group of 4 adults this was fine for us. We would definitely return. This was Apartment 3, I guess they dont all have the same layout.

With a child with SEN it was too overwhelming finding a space etc. Next time I will confirm with the Hotel themselves about parking facilities. Everything about this booking was easy, the location was ideal for getting to the event at The Cavern, even with people having kit to carry. Nice and simple check in, even though it was late at night. The apartment was well set up and everything was clean. There was a small mark on the carpet that I let the reception email know about as I didn't want it to affect the security deposit requested 2days before checking in. Would be great for a longer stay to make use of washing machine, cooker etc. If there was anything to improve an already excellent apartment, it would be a bedside light so not having to turn off main light and being in the dark, opening windows would be great and clear WiFi password instructions in the info pack ( it says connect to castle st and the password but you actually need to look for the option that shows your apartment number) . There are about 6 on street disabled bays in the area and we had found one throughout the 3day stay and therefore free parking.

We stayed for 4 nights and got an amazing deal. The location is in the middle of everything, only ten minutes from either train station. The apartment was spacious with plenty of utilities - they also provided some extras like washing up liquid, etc which was nice. We had a small issue with our bedding but the cleaning staff quickly sorted it with no hassle. The only complaint is about the loud (and irritating) Saniflow system in place for the bathroom but it's outlined in the welcome book so at least we were aware to expect it.

Spacious property, central location just like pictures and clean. Smooth checkin and fast return of deposit. Parking was very easy to access and close. Good price for a mid week stay but very noisy at night for a family with kids. Expect noise in a city but our apartment was directly above the loudest bar on castle street with single glazing in bedroom playing loud music with a heavy baseline until 11.00 and 12.00 . Then woken at 0600 to 0700 with deliveries to the bars before street closes to traffic. Between these hours it was quieter. great apartment if you plan on being out late and waking up early but due to the noise we had a poor sleep so not for us - despite us expecting some noise due to location and taking earplugs it was much louder.

Very spacious apartment in the centre of Liverpool, we really appreciated the space with two young children! The location was fantastic, noisy yes but you can’t be in the heart of a busy city centre without it. We’d have had more annoying noises from the kids if we’d had to trek for miles to get back to our accommodation after doing the touristy stuff! Well equipped in the kitchen and it had been cleaned well prior to our arrival. The beds were comfortable and there was loads of storage space. There were quite a few nasty stains on the carpets which was a shame, but I guess you can’t replace a carpet every time a clumsy guest tips over a glass of wine! Relying on an email sent though only hours before check in with the entry codes was a bit stressful, but when you see where the apartment entrance is situated (directly on a very city busy street) you understand why security is paramount. A problem with the WiFi was rectified over the phone within minutes, much appreciated. The only disappointment was the unpleasant view from the room our children’s room. We were at the very top and looked out onto the roof area, and underneath their window was a delightful pile of empty laughing gas canisters and decomposing ex-pigeons! It wouldn’t take much effort to get this area cleaned up. Pros: Location, Space, Kitchen, comfy beds Cons: Hot and stuffy, lots of noise and stairs - no lift. No parking, Q park a walk away but discount card provided made it affordable

Check in was easy and the location was superb. Close to town and many nice restaurants. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.
