An excellent visit to Aintree

Our stay was first rate , the apartment exceeded our expectations. It was super comfortable, and very warm . The location was excellent with shops and pubs close . It was great to have private off road parking at the apartment Sarah, the host, was easy to contact and communications were excellent

Would stay again

Clean, spacious, very comfy beds. Lovely welcome package of hot drinks, milk and snacks as well as breakfast items. Great communication, clear check in instructions sent in advance.

The TV in the lounge did not work consistently which was a little frustrating for my little boy.

Flats 2 and 3 met our family requirements perfectly with good communal areas and pleasant bedrooms.

The flat was well furnished with a pleasant living room. Most rooms had been recently refurbished.

The bathroom was ok but should be next on the list for refurbishment.

Lounge area was adequate. Beds were okay.

Bathroom, especially the shower. There was a lot of mould in the shower and the hot water system was terrible. You either had a scorching hot or freezing cold shower, which alternated between the two. There was very little water pressure, not enough to get clean.

A fabulous stop over in Liverpool

Lovely apartment a short drive from central Liverpool. Clean, well finished and comfortable. The hosts were fantastic too.

We couldn’t get the TV to work but to be fair we didn’t bother messaging the hosts for help with this.

Comfy property in the Liverpool area

Good size, comfy beds

Wish they wouldn't use febreze on everything to make it smell clean . Shower was always a different temperature. Shower cubicle needed a smarten up. Step into shower weird and got slippery. Some towels smelt really foisty. Shortage of wine glasses . No property information pack.

Beds were comfortable nice having a TV in every room the little extra items she left us was a nice touch especially after a long drive. But in all honesty it's a nice place

I sat on the settee and noticed an unpleasant smell which was coming from the settee and the curtains. They smelt as thought they had never been washed.

Sarah was easy to contact when there was an issue with the hot water. The flat is in a good, quiet location with easy access to the city centre.

This apartment is ideally situated for a short stay and very comfortable.

The property is located in a quiet area, less than 5 minutes from a railway station and the train takes only 15 minutes to the centre of Liverpool - ideal for sight-seeing. It is beautifully appointed, and very comfortable.

An instruction sheet explaining how to start the boiler for hot water, and to operate the television would have been very helpful. There is no mirror in the second bedroom, which is awkward for guests.

Amazing stay

The apartment was spacious, spotless and well equipped. Sarah even provided a heater, as well as milk, tea and coffee and chocolates. I would definitely stay again. The location was ideal, close to the city centre and really easy to get a taxi.

Great location. Easy to get to Liverpool via train. Takes about 15 mins. Station 3 min walk from flat. Free parking. Great pubs & restaurants local.

High step into shower

Absolutely wonderful.

Location is as fantastic close to family, and train station. But most of all the flat was warm, and cosy. The lounge was comfortable too. The owner has left all sorts of helpful hinges like dishwashing liquid, milk on arrival, biscuits, chocolates, wine. We were thrilled. The beds were comfortable too. Thanks so much to the owner, it suited all our needs, and would definitely stay here again when visiting family. I must say too the place was immaculate, very clean with plenty of towels on offer too.

The only thing that would have made this property five star is the water pressure in the shower. Very difficult to take a normal shower to wash yourself.

cold, so cold took the best part of night and whole day for the rooms to warm enough to be just comfortable, a little heater in the lounge would have helped eliminate in the coldness of the lounge
