The apartment was in a quiet but great area for many bars, restaurants. The apartment had spacious rooms with tall ceilings. We were on a lower floor so unfortunately we didn’t have any views at all but that was just pot luck. Many car parks available nearby but if you use the code they give you it will reduce the fee quite a lot. Check in wasn’t very smooth for me as my ID email hadn’t been received apparently by admin. It wasnt until I chased it by phone call did we get the check in codes! Maybe a one off?

The apartment was well laid out and generally comfy but needed frosted glass in all the bottom panels of the windows (only in bedroom areas) as there was nothing but concrete and stairwell windows to see. Luckily there were very nice curtains and plenty of lighting options. The bed was comfy and clean The frying pan was difficult to clean and had been put away dirty - I assume by the previous occupants. There was a health & safety concern in the shower as the cover came off the plug hole when the water backed up during a shower to reveal a very sharp rusty spike which I just managed to avoid standing on. This occurred on the last day of our stay and so there was no chance for the situation to be rectified whilst we were there. We did contact the hotel group prior to submitting this feedback but did not receive a response.

Very well maintained apartment, very close to Mathew Street and the Cavern Quarter. It has everything you need for a short or long stay. Full kitchen, large sitting area with TV and 2 very generous sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Very quick to respond to questions and a very helpful team running things behind the scenes.

Great communication, excellent apartment. I cleaned the sink myself when I arrived, but no problem I do this at home. The apartment was spacious and a home from home with high ceilings and comfortable furniture. It was an excellent alternative to the boring chain hotels I normally stay in every week night. The Cooking facilities were very good with ample utensils etc. I really enjoyed my stay and will return without hesitation when working in Liverpool again. Thanks Lily for the excellent communication and support with easy to understand check-in instructions. The apartment is in a thriving area of Liverpool 1 adjacent to the Beatles District 3 minutes walk from the Cavern Club. My only gripe in 2025 is no Smart TV. Just Terrestrial Channels no Netflix etc. But, hey ho, I listened to music instead. Overall excellent.

Great location, apartment has 2 and plenty of kitchen cutlery. Could have been alot cleaner, the beds were clean and comfortable, however the living area and bathroom were dusty, particularly on the skirting boards and kitchen table. Also only left us half a toilet roll.

It would have been much better if the property offered a few more essentials to the customer, such as: bathroom soap, Kleenex, paper towels, kitchen sink plug, dish rack, coffee, instructions on how to use heaters...and the ultimate suggestion...change the water pump system (way too loud).

Loved the spacious accommodation, with a very relaxing atmosphere and had everything we needed, lots of natural light, near to all amenities. Located in a beautiful old building, very comfortable beds. The lift wasn't working, but we were informed of this well in advance, and it wasn't an issue for us at all. We will stay again.

Property is well located for centre of Liverpool, and is truly huge. Decor is rather tired and dated, but it wasn’t expensive for it's size. My disappointment stems from the fact that it doesn't look as well furnished as the photos, but what was provided was certainly suitable for our needs. My biggest gripe was only 1 roll of toilet paper and no hand soap or shower soap/gel. Had i have known, i would have brought something with me

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at Cook Street. It’s a great place to base yourself as it’s in the city centre so you can walk to most attractions. The apartments are very clean, spacious and ideal for a city centre stay. The discounted Q-Park Car Park is a 5 minute walk from the apartment and was less than £10 for 24 hours. We will be looking to book again on our next trip. Highly recommended.

The apartment was extremely spacious, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which were lovely. Bed was comfortable, better quality pillows could have improved sleep. Location - Fab Downside, the apartment was extremely warm/ hot there was no fan and due to the age and features of the buildings the windows were difficult to open… plus when the window was open there was a risk of a pigeon flying in. There is a pub in the basement and unfortunately some late/very early noise but for the reasonable price you cannot have it all. Also it would have been beneficial to have a discloth and or kitchen roll so sides/ table could be wiped down. Also no plug for sink so literally had to continually run water until crocks were washed.

Great place to stay for all acitivites in Liverpool. Everything was in walking distance including bars, restaurants and sight seeing attractions. A very short walk to the cavern quarter and approx 10mins to Albert dock. Apartment itself was clean and well equipt for a comfortable stay and i couldnt recommend it more! Would definitely stay here again when visiting Liverpool.

Stayed at The Castle Collection in Cook Street, Liverpool with my son for two nights in March. We had no hot water for the whole stay and also had water leaking in the shower through one of the lights over the shower from the upper floor. I contacted the number provided over the weekend but nobody answered. On Monday morning before checking out I rang again and got through to someone. I told them about the issues and I was told to email reservations, which I did. I received an apology and was told one nights stay would be refunded. A week later I still had not received the refund. I contacted The Castle Collection again to ask why it hadn’t been refunded. I was told that the refund was given as credit to Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they said there was no credit or refund provided from The Castle Collection. Expedia contacted The Castle Collection to ask for the refund but was told by the manager they would not provide the refund. So basically I was lied too. Would not recommend The Castle Collection to anybody thinking of staying there.

Parked using the discount code offered from the accommodation at Q Park Dake street. Was well lit and very safe behind the roller shutter door entry. Apartment no7 was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Could have done with bedside lamps as once you turn main light off it’s a walk in the complete darkness to the bed - bit of a hazard! Very quiet accommodation and very spacious. Will book again thank you.

Great location. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Lots of good restaurants within a minutes walk. The 2 bedroom suite was INCREDIBLE. (Can i live here... ) Very large with ample room to spread out. Lots of privacy for 2 people or 2 couples. Comfy king sized beds in large bedrooms. The bathrooms were lovely and well equipped with heated towel bars. Small kitchen with full sized fridge, stove and small washing machine. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

The flat itself was nice and centrally-located, but the parking was a disaster. We followed instructions to park in the Q Park parking structure, which we were told would cost £9 for each 24-hour period. The discount coupon left by Castle Collection did not work, so we when went to collect our car on the 3rd day (to go out on a day trip), we were charged £38.50 for less than 48-hours of parking. I contacted Castle Collection, but heard nothing back. I had already asked to be supplied more than one parking coupon, as we were had a day trip planned, but they never responded to that message either. When we left to go home another 2 days later, we were charged an additional £37.50 for parking. Both my father and I contacted Castle Collection again after the trip ended, but got no response. I also contacted Expedia, but with no result. The flat is large, clean and very comfortable, but it also lacked basic essentials, including hand soap in the bathroom, Kitchen roll and oven mitts - I nearly burned my hands taking food out of the oven! The washing machine is incredibly noisy and does not dry well, and the shower is very slippery; my 70-year-old father nearly fell several times. They also double-charged me, and I had to wait for the second charge to be taken off my card. Could have been a perfect stay if a few small details were seen to, or even if communication had been better!

This apartment was well located in a central position and you could not fault the cleanliness. The rooms were laid out as expected. What they didn’t tell us was there would be building work literally outside the lounge windows on weekdays whilst we were there. We had workmen looking right into the apartment so apart from the noise we felt on show and had to keep the curtains closed. The bed was huge looking at its width but I’m only 5’ 6” and my feet hung out of the end it was so short! The bed side twbkes needed lamps too. We were there for 5 days and were only left 2 toilet rolls and toiletries for one day. When it said toiletries would be provided we expected for the length of our stay. The cleaners next door felt it appropriate to continue to slam doors and I mean continue to slam them as we were getting up. We have never been to an apartment and not had a few tea bags and coffee sachets provided and we have stayed in several similar apartments recently. There was nothing extra provided to make things easier at all and even the jcloth for dishwashing was only one cut in half. Talk about stingy! We wouldn’t stay here again as when we want a holiday we do want a few little extras to make things easier eg tea and coffee, salt and pepper, toilet rolls and toiletries and a bed that we fit in! We also don’t want unexpected building works that we could have been advised about in advance of our visit.

The apartment is wonderful, very spacious and everything absolutely perfect with everything that you need for a short break. However be warned there is Avery noisy club directly underneath which goes on until 3 am the music and the crowd is very loud so loud it made the bad shake at certain points so if you have kids or are expecting any sleep before 3 am I would choose to stay somewhere else, however if you are intending to be out or up till this time I would say it was a really perfect place to stay.

We stayed in apartment 8 which is up a couple of flights of stairs - no lift so bare in mind if mobility issues. Large apartment that was clean and decoration was average but could be higher spec. Overall ok stay with no problems. Check in process fine but walls quite thin so could get noisy depending on other occupants.
