Layout, location and bed

Can’t open the window .

The property was clean and as expected. Lots of space which was perfect for someone using it as a base. I was able to cook food, bathroom was clean and bed was super comfy. I also used the washer/dryer which was really handy. Location is great

There is a really loud humming sound outside from air vents which is there constantly and it affected my sleep. You will also hear the pubs empty glass bottles into their bins which is a bit annoying. If you are someone sensitive to noise bring some ear buds. It is a shame because otherwise was a great place to stay

It was really spacious, clean and had a smart TV. Kitchen was large with most things I needed.

I was disappointed because I stayed during the heat wave and there was no fan in the property and the windows do not open in the living area and kitchen. I called the property and they said there is nothing they can do and I should check out if I’m not happy and they’d refund me. It was too late by that point to find anywhere else. I don’t understand how they didn’t make provisions, particularly given it’s the second big heat wave of the year. I don’t see how it can be acceptable to not have windows that open. It was also impossible to have a cold shower - it was still far too hot even when turned to the coldest setting. Temperature was unbearable and I honestly don’t think they should have been allowed to let it under those circumstances (no windows, no ventilation). Also just strange that there are no lamps near the bed and you have to walk all the way round to the living area to turn out the light. Also no power sockets by the bed.
