Loved it!

We stayed in the superior two bedroom apt and we loved it. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Double balcony was superb.

The communal areas are rough, no doubt about it. If you can get past that, then all is well.

We loved Liverpool and enjoyed our stay!

The location! The view! Spaciousness! Clean! Comfort!

Large full kitchen available and well stocked with dishes, etc. but was disappointed it lacked basics like salt, pepper, sugar, paper towels I would've expected. The apartment did provide 4 servings of coffee & tea.- but as a party of 3 staying 7 days - either bring some with or expect to go shopping sooner than later. We also noticed the apartment had been painted, but it was obvious the crew had been sloppy and spatters were noticable and some broken door locks too. Guessing that's why all the dirty footprints were on the carpet that led from the front door well out into the common hall area. In spite of it's spaciousness, it would be helpful to add some sort of coat hat rack and USB outlet/s. No serious complaints, just some improvement suggestions.

It wasn’t the property we asked for they said the emailed us an hour or so before our stay, I did not receive this email as I was out in town, It had a broken bed so me and my friend had to sleep together which we are not used to I rang them earlier on in the evening to tell them we had no bedding then I rang them to tell them about the broken bed they didn’t answer so I texted them I gave evidence of this, the property was not clean the bedroom doors wouldn’t close one bathroom door wouldn’t close as the carpets was too thick this was a fire hazard, we didn’t have a river view as requested they said they upgraded us to a apartment with a balcony this was a full and dirty balcony, they said I didn’t make all these complaints at the time but we did make the really necessary ones, I didn’t want to say too much in front of our friend who’s birthday it was for and she had been through a bad time lately

The property was close to the Center of town.

The carpets were stained and smelt awful, The chairs on our balcony were broken and the slabs on the balcony were loose. Also the worst nights sleep I’ve had mattress was super cheap and could feel and hear all the springs when you moved around. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody

Dissapointing

It was in the docks and that was pretty to look at but there’s nothing else positive about this place

Turned up to an absolutely shack of a room, didn’t even have cupboard doors, charged a small fortune and then they had a prepared script for the scenario. “Not all rooms are on the website” she said when I said it looks nothing like the picture. I was celebrating my engagement and I could’ve cried. Elevator was broken, lights where dim, the curtains didn’t fit, there was paint patches on the ceiling, big screws coming out the wall, horrible view, balcony couldn’t even open the door was broken. She did upgrade me, but it still wasn’t worth the price I paid, she told me to leave it how I found it because the don’t have a cleaner. That was obvious when we got into the second room and it stunk of cigarettes, there were random spare beds in each room, the iron was faulty, she did upgrade us so couldn’t complain again to be fair but I wouldn’t recommend this place, everything is either cheap, broken or old. The price is not worth it, they’re running a scam

Great location and nice property.

Location is PERFECT!!! Couldn’t have picked a better spot. Right on the water. Near the docks, museum, Liverpool One. Lots of nice places to see and to dine in. I was worried after reading some reviews but honestly the apartment was lovely! Loved the decor. Good value for money. Yes some of it could do with freshening up but you could say the same about most properties. We loved the little touches such as tea bags, sugar, washing machine etc.

The property location was excellent and the size of the property was good. However, the property needs a lot of TLC! I appreciate it wasn't the host's fault, but the entrance hall carpet was not good at all. First impressions do count and if the carpet was cleaned, it would have been a better first impression. The property was clean, but small things like the mirror in the living area was so smeary and needed a good clean.

Apartment was spacious and welcoming with a fantastic view of the docks from the balcony. Towels were folded for us on our beds upon arrival which gave a nice touch from the hosts.

I can only say one thing about this apartment and it was the large stain on the sofa in the living room, it was distinct enough to mention as it took up a large portion of the seat however myself nor other guests i stayed with were bothered by it.

Awful.Dirty, Shabby, in need of refurbishment.

The only positive was the communication from Alurapartments which was very efficient and they did their best to get us moved to a new apartment soon after making the complaint however this took an hour out of our trip and undue hassle and whilst the new apartment we were moved to at least had a clean sofa that we could sit on, it still wasn't great. Also, the location is good, being located on Princes dock and walkable to many places.

The apartment was dirty, and in a total state of disrepair! There were holes in the walls everywhere that had just been filled and not even painted, marks all over the doors and walls (an attempt had been made to cover these up - with different paint!) The overall standard of cleanliness was poor - hair in the plugholes, marks on the wall of the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned. The apartment was the total opposite to the polished photos on the website. We were sold on the fact that it had a balcony however this overlooked an NCP car park and was so dirty, we couldn't even sit there (plus there was only a dirty table and no chairs..)I can’t believe I was fooled by the marketing!! Both apartments (the one we moved from and to) were nothing like what was advertised!! I wish I'd read the other reviews on other sites before booking. If you're thinking of booking, don't bother! There are plenty of nice hotels in the area that we could have had for the money we paid. The only word I can use to describe both apartments is 'Grim'!

Location is good with lovely view and secure parking. Beds clean. But do consider that extra cost when booking.

The place was dirty, food from previous guests on the floor under the sofa, biscuits crisps and a vape. The plug on iron was unsafe, the wires were visible and a cracked socket which was dangerous to use the bedside lamp was flickering. So had to switch off and move. A lot of the furniture is tired with marks and ware snd tare, lots of scuffs on walls and dents from previous guests. When I reported the issue they said it was too late to sort, despite ringing immediately. Would not stay there again and would not recommend. Deposit of £100 needed on top of cost of stay.

A really enjoyable experience and would book again without a doubt!

The apartment was a good size, well equipped and in a fantastic location with great views. Almost a new cruise ship every day. There is a little supermarket just along the road which is also very handy.

I expected to pay on arrival, but was chased for payment ahead of time. Then I was a bit nervous as the key collection instructions don't get sent until just before check in. But once received it was all clear and straight forward. And for some reason I expected a sofa-bed, not two fold out camping style beds. However, one of our party had to cancel, so we made the sofa into a bed instead and didn't have to use them.

Dirty,smelly,scammed

Arrived to building materials blocking the main entrance,and very strong smell of cannabis. Only one lift working,and when I say working barely,it also stank of cannabis and was filthy. When we arrived on the 8th floor we were greeted to a plastic bin full of bin bags,which had leaked its foul smelling liquid all over the carpet! So once again the place stank. We got in to the room and at first glance looked clean enough,but when you sat on the couch its was full of hairs. And when you walked around the apartment in bare feet your feet were black ! So obviously not been cleaned in ages. When we got in to bed it was honestly like sleeping on a hay bale! The worst mattress I’ve ever tried to sleep on,and that was also covered in hairs. But the absolute biggest SCAM is they kept my deposit because we smoked on the balcony,to which there was an ashtray and NO ‘no smoking’ signs. When I challenged this they said the room smelt of smoke also,why would anyone smoke in the soon when there’s a covered balcony outside?? Just pure scammers. I wouldn’t stay here ever again
