Hope you like noise and nightclubs
It was in the city centre, located closely to restaurants and stores. Easy to get around and see the attractions in Liverpool.
I didn't realise when booking the apartment that it was located in the gay quarter of Liverpool. I have no problem with LGBTQ+ people and have several as friends. But the apartment was directly over the area where all the nightclubs are located. Both Friday and Saturday night was a nightmare, unable to get a decent night's sleep due to all the noise from music, people gathering in the street and constant police sirens. We were a party of 5 people 2 of which were over 70's. The windows that looked over Stanley Street weren't sound insulated enough to block out the racket. None of this is mentioned in your description of the property and it's location. Another annoying thing was how much the price had dropped for the property since we booked. We paid £507 this dropped to £370 a week after booking. We chose to use Host & Stay as we had booked an apartment the same time last year with you and it was so much better in every way and situated slightly further from the City centre but easily accessible to get there. Somewhat disappointed with the whole experience this time around.

The location was great, just steps way from everything. Beds were comfy.
The apartment was on the top floor which we didn't know. My husband uses crutches to walk and it was a struggle for him to get up and down. The apartment was freezing when we arrived. There is a small storage heater in the very large living room which hadn't been turned on. There was also a plug in heater which we had on constantly whilst we were in the room. When trying to shower in the morning, the water would run for 10 seconds then stop. The other bathroom had very little water pressure but I did manage to shower in it. Overall the apartment is a bit tired, but it is 3 bedrooms and for £200 a night would be a bargain for 6 people.
