Location to explore central Liverpool was fantastic! Having car parking included was a bonus!

Fairly basic facilities, sofa/sofa bed was broken and too uncomfortable to sit on, dishwasher was broken and smelled, bathroom drain was also very slow at emptying. Very weirdly positioned mirror tiles in the shower. Very stressful to find somewhere to unload our bags on the street prior to entering the property. The lift was tiny, two person only so getting all our bags (there were 4 of us travelling from overseas so lots of luggage) up to the third floor took some time. Needed to pick up parking pass and pay security deposit at a secondary location in central Liverpool (so again hard to find a spot to park near there) prior to driving to the property.

The location of was exceptional and was very clean.

Could do with more mirrors for getting ready. There was only one in the bathroom and one in a bedroom, the other bedroom didn’t have one. Also, perhaps a coat hook in the entrance hallway. Also, we couldn’t get the dishwasher to work. In the end washed up by had so no big deal.

The flat is very disappointing and nothing like the pictures advertised. Most of the chairs are damaged – the frames may be intact, but the fabric covering is ripped and worn. The sofa is almost impossible to sit on; you completely sink into it and it offers no support at all. The property looks very basic and does not match the photos online. Everything is painted the same, giving it a tired, cheaply finished feel. The TV does not work properly. The bedding is poor quality – the duvet cover is around three times bigger than the actual duvet, so it does not fit at all and looks awful. The duvet itself is very thin and small, completely unsuitable for winter. The pillows feel uneven and uncomfortable. The dishwasher smells badly when opened, suggesting it hasn’t been properly cleaned or maintained. On top of this, I had to chase the host for check-in details. When they were finally sent, the tone was patronising, focusing on warnings about extra charges if entering before 3pm rather than being welcoming or helpful. Overall, the flat feels neglected, uncomfortable, and misleading compared to the listing. This was not the standard advertised and not a pleasant stay. plus noise from downstairs bar

Access was easy, having a kitchen and dining table already set up available was a great option. The price was £100 cheaper than nearby. Liverpool city is beautiful with amazingly friendly people

Room details are NOT as advertised, sofa bed is a single not a double. The apartment looked great when we arrived but became clear it unfortunately wasn't. Communication from Happy days group was mega poor, especially when I raised issues of the apartment with them and they did nothing, even telling me that they didn't have a spare key So I would need to sit in the apartment until they had sent someone to resolve the issues. The apartment required some serious improvements. There was mould in the kitchen vent. The bathroom sink didn't drain away like it should, The floors were dirty, the beds were extremely worn out as well as the click clack sofa/ sofa-bed, the bedroom which was also stained with I don't want to know what! The bedroom lampshade was broken as well as the shower head holder. The pillows were like a "Wafer thin mint" and the only spare had to be used to fill the large gap on the "click clack" sofa bed The heating had no instructions so we had to suffer with no heating until the last day when we discovered how to turn it on ( Which is a button on the side of the radiators) Overall, I would not ever recommend any of their apartments and would suggest staying in another hotel brand nearby, I myself considered changing to the tune hotel downstairs from where I was staying or the easy hotel on the same road. I was extremely embarrassed to the other people I had booked for

Great apartments, ideal location.

Lovely clean spacious apartment, great base in ideal location. Has everything you would need during your stay (iron, hairdryer, washing machine) we would stay at these apartments again. Also the extras you offer for special occasions are great option.

Giving credit card details over the phone, would be better & put guests at ease if you could do that online. The staff memeber i spoke to had difficulty hearing me so had repeat myself muliple times & I was unsure if it was an automated recording or an actual person.

Should have key safe outside of apartment you’re staying in because anyone can walk in the wrong room like we did

Property was clean but the bed sofa in the lounge was broken on one side and you couldn’t sit and relax on that part of the couch as it would fall back bit of a nightmare when there’s 5of us trying to find seats to sit down

Loved the city, nice place to stay.

Great location, loads of toilet rolls and coffee, tea and milk, bonus having a dishwasher and washing machine. Had a great two nights here.

When we stripped the beds before we left bedroom two mattress had marks on them. Main bedroom pillows were yellow. You need to invest in new pillows and mattresses. Also noisy in the front bedroom, could do with secondary glazing. Were woken up around 6 on both mornings of bin men emptying recycling bins with glass bottles from the nearby pubs.

Parking isn’t free

The free parking included was a scam. They gave me two cards for the QPark garage that didn’t work. I was told to pay the garage and request reimbursement from Happy Days, but when I did I got the run around. I spent a good ten hours over many days going back and forth, only be ghosted in the end.

I like the easy steps to check in and all the staff involved are super friendly and really helpful. we got a door code for the outside door and found the apartment key inside.

we thought the apartment was very nice for a night's stay in the middle of town, we had all we need, the only one thing we thought could be better, we had a find out how the put the heater on (it was a little chilly), the bathroom heater didn't work or at least we didnt get it to work and the couch in the living room was a little on the old "flimsy" side, still good but probably ready to be replaced.

Excellent location Clean apartment - really good facilities shower was great and nice kitchen area also ! Very little noise from street below Staff were so friendly and helpful especially the General Manager who handled our booking - he was excellent and so kind ! Five of us stayed in the apartment

The location was good. The parking was secure and easy

The sofa bed in the lounge was dirty and uncomfortable. It was not fit for purpose as either a sofa or a sofa bed. Also there was not enough seating for the occupants. The apartment needed a place to hang coats and the blinds need replacing. The shower head was broken. We didn’t understand why the table was set for 6 people with all the crockery being laid out as that seemed very unhygienic. The apartment needed some decent lamps as the only lamp was damaged. A dish cloth is also required.

Good location, nice apartment but could be made so much better with a few adjustments and thought.

The cooker hob was chipped and broken sharp glass. The freezer department in fridge completely iced up unusable. Could do with a couple of small pans to go on the hob instead of the two big ones. Need better pillows rather than the two very thin ones per bed lucky I didn’t have to share.

The hallways lifts were really dirty and the bins by the front door really smelt and alarms were constantly going off for the fire system Should not advertise parking with it as the parking was not close at all having a disabled guest with us and baggage was awful having to go pick a pass up in the center first then find the parking ruiened our first day had tondo 3 trips to the car park to get luggage as parking was not available close to the building

Not clean - the bathroom had phlegm on the wall in the shower. Sofa had stains on it. Advertised as having a sofa bed - but it wasn’t and it was really uncomfortable. Tried phoning the number provided but no one answered

Good location

Being ripped off for parking. I was informed that if I paid for parking nearby the property would refund me the cost. This did not happen and despite numerous requests no refund was ever made. Booking.com promised to make good the money I had paid but they too renaged on their promise.

Second time we’ve stayed at 16 Queen Avenue. Great location in a quiet area.

The location was within 10 minutes easy walking distance to Matthew Street. The double room apartment we stayed in was lovely. Living room huge, bedrooms were an acceptable size, and the apartment had everything we needed. Lots of historical details showing what the room used to be used for.

More pillows would have been a nice touch, the ones provided were a bit flat and too firm for me. There are loads of windows in the living room area, so be careful when closing the roller blinds as some of them were a bit damaged, making them difficult to close/open.
