It was clean and a good location.
Customer service before and during the stay was the worse I have came across.

Location was fantastic
The app for opening main door and locking room door, as we where traveling in a group of 3 I had main entrance and my friend had the room, this meant we all had to be together to enter as we weren’t allowed multiple users
3.0 / 10.0
We liked that it was situated in a great location near to the center
It was FREEZING with only a little electric heater that took ages to warm the apartment up.
There were also only seating for 2 people (a 2-seater sofa) when there were 4 of us and not enough cups for us all to make a drink. The shower was also cold if you wasn’t the first to use it!
The apartment was also not very clean and there was a VERY STRONG smell of cannabis directly outside the room! On top of this, we didn’t like the door locking system which you had to faff about with downloading an app and had to do it on your phone!! If you ran out of phone battery, it was a mare!!!

Central location was great.
We had early check in included in the booking but upon arrival had to wait 2 hours for the normal check in times. The shower was leaking and bathroom sink wouldn’t drain water. The staff were able to fix the sink issue. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable.

Location was good
Lack of communication prior to stay, I asked 3 x re parking and access, but heard nothing. A helpful guy from the restaurant managed to get hold of the owner who finally sent access link. The communal areas smelled strongly of marjuana and there was a random bed in the hallway. When we got into the room, the bedroom area was dimly lit, all open plan so whilst ok for family, wouldn’t be suitable if any privacy was required. The bedroom had a bed made up in ancient and poor quality bed linen with a poor quality mattress and rock hard pillows. The sofa bed was a joke! It was broken and the only bedding provided was a mattress protector which was stained and smelly, together with 2 x pillows and a duvet neither of which were clean, very clearly dirty and used, these were located in the cupboard which had broken doors and was filthy inside. One socket in the bedroom area was taped over and one in the living area was scorched, so clearly unsafe! The shower room was poorly fitted, the door had a broken handle and no locking mechanism. The shower door was stiff and the shower tray clearly needs cleaning as the base filled with water and residual mould very quickly. The flush on the loo got stuck so the water kept running. Thankfully we had no need to use the kitchen, although it would have been nice to have a coffee in the morning, however all the crockery was in a dishwasher which clearly doesn’t work and was still soiled on our arrival! Disgraceful overall. I would absolutely not recommend. Never thought I’d say, but crikey a travel lodge would have been sheer luxury in comparison and a damn sight cheaper!

Location was good, close to restaurants and bars as well as liverpool one for shopping. Also close to the bus station for us to catch the bus to the airport.
The place wasn't overly clean, the shower had dirty grout, dirt around the outside of the shower and there was a mattress protector on the sofa bed that had stains on it, also there were crumbs and dirt on the sofa between the cushions. The bed was quite hard and the pillows were very hard. Also no cups or forks I the apartment and also we has some hassle getting into the property, had no correspondence with the property until I made contact when we got to liverpool, had to wait a while for a reply then we had to download an app for the lock od the door, couldn't get into the building as the outside door upu needed a separate code for the app and it wouldn't work but the woman who met us gave us a fob in the end up.

Good location and reasonably priced. Good bed.
Facilities were limited. No hob, no WiFi, strange set up with the main bed in the open plan lounge/bedroom/kitchen. Clearly a converted office. Staff were the building staff and didn’t seem to know much about the actual property. Only 1 key. Would be good to have an info folder in the property to give info on WiFi, parking, who to calm if there are problems etc.

Great location
Hosts were helpful and friendly and even provided wine and milk😀
Window leaked but it’s an old building and there was a storm

The location was ideal for being in city centre Liverpool and for the waterfront. The room was spacious and had all the basics needed for a stay.
Ease of getting into the property to begin with. I am not sure if it is a booking.com issue or what some hosts do, but there is a drowning of information, which means you can miss something from a message sent via the site such as how to get into your location or who to contact, as it is offering you extras for your stay like car hire or places to visit.

Stained bed linen, dirty freezer, broken door handles, shower tray blocked and took ges to run out so couldn’t open the door. No toiletries or tea/coffee facilites. Poor communication. Generally dirty.

The location was good for us being close to the ferry terminal
The dishwasher was full with dirty crockery so we couldn’t even have a drink as everything was dirty

Location was very good. Easy for Tate, Museum, Liver building and shops. NCP car park just around corner at £20 for 25 hours.
Mattresses were a bit too soft. No kettle.

The apartment is a lovely space, just needs tidying up boards loose cupboard doors.
Second time staying we thought since we knew what to do after last times struggle to get any answer at the door.still late answering the door ,said 5 minsto bring towels was gone over half hour ad to chase him 7p.plus no kettle in the room.shower cubicle base in bits.the place needs a big shake up on who looks after the rooms, it should be ready way before guests arrive.

The location is good. Near bars and restaurants. There is free parking in a basement car park. The apartment was a good size.
I contacted the host before arrival asking about the parking. I was told to just call the number when I arrive and they would come out and show us where to park. Arrived about 10:30 am and called the number provided. Turns out that is a number for booking.com. Ended up sending a message to say we had arrived. Didn't get a reply so decided to just drive down to the Albert Dock and park up there whilst we were exploring. .I then sent a message to say we had gone to Albert Dock and would check in later. We booked an apartment with 2 sofa beds and a double bed. When we came to check in I ended up going into the restaurant to ask about how we contact the host to check in. The lad checking us in then appeared as he had been waiting for us. We were shown to our apartment and then he left. We then discovered there were no instructions for the WiFi password. We went to make our sofa beds up so that we didn't have to do it after the night out. Turns out there was only 1 sofa bed and no bedding for it so we then had to contact the restaurant again as we forgot to get his number. He turned up about 2 hours later saying the owners were on holiday and he had been left to deal with it. We couldn't go out early as planned because we had to wait for him to come back. He also said they didn't have an apartment with 2 sofa beds and that it had been booking.com's mistake advertising the wrong amount of beds and to take it up with them. He disappeared and then came back with some bedding and said that they had a spare apartment downstairs that we could also use free of charge so that was nice of them to offer that to use. It looked like the building was under construction inside as it looked like it was being decorated and there were wires hanging from the roof of the walkway to the basement car park. Didn't have the best experience but it is in a good location.

We were allocated the wrong apartment
The host did not rectify this despite becoming aware shortly after check in
We should have been in a deluxe apartment with a king bed , two twins and a sofa bed but were allocated a room with one bed.
The host said they would sort it but did not respond to any messages all weekend.
One of the group had to sleep on the floor for two nights.
The lack of clear communication in the lead up to the stay was worrying.
1.0 / 10.0
The apartment was in a good location to the cavern quarter and other areas.
Where do I start:
Check in was awful, we had requested an early check in which was agreed to be contacted 20 minutes before arrival to say this was no longer possible. We arrived at 3pm and no one was there to meet us, we waited a further 40 minutes for someone from the restaurant to contact the buildings manager and someone finally checked us in.
We were given the wrong apartment and 2 of our party had to sleep in single beds when we had been told it would be a double. we then had to wait a furthee 30 minutes for duvet, covers and pillows.
The apartment building is awful, it's obviously an old office building that they are converting but we should have been told this before arrival.
The handle and lock on the door looked like it has been crow barred in, the microwave didn't work, there was no wardrobe just a clothes rail and 2 bedside tables - god knows what we would have done if we had been there more than 1 night!
The windows didn't open so god knows what we would have done if there had been a fire in our corridor.
I will now be complaining to booking.com as it was completely unacceptable for the price we paid!

Nothing.
When we arrived there was no one around and couldn’t even get in the building. Eventually a man turned up and said he would “go and get the room ready” after 10 mins he returns and points us in the direction of a room. The lock on the door was broken so took a while to get into the room. Once in the room there was a very strong smell of weed and the fire alarm repeatedly was beeping (if the man had been in cleaning he definitely would have heard this), there was a dehumidifier in the bedroom (which the bed looked like it had already been slept in). There was food and dirt all over the floors in each room, and the bathroom was disgusting. It definitely hadn’t been cleaned. We decided we couldn’t stay so had to go elsewhere. There was 0 communication with the people who owned the property and even after countless messages with photos of the property no one has ever come back to me.

Spacious main room.
Clean reception area.
The apartment has clearly had investment, which makes it stand out from the rest of the building.
Disappointing and Unsafe Experience – Would Not Recommend
We were not given the room we had booked, and the entire experience felt unsafe from the outset. The building was effectively a construction site, which made the atmosphere unsettling — my son was terrified throughout the night.
There was no communication from the owner at any stage. We had no idea how to access the property on arrival, and even while standing outside the apartment trying to get in, our calls and messages went completely unanswered.
Checking out was just as confusing, with no clear instructions provided.
Parking was also an issue — I couldn’t access my car during the night because the garage doors were locked without explanation or alternative access.
Despite being told we would receive the WiFi details, they were never sent, and there was no access to live TV either.

Great location and the apartment was clean
Good price
No running water in the bathroom sink so needed to use the sink in the kitchen area for cleaning my teeth and shaving. Shower was fine.
Crockery and glassware but no cutlery.
Blinds in lounge didn't close and with the apartment being at street level there was little privacy. It was also noisy at times.
I was greeted by a staff member on arrival but didn't see anyone after that.
I spent most of my time here out and about so I could cope with these shortfalls.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my grandparents who stayed here for a concert in Liverpool on 19.06.25. I booked on behalf of them and I was so impressed with the communication I received from host, Danny. He gave me regular updates before check in and kept me updated on the progress of the stay, which felt really personal and I felt comforted knowing my grandparents were staying in a lovely place.
My grandparents returned home today and were so impressed by this apartment. It was clean, trendy and very good value for money and they both said how friendly and accommodating Danny was. He is an asset to the company and they are looking forward to booking their next visit. Thank you so much!

Twas a bit confusing to begin with for the check in.. but.. Just go through the restaurant on the corner if its out of hours..Let me tell you though It was brilliant for the price and location.. its about 100 yards from Castle street .. town hall as a guide... everything needed ie food and shops within super easy access.. Staff for check in were the best I've met in quite some time.. Nice quiet spot.. guys I wish you all the best.. to the lad who helped out getting our luggage up into the room and staying out of his working hours.. mate I owe you a pint... great stay.. cheers.. John

Proximity. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Parking available and able to take our dog. Nice shower, kitchen and living room. Pleasant and helpful host.
Just the check in. It wasn't clear where the parking was and we had to wait to meet the host to check in. Maybe if the code to the building had been sent to us before arrival and then a key lock outside the door of the apartment would have been helpful?

The location of this property is fantastic
When I booked on booking.com it stated that I received free parking and an early check in from 10am. I messaged the property to ensure that was ok and to check where to park. They didn’t respond. I called the hotel many many times and no answer whatsoever. I was travelling with a 4 month old baby so knowing where to park and what time I could check in was important. I arrived at the hotel at around 2pm. There isn’t a reception and no staff at all. I kept calling the number and eventually someone answered. I said that I was here and supposed to be able to check in early. He came to meet me at the entrance but advised that “he didn’t work here he was just here to let me in” but despite my booking saying I could check in from 10am he couldn’t let me in the room until 3. Not ok when I had a baby needing feeding etc.
I went away and came back at 3pm… the corridors leading up to the room look really tired and run down, the room itself was really big, however a lot of the cups etc in the cupboard didn’t smell clean. I washed everything before use.
The building itself has no security and anyone can walk in off the street get in the lift and go anywhere in the hotel. It didn’t feel safe. The room is also locked and unlocked via an app on your phone. My battery was really low and this because a worry whilst out shopping in case I couldn’t get back in. With there being no staff at all, and no one answers the phone number when you call it, this would have been a problem not being able to access accommodation.
Overall not a good experience at all

The flat was well equipped and clean. It was in an ideal location near to the docks and Liverpool 1. Unfortunately we arrived the day after the car went into the crowd on Water Street, but the staff were great in getting us into the car park and building.
Really need better pillows. They were way too firm. It is my only complaint.
