The Picture House Apartments

The apartment was over 2 floors, with a lovely kitchen/living area. The bedrooms were quite a decent size and it had 2 bathrooms. Everything was very clean, the reception lady was lovely and friendly. She gave us directions to Anfield and told us where we could eat on the way. We booked as we were seeing the Foo Fighters, it was around a 25-30 minute walk to the stadium and 5 minutes away was a retail park with a KFC, McDonalds, Tim Horton etc. across the road was a BP petrol station, So plenty of placces to pick something up to eat.

The car park on site is a squeeze with minimum spaces, but the receptionist told us where to park on the road outside that wasn't permit parking and it was fine. The seagulls! I don't know where they were but it was a entire army of them squawking all night, I literally didn't sleep, we had the windows open as it was during the heatwave and there is no air con in the rooms. It was through the entire night. Obviously not the apartments fault they can't control the birds outside, but take ear plugs!!

The staff were helpful. Location suited our needs.

It was very noisy. The apartment lacked a couple of essentials. The apt was clean but a bit unloved. Some of the lights didn't work. It was pricey for what it was.

Guy on reception was helpful and friendly. Was a good location for attending the Hill Dickinson stadium. Less than 30 minute walk.

Flat was really tired looking and whole place could do with some looking after. Beds were not great and there was no space in the car park.

Traffic noise. For the price I would have expected a coffee maker rather than just a kettle. TV was not working (football World Cup) until I tuned it Whilst it says there is parking - there is allocated parking space to half the apartments- otherwise park on the street
