A lovely, pleasant experience and one I would always return to!

One of the best stays we’ve had in Europe. Duccio is an exceptional host and one of the few who also gives advice about your stay in Cinque Terre- how to use the trains, where to eat, what to do etc. He welcomed us personally for check-in and was flexible with the check-in time. We were very impressed with how clean and tidy the room was, and it had special touches in the bedroom as well as the bathroom. A quiet area with soundproof windows. Easily accessible with big luggage as it is on the ground floor. Also very close to the train station- about a 7 minute walk which is not an issue for us. We had the best stay here!

Amazing host, excellent location, very new and very clean room

Nice italian breakfast included (coffee and croissant) in the authentic bar in 50m from the flat. Excellent value for the price. The host was very friendy, he gave us many useful advice regarding places to visit, and even allowed to leave luggage for some hours after the check-out.

Highly recommended! It was a great experience! Duccio is a very nice and helpful host offered us with a ride from the train station to the hotel without even asking. He gave us very useful tips about the neighbourhood and visiting Cinque Terre in a quite a crowded time (Easter). We felt like home, Duccio pinged us from time to time asking if all is fine and if we need any help/support. We even got a chocolate rabbit for the Easter. For the room we are very satisfied as well, very comfortable and clean. Location is perfect for visiting the Cinque Terre towns, very close to the train station, close to the small grocery store! We will get back there if we decide to visit Cinque Terre once again in the future. Thank you Duccio and best regards from Poland!

In a quiet location but near most facilities. Good restaurant very near is Re Ba

The room is on the ground floor of a block of flats, although there are two flights of stairs. The room is bright and very clean with modern fittings. Breakfast, coffee and a bun, was available from a nearby cafe. Fruit juice, water and tea or coffee are available on site. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Number one choice in La Spezia.

Fabulous accommodation. Clean, comfortable, quiet and everything you need is taken care of. Great functioning shower. Duccio is an extremely helpful host, which saved us the time of finding out local information. Breakfast vouchers and special extras make this an absolute number one choice for a stay over. It's in walking distance to everything, including the station, making it ideal for easy access to the Cinque terra.

No private parking, but for €10 you get a full day parking. If you don't mind walking 3 or so blocks, there is free parking.

PERFECT LOCALIZATION, PERFECT HOST, Very nice apartment with very comfy bed and nice bathroom! Co-sharing kitchen, with brand new coffee machine, free breakfast vouchers given by the host. Very close to train station (4 minutes walking), but quiet room - good windows! AC in the room, water and snack included. Host is amazing nice person, with tons of advice and recommendations. Wish to come back again!

Duccio was an amazing host.. so friendly and full of information to help plan our stay.. breakfast was in the cafe across the street and had amazing pastries. Great value for the area and free WiFi and a kitchen and dining area for those planning a longer stay.

my stay was july 24-26 the room is sparkling clean. inside the communal area including the kitchen, u have basically all u need - close to railway station. - close to eateries - close to fresh fruit stalls - air conditioning - quiet neighbourhood at night

This made our holiday!

The location was in an ideal area close to the train station, it was a short walk into the main streets in La Spezia too. The room itself had excellent aircon, WiFi and facilities, along with a change of towels. The host was fantastic! He made us feel at home and was so attentive and informative throughout the whole holiday!

Duccio the host was very helpful, had great tips about where to go, did every thing he could to make us feel good. The location is fantastic, close to the center with all the restaurants and close to the train station for the 5 Tera visit. also gave us a voucher for breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful host with good list of tips for navigation around the area. He also provides a voucher for simple breakfast around at a cafe around the corner. Apartment is clean with basic amenities and room is comfy. Less than 10min walk to train station for visit of Cinque Terre.

Location is quite a stretch from La Spezia central restaurant area. It takes at least 20min, a pretty long walk to reach but I supposed it’s alright walking back after meal. Free parking is around 700m from the apartment, outdoor paid parking is nearby but hard to find availability from late noon onwards.

Fantastic base to explore, and I was pleasantly surprised at the city itself as well.

Duccio is a fantastic host - he was waiting for me even when I was late arriving, gave a full tour and explanation, offered excellent advice on where to eat and of course gave great tips about exploring the city and Cinque Terre. He also checked by message on how things were just a couple of times to be thoughtful but not intrusive so that was great. The apartment is a very easy nice walk into the main restaurant/bar area where there a huge number of excellent restaurants - make sure you book on a Friday or Saturday because the place is really buzzing.

Nothing as far as accommodation goes - the city is prettier than its initial appearances provide - exploring was safe and worthwhile as despite the aging appearance of parts of the town, there are really delightful parts in the old part of town and the port area.

The host, Duccio, was incredibly gracious and helpful and was always available if we needed anything. Gave us so many wonderful tips around how to explore the Cinque Terre region. He even gifted us with coupons for breakfast to the restaurant around the corner from the apartment. The room was incredibly clean. The bathroom was updated and spacious. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, within 10 minutes walking to the main square and train station.

All-round carefree package

Duccio is a great host. Arriving at La Strezia was like visiting family. We received a warm welcome, a very nice tour of the well-maintained flat & great tips for restaurants & excursions. The facilities are great: modern, clean bathroom, good bed, wardrobe, hairdryer, fridge, coffee/tea/biscuits and much more. What we did not expect at all: We even got vouchers for breakfast (coffee & croissant) - very nice. What I also liked very much: Duccio pays attention to sustainability with the care products in the bathroom (shower bath, soap, etc.). Great stay, we'll be happy to come back.

Duccio was the perfect host, gave us lots of information , helped us with the luggage, gave us vouchers for breakfast on the last night, which was a nice touch. honestly we couldn't have asked for more! The location is spot on for the train station. The place is super clean. Ideal for a couple of nights to visit 5 terre.

Best choice to visit Cinque Terre

the accommodations is perfect for two people. We got everything we need, including a little bit of snacks such as biscuits and teas, etc. Room was very clean, bathroom is new, towels, hairdryer etc. It was also possible to order food easily from ‘just eat’, as it is located at the city center. Most importantly, Duccio was the best host ever. Very friendly and helpful. he reserved a parking spot for us, was able to help when we just arrived, communication was clear & fast respond. A looot of tips, which we needed as a tourist! very very appreciated and I’ll definitely come back if I ever visit CInque Terre again. Ciao and grazi! 😊
