Although we did not announce that we would be accompanied by small children, we were welcomed without additional charge, although we were informed that our own policy does not accept children. We did not request anything extra for them, although the host was open to providing us with them.

There are many aspects (crooked and dirty walls, damp bathroom, entrance from the street and shuttered windows, etc.) and there is no space to go into detail. Shockingly, despite an incredibly high rating, the location does not offer the feeling of a living space but of a former warehouse converted into a B&B.

Nice place with a kind host

The host was very kind, helping us to make good plans for the short stay. She has cleaned the room daily. Also, we checked in when we arrived, at 11:00AM. The location is very convenient for traveling by train and at a short walking distance from the down town.

The wall paint and the furniture look a bit "tired".

Fantastic host, very convenient location.

Federica was such a terrific host. She was extremely helpful throughout our stay, even helping us with coordinating buses to get to the property when we arrived in La Spezia. The property was also very clean and cozy. It was the perfect location for our stay while exploring Cinque Terre over a couple of days. Very close to the train station, bus stops and restaurants.

We were greeted by a very nice woman who made us feel welcome, gave us a map of the city and good recommendations for places to visit and places to eat. The apartments are in a very convenient location, 5 minutes walk from the central station and the old town. There is a shared kitchen and everything you need to spend a couple of nights. I recommend.

Just perfect 10/10

I booked a last-minute weekend getaway in La Spezia to explore Cinque Terre, and I couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation. The location was incredibly strategic – just a 2-minute walk from the central train station and about 10 minutes to the port, which made exploring the villages super convenient. The room, run by the lovely Federica, was quiet and private, located at the back of the building. It had tall ceilings, a modern and spotless bathroom, and a large, clean room with immaculate white towels and linens. At the end of the hallway, there was a shared kitchen and fridge, which was really handy. Federica was an outstanding host – she reached out before my arrival, shared all the important information, and even suggested an amazing boat trip with Tony (which I’ll review separately on TripAdvisor – it was fantastic!). She also gave me an itinerary, and thanks to her, I managed to cover a lot in just a day and a half: boat tour, village walks, ferry rides, and even a peaceful final stroll in La Spezia after check-out, as she kindly held my luggage. Some reviews complain about the number of keys or the neighborhood, but honestly – if you want an authentic Italian experience, you can’t expect digital keys and five-star hotel polish. Yes, the area has some local character, but as a solo female traveler, I never felt unsafe – just came back by 9 PM out of tiredness, not fear. Only thing to note: they didn’t provide conditioner or body lotion, but I didn’t ask – and I’m sure Federica would have helped if I had. Highly recommend – 100%. Great accommodation, kind and helpful host, and a perfect base for exploring the Cinque Terre. Don’t overthink it – book it!

Great host and great location. clean and comfortable with good access to kitchen facilities that allowed us to store some fridge bits for packed lunches for hikes. host was very nice and accommodating to our check in and check out times etc. breakfast included at local cafe was fine too.

Francesca welcomed us when we arrived.She contacted with us day before to learn when we will arrive which is very good.room and the linens were very clean.She checked the room everyday..when we arrived she gave us very useful info about what to do.excellent stay.the facility is very close station 10 minutes,ferry station 25 minıtes walk.

The bathroom door was flimsy and noisy so you couldn't use the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking your partner. Breakfast at the bar was substandard so we only went there the first day, then found our own bars for coffee and a bite to eat

The beds, mattresses and pillows. The mattress is horrible. I still have a terrible back pain. Also the pillows are too low and soft. Really need to change the mattress and the pillows

Good Location but Ask for the Quiet Room

Federica was very kind and very easy to communicate with. I wish I had asked for a quiet room. The location was very good, close to the train station and the downtown area.

Our room was very noisy!! The window had to stay open because there is no AC, you could hear everyone coming and going. The entry light was on all night long, and again, we couldn't pull the drapes, the room would get too warm. If you decide to stay here, make sure you get the room farthest away from the entry.

Convenient nearby train station. Good oral information upon arrival and some flyers, town map. Quite clean and safe place. Common kitchen with some utensils and fridge.

Dark room, ground floor, facing the street. Limited service e.g boiler but no coffe, just tea. No staff. Breakfast at cafe some hundred meters away. No blankets and cold at night.

La anfitriona fue súper amable.Nos abrió la habitación antes de tiempo e incluso nos cambió a una superior porque tenía disponibilidad. El desayuno estupendo en una cafetería muy cercana y la ubicación inmejorable a 3 min de la estación de trenes.

Nous avons apprécié la propreté, le confort, l’équipement de la chambre et son espace ainsi que la bienveillance et la compétence de l’hôtesse Federica, qui nous a reçus avec beaucoup d’amabilité Nous avons apprécié la bouilloire les thés les cafés et les biscuits mis à disposition , la cuisine bien équipée et le petit déjeuner compris dans le tarif pris au bar restaurant à 100mètres de la maison. Federica nous a donnés de très bons conseils et en plus de très bonnes adresses de restaurants simples et pas chers ainsi que de très jolis lieux à découvrir en plus des Cinque Terre, lieu magnifique malgré un temps nuageux . « Una casa » où il y fait bon vivre et où l’on se sent bien Vraiment à recommander ! Merci Federica on reviendra !

Nos alojamos dos noches en Sapore di mare para visitar Cinque Terre y la experiencia fue muy buena. La ubicación es excelente, a pasos de la estación de tren, lo que hizo muy fácil movernos por la zona. El departamento estaba limpio y equipado con todo lo necesario. El arreglo que tienen con un café cercano para el desayuno es muy conveniente: abre desde las 5 de la mañana, ideal si uno necesita tomar un tren temprano. Federica fue una anfitriona excepcional: muy amable, atenta y nos entregó una guía completísima con recomendaciones y consejos para aprovechar al máximo nuestra visita a La Spezia y sus alrededores.
