Convenient and close to train station .

The room was very clean . The owner was very friendly and helpful . It is nice and close to the train station . The area just down the street and to the right with restaurants and shops was very convenient. The parking area was a little hard to find at first but once there it was fine .

Easy access to the train station. Excellent host Riccardo who anticipated my needs and provided all considerations. He provided clear information about Cinque Terre. Provided advanced warnings about weather conditions. Helped bring down of my big suitcase and store it.

Excellent accommodations spotless, location 5 min walk to train station which was perfect for seeing all cinque terre town's. Would definitely stay here again. Host had us change our planned site seeing and made much more sense than we had planned. Thanks so much.

We stayed two nights and could have stayed longer

This was close to the train station. It was clean with a comfortable bed. The owner was kind and friendly. There was good lighting in the bathroom and places to leave your things.

Luckily we had instant coffee as the pods give you the smallest amount of coffee.

Very nice place to visit 5 Terra

The Host Riccardo is very nice, friendly and helpful, he gave us nice pieces of advise about the location and places to visit. The location is excellent , next to the central Station , 5 minutes walk. The room is clean, like a bonus we got small snacks. Nice parking place, 10€/pro night.

It is a bit loud outside ( to avoid this it’s better to sleep with the windows closed and with conditioner)

Very pleasant time in La Spezia.

Riccardo is a fantastic host. He gave us good advice about the Cinque Terre hikes.

There was nothing not to like. Just a warning don’t judge a book by it’s cover. When we arrived I had a moment when I was a bit skeptical about the accommodation because the outside looked old, but it’s a beautiful old building with lots of charm on the inside.

Great location to visit Cinque Terre

The host was very welcoming and gave several useful tips for those who want to explore Cinque Terre and Portovenere. The B&B is really close to the train station and also few minutes walking from La Spezia centre. Stores, restaurants and market nearby. The breakfast is very simple.

The bed could be more comfortable. It was too soft and not ideal for someone who has back problems.

Wonderful stay in La Spezia!

The location is ideal - less than a 5 minute walk from La Spezia train station, which was perfect for our trip to Cinque Terre and also for getting to Pisa airport. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast snacks were very much appreciated! Riccardo made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived - he shared great advice and tips with us for places to eat and things to do. Overall, great value for money. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Grazie, Riccardo!

Great value for the terrific location. Great host.

Terrific location - close to the train station and the La Spezia pedestrian zone. Riccardo met me at the check in time, a bit later than his usual check in time, so no issues with check in - easy to drop off luggage and then Riccardo showed me where to park nearby and walked back to the room and pointed out a few things along the way. He gave lots of good tips and info on hiking Cinque Terre - even giving me a map of the trails since I was hiking in the winter, out of the normal season. My dog had no issues with the internal room - no street noise to bother us (fireworks on the New Years are always a concern). Comfortable double bed and private bathroom. Riccardo even left a bottle of prosecco as well as his usual treats for breakfast.

Parking is about 500m away; however, it's overwatched by RIccardo's father who lives near the parking space - no issues with leaving my car there...... just a bit far, so if you don't offload all your baggage on arrival, you'll be carrying/ wheeling them for a bit...

Nice, clean, good value for mony, great postion for visiting Cinque Terre

Very nice, clean, great position-walking distance cca 5 min to the train station, arround the corner is pedestrian area with shops and restaurants.. We reserved privat parking becouse the apartment is in the center and finding parking would be hard, and more expensive. Very nice owner, mr.Ricardo, who gave us great information about everything we wanted to know.

The perfect stay

Everything!! The property is located 5 minutes walk from the station and is really easy to reach. Our host kindly helped us to check-in a little later than originally scheduled (which we really appreciated) and then proceeded to upgrade our room for free. The room and shared facilities are impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, the wifi is good and our host also helped us by sharing information on the best places to eat and the best way to make use of our time when visiting the region. He, and his property were simply amazing and encapsulate the true spirit of ‘hosting’ and ‘caring’. We will be back for sure and recommend this place without a doubt!!

The best choice ever for your accomodation in La Spezia

The room was in a nice historic building, right in front of the train station for Cinque Terre and just around the corner of the main street of the city center. It is very nicely decorated and equiped with small but useful details such as suitcase stands. Coffee, tea and some snacks were free from the house. It was clean and it was also refreshed for us since we booked it for two nights. Riccardo, the owner did help us very much by explaing all the details for the train tickets to Cinque Terre, the parking options, the city center and nearby excursions like Porto Venere. Riccardo was more than professional and I would prefer this accomodation again. It was the best choice for sure. Download the "EasyPark" App to use it for parking your car all around Itally easily.

Excellent host

Fantastic host, always available by text - great communication and lots of extra touches to make our stay special. Lovely clean room with nice light decor. Good sized shower. Nice to have breakfast bits in the room and tea/coffee available in the small kitchen area. Great location - near train station and not far from main historical centre. Quiet at night - good sound proofing in room/building.

Room was a bit hot - the air con only went as low as 24 degrees which was not good for us: we like to sleep in a temp between 18-20. It also didn’t seem very powerful ( I ended up sleeping with my head on the lower end of the bed to get some of the ‘breeze’ on my upper body!). It also dripped on my husbands head and pillow one night! So, didn’t get a good nights sleep across our 3 night stay. The bathroom, being small, was quite stifling at night. However, this did not detract from the overall positive stay.

Very convenient place to visit Cinque Terre with a great host

Riccardo is a gem of a host! He cared for every detail, gave us good advice to visit the area and made sure that everything was in order. He goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are happy. The room was clean and quiet, the bed and pillows comfortable and the location really convenient to walk to the train station. Good wifi.

As it is normal in this kind of buildings, one can hear other guests opening and closing doors and we were waken up when other people were entering or leaving.

Convenient location

Like in other places in Italy, this is a room in a big converted apartment of an old, beautiful building. The owner is very polite, pleasant and dedicated time to share tips for our trip. Our main reason for stay was to visit Cinque Terre and the train station is a very short and safe 3 minute walk away. The builiding itself is fairly central in La Spezia, close to squares and shopping. There are free or paid parking options around (we parked at Piazza D'Armi which is free, about 12 minute walk away, fairly safe though not very pretty, but with few options of empty spots).

There was a damp smell in the bathroom. The surrounding streets can get a bit loud.

lovely apartment in a brilliant location with a fantastic host

We stayed at Riccardo’s place in La spezia and it was absolutely perfect for our 4 day stay whilst visiting cinque terre. Only a quick train ride to the towns of cinque terre that run really frequently. The apartment is really close to the train station, but also the Main Street in La spezia for bars and restaurants. And the port is only a 10-15min walk away. Riccardo was an excellent host, easily reachable if needed, and was very accommodating. He made sure our room was stocked up everyday with complimentary snacks for breakfast 😊 . It was a lovely place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone coming to la spezia

Location was excellent, close to everything. The room was nice and spacious, the host was very kind, he gave us recommendations for hikes visit and food and all were spot on. We also had access to microwave, tea, we had morning toast with Nutella and juice. Very sweet. Will definitely come again!
