Convenient location and large room

Very large room in an apartment on the first floor of an older style residential building set well back from the road (access via a gate). Very close to train station so perfect for day trips to Cinque Terre, and the city’s main shopping/cafe/restaurant area starts diagonally across the road which is really convenient. Room had plenty of space to store cases and hang clothes. Various sockets provided for plugs and phone charging which was great. Large, clean en-suite shower room. Room also has a kettle, tea/coffee and a safe, and there is a coffee machine with pods out in the corridor for guests. Reception/office is open 8.30am to midday and they can assist with arranging Cinque Terre tours etc. Host Chiara was very friendly and helpful, from assisting with our cases to providing local advice and recommendations (thank you Chiara!). We opted to include breakfast and enjoyed croissants, cereal, yoghurt, cheese and salami in the apartment’s kitchen. Very low level train sounds outside the window in the morning but nothing that you would really notice or worry about - and nothing we noticed during sleeping hours.

Convenient, Cute and Thoughtful

I only stayed for one night as I had an early morning train from La Spezia to Pisa, but I truly loved this place and I wish I stayed longer. The location is very convenient, just a short 5-minute walk from the station, which made my travel so easy and gave me time to explore La Spezia. The room was super cute, beautifully decorated, and perfect for a solo traveller like me. It felt very welcoming and comfortable. Every necessary thing I need is available. There's even a coffee machine in the common area. Chiara assisted me before my arrival and was amazing! She shared all the details I needed in advance. From directions to accessing the property by myself, everything was clear and easy. I really appreciated how she thought of every single detail to make my stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place in La Spezia.

Great place to stay

Location is great, detailed instructions for check in, comfortable room and fully refurbished in a nice modern style. Soundproof windows as the trains are very close to the building, if you have the window open you can hear them really loudly. Value for money.

2nd floor with no access to lift, had to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs. We arrived around 8pm when the reception was not open anymore and not sure if you arrive within the ‘normal’ check in time, if you’re able to use the lift.

Wonderful stay

We were greeted with warm welcome. Chiara and Manuel are amazing hosts. Don't make your cinque Terre plan before asking Manuel. He is from Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre expert. Property is in superb location. Steps away from the train station and at the beginning of the pedestrian street. Place is nicely renovated. Room is tastefully furnished, clean, mattress is comfortable. There are fridge, kettle, toiletteries, etc. We had a nice breakfast. Grazie Mille Manuel and Chiara.

Manuel was a really great host. Met us at the door and carried our bags up the stairs for us and let us leave them there as we were earlier than our check in time. Also let us leave our bags after checkout while we went to check on our hire car. Room was really nice, quite new and very clean. Very quiet location and gated so very secure. I would definately recommend staying here.

Perfect Place to Stay @ La Spezia (Gateway to Cinque Terre)

First time to be in La Spazia as a solo traveler. Stayed for one night. I decided to stay in La Spazia as my base to see the Cinque Terre. The hotel is walking distance from the La Spazia Central Station (about 250 meters), easy to locate and very accessible. The host, Manuel was very accommodating and regularly responds to my messages, so the communication was smooth as I was traveling by myself. The room is very clean, spacious and it feels like staying in a home. I love the interior of my room and the design of the bathroom. Before I arrived, I requested Manuel for a flat iron and it was provided during my stay. Manuel provided a well detailed explanation how to explore Cinque Terre and even assisted me to get the park/train ticket online. The hotel is located also near the city centre of La Spazia where you can dine, shop and walk the bayside. I opted for a breakfast and was so cheap (Euro 3). Bag storage is available in case you checkout and you need to leave your bags for few hours.

Perfect location in La Spezia for visiting Cinque Terre

This guesthouse, within a larger building, is located a couple of minutes walk from the train station - perfect when going out to the Cinque Terre. Although our room looked right out on the train tracks the soundproofing must be very good as we never heard the trains in the night. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent and the place was immaculately clean. The breakfast (small fee extra) and in particular the coffee was great. We were also able to get some clothes washing done for another small fee, which was very useful. The staff were really pleasant and helpful.
