Wonderful and comfortable! A must recommended!

It was overall very nice stay. The hotel is close to central station and it was very easy to go to and fro for visiting cinque terre villages via fast trains. Hotel was cleaned everyday, kettle and tea was available in room. Breakfast was also served to guests. Overall very nice place to live!

Stay here!

Met with friendly receptionist and the hotel is super close to the train station (2 minute walk to the left as you exit). We needed to check out of our previous hotel rather early and Hotel Venezia kindly held our bags at 9:30am until we could check in at 3pm. We returned in the afternoon and someone had already brought our bags up to our room. The room was clean, had all the amenities you need including AC, 4 pillows for a queen bed, a safe, and a small refrigerator as well as an actual working towel bar that heated up. It’s super close to numerous restaurants in downtown La Spezia. The booking.com site doesn’t indicate breakfast being included, but it is and it’s open 7:30-9:30. It’s not a buffet-you sit down and a server brings you a croissant, cake, roll, yogurt, juice, water and your choice of coffee. Cereal, cookies and pastry toppings are also available. For the location, friendly staff, AC, free breakfast, and decent room, I would recommend staying here!

The locks on both the main door and bathroom door locked, but were a bit fidgety as they’re very old. Shower is tiny.

1 night at La Spezia

The hotel (which was completed renovated, everything is very new and modern) is localed very close to the railway station. The breakfast is nice, the room was superb too. The hotel is about 20-25 min walking to the harbor, where the boats to cinque terre depart. If you prefer to go by train, so it is about 5 min. But I recomend to go by boat, it was a very nice experience. About 10-15 min walking from the hotel (directions to the harbor) you can find lot of restaturants. There are other restaurants nearby hotel (2-3 min). I have stayed only 1 night. There are lift and Air Conditioning at the room

I was driving by Italy so I have tried to book the car park from hotel. They have only 3 spaces and they are booked when I have tried. I parked at railway station but it is very expensive (almost double of the hotel price)

Cosy hotel in great location

Nice cosy hotel close to train station and walkway through city to waterfront. Rooms are modest but clean and comfortable. Staff are welcoming and helpful with advice on local things to do.

We really enjoyed La Spezia’s restaurants and walking areas after a long day of exploring.

Location to the train station was a plus for us! It was a great location for exploring the Cinque Terre by train and ferry! Staff was great.

Beds were comfortable enough but pillows not so much.

Great location if you are visiting Cinque Terre. It’s a two minute walk from the train station. Simple hotel with the basic necessities. Very nice staff!

The doors are not sound proof, so you can hear people talking on the hallway and doors opening in the morning. If you are a light sleeper that could be a problem.

Perfect Hotel!

Everything! Perfect location. It is within walking distance to train station, supermarket, ferry port, shops and restaurants. Train station is within sight from the hotel entrance. Breakfast is plentiful with croissant, cake, yoghurt, coffee, juice, and choice of biscuits. Staff are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Sylvia who gave us good recommendation and directions. Strongly recommend!

Excellent location if travelling by train and welcoming staff.

Close to the station and easy access to everything. The staff here go out of their way to make you feel at home and breakfasts were lovely.

The only thing more I would have liked was a kettle and tea bags in the room for a cuppa.

Good choice for those visiting Cinque Terre

Good location very close to La Spezia railway station and thus great to base yourself in if you are visiting Cinque Terre. The included breakfast, although with very basic choices, was very welcome for the price.

The room was quite small. Bed, wardrobe, bathroom. No window. Thats it.
