Excellent location - practical gateway to explore Cinque Terre!

Stayed for two nights / 2 rooms, a convenient base for exploring Cinque Terre. Location: The hotel’s excellent location—right next to the main train station —makes it very easy to reach Cinque Terre and other destinations. It’s also surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés, so dining options are never a problem. The Carrefour supermarket is just a two‑minute walk away, which was very handy. Rooms: We booked two standard rooms facing the front. While the rooms were small, they were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Morning noise from the street was noticeable, but manageable. Amenities & Services: A nice touch was that the hotel provided umbrellas free of charge, which was a lifesaver given the rainy weather. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English, which made communication easy. Parking: Public underground parking is available just around the corner. It’s spacious, feels secure, and costs about €25–30 per 24 hours. Breakfast: We didn’t try the hotel breakfast since there are so many great cafés and brunch spots nearby. Worth considering if you’re looking for a practical gateway to explore Cinque Terre.

During New Year's, the hotel only had heating on and no air conditioning, which made the rooms feel a bit stuffy since the outside temperature wasn’t that cold. Sleeping was slightly uncomfortable because of this. Unfortunately, the Wi‑Fi signal was weak or nonexistent in our rooms, which was disappointing. Tiny shower box, even for a small Asian, I almost hit the hot water lever every time I turned around.

The rooms are very well appointed but have absolutely no hooks to hang coats and clothing. And the ‘cupboard’ length from the hanging bar to the drawers is so short that a shirt does not hang free, but crumples at the bottom. The toiletries are excellent quality

Maybe 50m to the train station. Close to the city center and lots of restaurants. Nice clean, modern rooms and bathrooms. A safe in the closet. Clean and well equipped gym. Excellent breakfast buffet. All staff were helpful and friendly.

Lovely hotel!

The restaurant here is fantastic!! I highly suggest it. Not a large selection on the menu, but everything we had was great. Great service. Room was nice. Shower was very tiny. Towels seem to be giant in Italy, which I love! Location is great! A long walk to the water, but short walk to many shops and restaurants.

BRILLIANT!!!!

Everything about this property was great! You couldnt ask for a better location.. situated right across from La Spezia stazione which gave us easy access to the towns of cinque terre..and it was a 5 minute walk into the main centre of La Spezia where all the shops and restaurants were. The rooms were a great size plenty of room to put your luggage, and the aircon was awesome.

Classy Upscale Vibe - Great Location - Pricy for the Value

Only a two minute walk from the train station & very easy to walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Great place to stay if you want to enjoy La Spezia, or take a short train ride to Cinque Terre. Rooms had robes and slippers, and the bathroom was incredible. We had a spacious room and a very classy feel to the hotel. Seems like it is meant for a bit of an older crowd.

It was pretty pricy for the value in my opinion (not really any extra amenities, breakfast was not included), but we still enjoyed our stay overall.

Great location!

Great location for catching the train to Cinque Terre or/and the ferry to Portovenere. The hotel is a short walk to restaurants and down to the harbour. The Terminus Cafe connected to the hotel has great food. We had a lovely meal with excellent service.

Very convenient location to train station. Very clean hotel overall. Breakfast was excellent. The service at Terminus cafe was outstanding and cocktails were delicious phenomenal.

The location from La Spezia Centrale train station was literally a one minute walk, basically across the street, which made it so easy. La Spezia is a nice port city, and the harbor, which is only about a mile or so from the hotel, is beautiful. The staff is excellent.

They do charge a little too much if you have water or anything from the minibar. I feel that they should provide 2 bottles of water in the room without charge.

Excellent location for Cinque Terra. ( 2 minute walk to train station ) Comfortable room. Great service. Had a bar and restaurant. Bonus nibbles with drinks ordered. Hotel organized for our bags and car to be stored prior to check in.

Fantastic location close to the train station. Nice hotel, great breakfast. Close to the pedestrian shopping area. Close to the restaurants. It was perfect for our needs…..20 mins walk to the harbour for boat trips and 1 min walk to train for Cinque Terre.

PRACTICAL COMFORT at LA SPEZİA

Central location. Just next to railway station & central parking. but 18 min. walking to port. Immediate access to all public transport. Very good breakfast. Well equipped room & bathroom.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel offers a very good and rich breakfast and it is conveniently located opposite the train station and at the borders of the pedestrian town centre. Also the room was clean and spacious for the family (junior suite).

Our room was overlooking the inner utilities area with the AC units of other rooms and above the kitchen’s ventilation, which unfortunately didn’t do justice to its name as junior suite. Also it was located in the old part of the building and it could be noisy sometimes with footsteps from other rooms.

Old facility , small room, not private since you can heard your neighbor’d activity. Staffs are friendly but not professional. WiFi signal is vey poor. Also TV signal are also not stable which often jittering.

Very central location in La Spezia on the Italian west coast. Within easy walking distance of a parkade, coffee shops, restaurants, and retailers. Very comfortable and clean with a real hotel feel. Excellent breakfast. Good value for money.

Clean hotel and room. Room is tiny comparing to US standard. Room window can't be fully closed. Noise from the street came right in at night. Really bad experience there.
