Great place to stay that is central to everything.

The location was great. Easy to get to the train station, restaurants, shops and the beach. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Staff were very friendly and helpful and full of advice when asked. The room was spacious with our own balcony. The rooftop is also very nice to sit up there enjoying the view.

We were truly pleasantly surprised!

We were drawn in right from the start after drinking the refreshing welcome lemonade freshly squeezed using lemons from their orchard! Amazing location, cute hotel, beautiful cosy rooms, lovely selection of vegetarian food during breakfast. All the staff members were so lovely, kind and friendly and went above and beyond to make our visit to beautiful Cinque Terre a wonderful experience. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family in a heartbeat.

We noticed that the bathroom and room wasn't being cleaned thoroughly daily. However having said this, I've still given it a high rating to show that it wasn't bad at all, just that there's room for improvement.

Our room was beautiful and clean with a lovely terrace. Breakfast was great and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a drink in the courtyard before dinner most nights, it was beautiful.

This is our fourth time to stay in this hotel. They are like family to us.

A large sitting area and a large selection of items are offered for breakfast. The staff is very personal, professional, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is very close to the beach, very good restaurants, and shopping. They have a very nice courtyard and a roof top patio.

Relaxing, friendly atmosphere, lovely staff

The breakfast was really delicious. I felt welcome as soon as we arrived. We were offered some refreshments and cake while the staff was doing the check in. They went above and beyond my expectations in terms of service, allowing us to use one of their changing rooms after check out. The room were comfortable, with a beautiful balcony allowing us to have time with our friends.

Was a perfect location, easy access, close to everything and a really nice space to relax in

Great space, easy to hang out in on private terrace o or the garden, and location was fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful on restaurants, hiking planning, ferry rides, etc, which made it very easy for us to enjoy the area with no stress.

A gem!

The location of the hotel was perfect as a base for visiting Cinque Terre. Great choice at breakfast. Close to restaurants and bars - 5 minute walk. The staff were all so lovely and helpful! Tasty homemade lemonade and cake on arrival was much appreciated :)

The perfect hotel to explore the Cinque Terre region.

Hotel La Colonnina exceeded our expectations. It was located in a quiet street within the Old Town of Monterosso. We were greeted with a cool lemon drink and a piece of lemon cake on our arrival and sat peacefully in the sweet garden. Our room was gorgeous, quiet and cool. Breakfast amazing, staff so very helpful and location perfect. The train was close by, restaurants fabulous, beaches glorious and walking tracks amazing. ❤️❤️ A hidden gem.

An incredible facility, delicious breakfast, and generous staff overall.

The owners kept in contact via email. As we were arriving late via train, they provided the platform/bin for our connection to ensure we would make our connection in La Spezia. They opened the door upon arrival and quickly showed us to our room. The room was amazing and included it’s own private terrace! The following morning, we enjoyed a plentiful and sumptuous breakfast before the front desk staff assisted us with discount Cinque Terre train/hiking passes.

Staff makes this place the place to stay!

The homemade lemonade at check-in was so refreshing. Staff kind and very helpful. Breakfast staff was also wonderful! Homemade pastries were delicious. Wonderful fresh juices. Great coffee. Helpful in getting us reduced ticket to hike the Cinque Terre trails. Close to everything yet quiet. I highly recommend.

Comfortable, clean hotel with very nice staff in a central location.

Good central location, well run hotel with staff who understood good customer service and provided an efficient and friendly service, a team of excellent housekeepers from the Philippines, who kept the rooms immaculately clean. Really nice hotel to stay in.

Wonderful hotel. They made us feel comfortable and at home. It starts with the convenient signage directing us to the hotel and ended with the breakfast care package give to us when we had to catch an early train. So thoughtful, so nice

Terrific property in a lovely town.

Excellent location, very close to the main areas of town but still quiet. Wonderful breakfast, spacious room and bathroom. We especially enjoyed the balcony and the rooftop sun deck.

Shower water pressure is weak, though that can happen in an old building.

We would have expected a better hotel for the price!

Staff is very kind. The room was clean. Location is alright.

First of all if you are coming with the car they do not explain it before you book it but they send you a confirmation with car parking is available only with payment and far from the hotel, the hotel doors are locked after midnight and elevator was shut down, no AC in the room, breakfast was so limited that we couldn't get enough to complete the breakfast but staff in the restaurant was very kind to serve. Management was so rude and not helpfull, we will not book again at this hotel for sure.

I liked the hotel staff and owner. Location was also very convenient.

Room was very damp even with heater on, toilet seat was broken, pillows were flat and hard some fluff or additional pillows would be a good hotel standard, and customers would be more comfortable. A bottle of water would also be welcome per room. Bed was also hard and felt always damp. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great hotel, Monterosso according to me is the best city of the Cinque Terre region.
