Stunning views

We had a nice stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable, and as promised plenty of free parking at the hotel. The location of this hotel is high up on the mountain which offers magnificent views over the coast. It’s not really close to anything, but they provide a free shuttle service to and from town/beach which runs hourly and takes less than 5 mins. The breakfast which is included has a large variety of nice foods, the staff are polite and helpful. Communication from the hotel and check in/out process was efficient.

Prachtig uitzicht!! Mooie kamer, niet heel groot maar alles wat je nodig hebt. Lekkere douche, alles schoon. Gratis parkeren en gratis pendelbus naar het centrum en terug

De weg erheen is een beetje spannend, 2 richting verkeer en past maar 1 auto op de weg.

Lovely view and great breakfast

Only one card issued for room entry. Even if 2 guests. Were told this was to ensure air conditioning wasn’t left on. However we are paying for the room 24/7 so should be able to leave air conditioning on to make our stay comfortable. Bedding was not comfortable. Just a doona cover so was cold and had to request extra bedding. Only one single doona for a double bed.

Welcoming and comfortable

Property had best view. Staff very accommodating. Had great shuttle service so parked car in lot and didn’t use it until we left. Great included breakfast every morning. We will definitely be back!!

Mooie en rustige locatie bovenop de berg.

Het busje van het hotel gaat slechts 1 keer per uur naar boven en naar beneden. Op spitsuren is er te weinig plaats op het busje. De chauffeur gaat wel over en weer, maar je merkt tussen de gasten dat het ieder voor zich is om om ter snelste op het busje te zitten.

Un séjour à couper le souffle avec la vue magnifique depuis l’hôtel !

Nous avons aimé le fait qu’il soit sur les hauteurs de Monterosso donc avec une VUE MAGNIFIQUE sur les Cinq Terres. Nous avons apprécié la facilité pour se rendre au centre : des navettes disponibles toutes les heures.

Pas très bien insonorisé : dans la chambre, nous entendions les gens marcher et parler dans le couloir.

Uitstekend hotel met uitgebreid ontbijt.

Verzorgde kamers met uitgebreid ontbijt. Pendelbus rijdt elk uur naar het centrum van Monterosso. Bijzonder mooi uitzicht over de zee en cinque Terre.

Moeilijk bereikbaar met auto, maar die heb je daarna niet meer nodig. Pendelbusje lost dit op.

The location was beautiful! Our balcony was lovely and the breakfast was enjoyable. The shuttle to and from town was helpful as the walk is too steep.

Breakfast was great. The location of the hotel was great. The view from the front of the hotel was marvelous and access via shuttle van to and from town was great as well.

We booked the hotel through booking.com and because of that we were told we did not have availability to a room with a view of the sea, which is exactly what we wanted. We had a garden view with a nice patio, which was very pretty, but as I said, we wanted to sea view. We are an older couple and would’ve enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking out at the ocean.

Disappointing Despite The View

The regular mini bus service, which takes you into the town. Friendly mini bus driver. The views from the location are beautiful.

The reception staff are universally indifferent unless you are German speaking. We obseved this and sadly experienced it. They dont appear to like clients. The breakfast service is poor. Bland offering, which offers poor value for money. The rooms are dated and awkward. Despite being refurbished Driving up the single, track road up and down to the village is extremely unpleasant. If you meet a vehicle going in the opposite direction, you simply have no choice but to reverse down or up a long, narrow road. We saw many guests found this very stressful.

We had a room with a balcony and sea view, the hotel is perched on top of a hill which provides a fantastic vista during the day and the evening

The hotel is one of the highest in the village and the road leading up to it is very steep, however an hourly shuttle bus is provided free of charge from the village to the hotel and visa versa.

Quiet location offers relief from the crowds.

Clean modern and well appointed hotel. Located away from town up in the mountains. Quiet with cool mountain breezes were wonderful. Staff were very helpful offering assistance and hospitality.

Location on the mountain requires use of a shuttle to get to town and restaurants. We liked the separation from crowded town but shuttle was busy with other hotels so waiting 1 hour during peak travel was not ideal.

Everything from stepping off the shuttle (which was always on time) to our departure. The view was breath taking from the hotel and our sea view room (that's the main reason we booked) was just perfect.

La propreté irréprochable, l’amabilité du personnel et sa maîtrise suffisante du français pour se passer d’un traducteur, le confort, comme son nom l’indique la vue imprenable et la navette A/R régulière qui vous descend et vous ramène de ville

Ce n’est pas que nous n’avons pas aimé, mais il manque un restaurant dans l’hôtel (essentiellement pour le dîner)

Wonderful stay with spectacular view of the 5 villages.

We loved the spectacular view of the 5 towns from the room with balcony (!); the beautifully kept property outside, plants, trees, flowers; romantic sitting areas (covered), lounge-chairs to soak in the sun while watching the beaches from above..; a ping-pong-table; the hourly shuttle-service to and from the village (could be more frequent, but one adjusts to that schedule easily); excellent breakfast; the helpful staff; the lasagna and pasta-meals available at the bar late at night; lounge-room/library with nice antiques and a desk to write postcards..; availability of beach-towels. Our room and bathroom were newly and renovated, simple, yet functional, with an ‘italian’ feel and done with quality-materials.

Our room should have : 1) A wall-hooks for coats and some rack. 2) A shelf/surface for toiletries in the bathroom - I had to keep my toiletries in the bidet… not an ideal situation!

Salle de bain pas très grande et pas très moderne par rapport à la chambre avec seulement une cabine de douche ( ou est la douche a l'italienne) Vue de notre chambre coté jardin collé a la colline donc pas top la vue Navette pas adaptée au nombre de personne présente a l'hôtel avec des rotation toutes les heures ( pas pratique) et de plus retour maxi a 22h30 sinon pas de navette pour rentrer donc difficile de sortir après 22h30 Pas de restauration le soir seulement des pizzas congelé a 10€
