Excellent stay and excellent host

Nice central location, that has beautiful views of Monterosso beach. The host is very helpful and accomodating, providing yoghurt, granola, croissants, juice, etc for breakfast each morning. Room comfortable and clean. Could not recommend more.

There is quite a lot of stairs leading up to the property that was quite a workout. For us it wasn’t an issue but would consider if mobility is limited!

My Cinque Terre stay

Cherries picked me up at the train station. It was huge because her home is up a steep hill. The room and bath were clean and nice. The view was wonderful from my room. When I asked her fir anything, she always went 110% to help me. I would definitely come back!

Amazing stay in Monterosso

The room was extremely clean. The lady offered to pick us up from the station, which was very kind and helpful. We were lucky we got a room with a view to the sea, and this was amazing! There were also some food and coffee for breakfast, which made the stay even better.

Located off the main promenade was ideal as it was nice and quiet. We were luck to have a room with a sea view, which was spectacular. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Lovely Stay

Everyone was absolutely lovely, picked us up and dropped us off to the station as we had a bit of luggage. Cleaner came through everyday and communication was excellent. Also just a 5-10 minute walk down the street to the beach. View is gorgeous as well :)

We loved the stay as it was fantastic value and very comfortable.

Lovely room with balcony. Spacious, very clean. Aircon worked a treat as the weather was very hot. Breakfast was not included in booking but host provides cereal, packet croissants, fruit juice, yogurt and milk which was a lovely surprise. The host, Cherry, was lovely and very responsive.

It wasn’t a problem for us but there are many stairs to get to the room from the street, so not for those who don’t like stairs.

We had a great time here

The hostess is wonderful and so kind. The room was very comfortable and spacious. the patio is a nice bonus. It’s way up on a hill so she picks you up and drops you off near the train station. I don’t know if she always does this but she provided us with water, fruit, pastries and some other items. She also did us a huge favor and we so appreciated it!!

There are 187 stairs to climb to get to the front door! Whew!

Lovely accommodation with free breakfast centrally located!

My accommodation was swapped to Affittacamere Monterosso 5 Terre in the old part of town which felt like an upgrade to me! Fantastic location, right off the main strip, easy access, lovely spacious room with an outdoor eating area. The accommodation was split level, which I loved - I had an upstairs area as my bedroom, and then a whole downstairs section for a table, couch, fridge etc. Cherry provided a free breakfast every morning which was delicious! Toast, eggs, sweet pastries, fresh fruit, cheese, preserved meats, cereal, yoghurt, juice, coffee. Was a really special place to stay, strongly recommend!

One of the best holiday stays i've ever had

Truly fantastic place, amazing and very helpful host that picked us up from the station and drove us up to the station. Local products offered for free as breakfast. There is really nothing that could have been done better. If you are able to climb those 170 stairs then this place has everything you need for holiday in Monterosso.

Wi-Fi in some rooms has weaker signal for older phones (for me it was fine but my partner had issues with disconnecting) but host offered another room to us so that is not a real problem. Also the place is really high up so it's obvious there could be some problems with wi-fi signal

Monterosso apartment

Lovely view from little balcony. Clean. Quiet. Friendly hostess. Lots of fruit provided and some fridge items (yoghurt, juice, water).

We were given a heads up regarding lots of steps. And yes, there are many! So you need to be prepared to arrange your day around how many times you want to do those steps.

The service of carrying guests luggage from the train station to the hotel and plenty of free food (drink and fruit). The view from the room is amazing. We got a room with balcony overlooking the hills and sea. Cherry is a really nice host!

Great location, close to downtown but quiet and had a balcony so didn’t feel closed in. There are steps up but well worth the price for as close as we were. Cherry was great, and picking us up on arrival and dropping us off when leaving was a huge bonus!

Literally the best

Cherry was an incredible host and the rooms are so nice! Very spacious so you can comfortably move around even with luggage out. The washroom was very big and clean. There was even complimentary snacks, juice, tea, and water for us which was amazing. It felt like a 5-star hotel experience. If you're considering a stay in the Cinque Terre area you should definitely stay here and then just ferry/train around Cinque Terre.

There are a lot of stairs to get to the top BUT my partner and I had just finished a 7 hour hike along the Blue Trail Hike and the stairs were not bad at all. So definitely not a problem unless you actually can't climb stairs

Hostess was AMAZING. Provided information support well before our arrival including how to book trains from Venice to Monterosso and from there to Florence after our stay. She anticipated every need before we even asked (like steamed milk for my cappuccino and extra milk in my room ) ! and checked on us daily to see if everything was to our liking. She even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. One of our requests was sunshine and I swear she got it for us! The breakfast was amazing and as much as you wanted to eat, along with various "treats" left out during the day.

Yes, there are many many steps straight up to the residence which initially caused me some concern. However, these steps end up being nothing after you go for your various hikes in the area and there is a roadway that you can walk down if you decide not to use the steps. Plus, if they can be too much of a challenge I am sure she will assist.

Exceptional

The location was very close to everything but be prepared to walk the 176 steps up from the village to your room. It was well worth it for us. Our host met us at the train so we didn’t have to haul our luggage up and also drove us back the day we were leaving. She provided a breakfast and two days we enjoyed her homemade chocolate and plain coffee cake. It was delicious. She provided lots of options for breakfast and she popped by to make sure everything was going well. The rooms were cleaned daily. She was friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place.

A little corner in heaven

Cherry is a top host, efficient, very attentive and service-minded. We stayed in the Vernazza room, cozy and with an amazing view. The breakfast is also good

If you don't like stairs, it can be little tough to walk back from town, but the way up is so nice that I would say it is part of the overall experience.

Beautiful view and balcony, clean room with all the amenities you need - fridge, space for suitcases, indoor and outdoor dining area, clothing rack. Bathroom was basic but clean. Cherry was very responsive and helpful with any issues and was kind to pick us up and drop us off from train station!

Must be in good shape to handle all 170 stairs to come or go from the place - but view was worth it! Can get to anywhere in Monterosso in less than 20 minutes and we went all the way to hiking trail and inside old town just from walking, but need comfortable shoes. Bathroom plumbing is as expected in an older building so be aware.

There a lot of stairs (178) to the place but it was lit up at night. Cherry provided wonderful directions to reach the room and unload our luggage so we didn’t have to use the stairs. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the sea side

We had a lovely stay in the apartment!

Cherry (the host) is a very kind and hospitable person. She offered to pick us up from the station and to help us with the luggage. The breakfast was delicious (especially home-made cakes). The view from the room is really beautiful. If you want to taste Italian hospitality this is your go to address.

The best!

I loved everything! I went Monterosso with three friends, and met the owner Cherry, who take us by car from the station to the accommodation, and she is very kind, very nice! We will back for sure, I have no words to describe the only one night and the reception we had by Cherry, who treated us very very well! I recommend to come with friends, with family and children!
