Delightful stay in beautiful Monterosso

Extra nice hosts, comfortable large bed, refrigerator stocked with drinks and nice wine, close to restaurants and shops. All liked having an electric hot water heater. Plus - your own private clothesline and a super clean environment.

Everything was perfect. The only small thing is it got a little bit noisy on the weekend. This has nothing to do with this fine establishment but please avoid going to the shop at the bottom of the hill across from the owner’s restaurant that sells scarves and 50% off “sterling” jewelry. The older woman that runs this place is dishonest and violent. I purchased an item from her that she told me was marked sterling but it wasn’t true. Another vendor in town told me the pendant I purchased was not sterling, which is what I suspected. That same day, I asked her if I could exchange it for something else and she screamed at me and began to punch and hit me. She told me to leave and come back after she was closed for the day. There is no store name and she doesn’t give receipts. If you see something that you love, just make sure it is properly marked 925. Many items that she sells are not real sterling and are not marked even though she insists that everything she sells is.

The location is perfect. A short 10 minute walk from the Monterosso train station. The owners Moreno and his wife are very attentive to the need of their guests and very friendly. They also own a restaurant 10 steps from the unit so always available to answer any questions.

A very relaxing stay in the old town of Monterosso.

Moreno and Sabrina were wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed our stay at their property. The unit was very clean and quiet. Moreno is a great chef and we enjoyed dining at their restaurant twice during our stay. They also comped our house wine while dining with them.

Everything was great about this property, the room was great, the location was superb, the host and his wife were lovely and they run the restaurant below the rooms and it is some of the best food I have ever had. I will definitely stay there again.

Great Stay in Monterosso

Moreno received us with open arms. Gave us good recommendations and help us with reservations for dinner. The room made you feel like you were at home away from home. If I return to Monterosso, I will stay in Pertre di Mare. Also you can't miss a meal at the restaurant next door!!

Helpful host that was close to the room to help with checkin. Very nice room. Stocked refrigerator. We read a review that mentioned street noise. Close the shutters and it will be quiet.

Perfect location and great value for a quick stay in Monterosso

Great value for the price. The location was great. It's in the center of the old town, so there were plenty of food and drink options nearby. Everything was 1-2 minutes walking. The host was nice and attentive to all our needs. It's everything we needed for our stay in Cinque Terre.

There was some noise at night, but that didn't really bother us because we knew the location would be in a popular area. I prefer softer beds, so the bed was a bit too stiff for me. However, it wasn't a deal breaker and I was able to sleep through the night.

Highly Recommend - Very Genuine

The manager went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Location & room size were great (not to far up the hill-easy access). His restaurant food delicious. Even a free beer & a wine in the fridge for us. Free breakfast was outstanding.

A lovely oasis

Fantastic location for shopping, restaurants and the beach - really right in the heart of Old Town. Moreno and Sabrina were so gracious and generous. It helped that they own a scrumptious restaurant practically attached to the apartment! It was so convenient to dash to the apartment in the heat of the day to freshen up and then venture out to the next adventure.

The apartment could use more hooks for hanging wet beach towels and swim suits.

Friendly, Spotless, Comfortable, Excellent Value & Location!

The warm welcome by the owner, Marino, was greatly appreciated. He kindly made restaurant reservations for us at the Michelin starred L’Ancora Della Tortuga. The room is charming, comfortable, & well-appointed. The complimentary wine, soft drinks, beer, & water is above & beyond expectations. The bed & linens are comfy; the shower optimum as were the amenities. The strong WIFI is terrific. Don’t miss eating at Marino and his wife’s restaurant, San Martino Gastronomia, across the street, absolutely delicious. And the breakfast served at a near by cafe, Enoteca Internazionale, is fantastic. The cappuccinos are the best as are the croissants, fresh seeded black bread toasted with butter and jam and ham & cheese. The location of Pierre di Mare is central in town for access to all sites and walks and not too many steps to the room! Marino was always available for assistance with questions & local guidance. He & his wife even came at check out to help with our luggage. Thank you for special memories!!

Great place and kind people

Our host picked us up from the train station and shuttled my luggage to the Bnb. Nice and helpful people and the bnb looks great, is clean and spacious. It also has the facilities you need for few days like shampoo and a beer.

Great location - right in the heart of old Monterossa. Windows and shutters closed so no noise carried into room. Air conditioning worked well. Restaurant under had the best seafood spaghetti that we could find! Hosts spoke excellent English and gave great hiking advice. Highly recommend this property!

La stanza era pulitissima e ordinata al momento del nostro arrivo ed è esattamente come nelle foto. Si trova in una posizione strategica da cui è facilissimo arrivare alla spiaggia e alla stazione di Monterosso. I proprietari sono, inoltre, gentilissimi e simpatici. Siamo estremamente soddisfatti. Der Hotelbesitzer und seine Frau betreiben gegenüber des 2-Zimmer-Hotels ein gemütliches Restaurant. Hier werden leckere Gerichte und Getränke zu fairen Preisen angeboten. Das Paar ist sehr freundlich und liebevoll zu seinen Gästen.

Fantastische kamer in een mooi, gezellig straatje in het oude centrum van Monterosso.

Een hele ruime kamer met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt, waaronder airco, waterkoker en een badkamer met een goede douche. Midden tussen de lokale restaurantjes en winkeltjes en op loopafstand van het strand. Heerlijk gegeten bij de vriendelijke, gastvrije eigenaar van het hotel in het ondergelegen restaurant. Elke dag vers bereide, heerlijke Italiaanse streekgerechten.

Er viel mij niets tegen.
