Federica was perfect. We arrived later than we announced, but she waited for us and was very helpful. The room was nice, clean and cosy. Very close to the town center. We definitely recommend the accomodation to other travellers.

fabulous hotel room, in lovely building - room stayed cool all the time and the terrace on the room was lovely. the room had a fridge and every essential item was provided including lots of towels and a beach towel

Spacious, clean bright room in thr heart of Montorosso

my two friends and I rented this property and it was really nice to have our own rooms. The rooms were very spacious, exceptionally cleaned every day and nice espresso pod machine in room and little fridge which was very handy. It was right in the centre of town so easy to access and close to the train station and beaches. Plenty restaurants in the area.

The best location in Monterosso

Il Timone is conveniently located in the heart of Monterosso; an easy, relatively flat walk from the train station, but far enough away from the line that we couldn’t hear the trains go by. The restaurants and shops are also close, but far enough down the street that the noise doesn’t carry to the hotel. The host, Federica is friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with a balcony over the street.

It was a pleasant holiday. The host is as helpful as the community in general. People are kind, there are lots of restaurants and cafés, and prices are reasonable. It’s located in the historic part of the city, where all the good restaurants and mini markets are. However, the best part to sea bathing is passing Il Gigante Bagni. If you, like me, has not booked an “ombrelone” in advance, you can also enjoy the beach at some designated spots between the private “Bagni”.

It was not a problem for me, but be aware that you have to climb the stairs to the first floor.
