This property is very well situated. The walk up to the villa from the main street is very peaceful. Monterosso and this villa in particular are the perfect home base for your visit to the Cinque Terre. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely stay and felt very welcome. Was very happy to be upgraded from single to double bed. Breakfast was lovely and it was nice area to eat outside. Very convenient location short walk to station which made it manageable. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly! An absolutely beautiful location and a very easy walk to the old town, waterfront etc. The shower was cold and the wifi was poor. But overall it was a nice stay.

The grounds were poorly kept with no attempt make it better or welcoming. The boss was surly. The staff serving coffee and breakfast were very nice and pleasant. The wifi stopped at 10;00 pm, room safe didn't lock. Not recommended if you have mobility issues. Would never recommend this accommodation.

This family owns a Villa, which is located just two blocks from the Beach. The area is super safe, and the Villa is beautiful. The Room was spotless, and the staff was super cordial. The Owner and his 2 children were very friendly and accommodating at all times, like. I highly suggest yoy to stay here!!

If other hotels had been available, we absolutely would not have stayed here. The room was unlivable — there was visible mold throughout, including in the air vents, and the entire space smelled strongly of mildew. It felt unsafe to breathe, let alone sleep in. We raised our concerns directly with the owner but were refused a refund, despite the clear health and cleanliness issues. We reached out to Expedia for help, but the property wouldn’t budge. Very disappointed by both the condition of the room and the lack of accountability. I would not recommend staying here.

Hotel is on a hill making it slightly inconvenient to get to if you have a lot of luggage. The room also had some bugs and ants. However, staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room with balcony offered a lovely, beautiful view of the seaside.

Villa Acini is about 5 minutes’ away from the train station. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the center of town, as you walk along the beach boardwalk. I would recommend Villa Acini as it was quiet, safe, easily accessible and clean. The breakfast buffet is beautiful and varied, but arrive early as there are limited number of tables indoors (many outdoor tables available when it is not rainy). Only complaint is that the wifi was inconsistent and appear to turn off at times. Otherwise, we would return to the Villa .

Very nice house with friendly and helpful staff. Its a up hill walk of a medium distance. A bit difficult if you have baggage. Breakfast is not included. But just a 5 minute walk to the beach and Monterroso's esplanade. Old town is about 15 minutes walk along the sea. Plenty of eateries starting from the moment you come down the hill.

Great place to stay, awesome breakfast! The walk up the hill was a slight challenge… but good training for the rest of the walking in Cinque Terre. Monterosso al Mare was a wonderful spot. The Villa Accini was close to everything in town, including the train station (walking distance) for access to the rest of Cinque Terre. Enjoyed our stay!!! ❤️

1) Know ahead of time that the entrance to the hotel is up a very dark driveway that lacks large obvious signage. If you're arriving for the first time after dark and in the rain as I was, it will help knowing that you're on a bit of a treasure hunt! 2) The staff, and especially the shy but charming Caesar, were all very friendly and helpful. 3) It would be a joy to stay here in high season; a very short walk to the beach, with a really lovely terrace that it would be so easy to spend mornings and evenings on. 4) The optional breakfast is well-worth it! The selections were many, and the staff attending to guests was very warm and friendly! 5) I stayed 2 nights in a room on the first floor, just off the reception area. It was large enough for a solo traveler; including a wardrobe and small desk. The bed was generally comfortable, but very badly needed to be flipped and rotated; there was a notable indent on the most accessible side of the mattress. 6) The room was clean, but in need of refreshing. All seaside accommodations are faced with the troubles that come with constant humidity. My stay was at the end of the season, so I would hope that during the winter months, attention would be given to some calking in the bathroom that needed replacement, as well as a number of places in the room where the paint had become stained and moldy.

The hotel is very close to the train station in Monterosso!

Hotel is walkable distance from train station and main shopping areas in Monterosso. They keep the installation very clean. Rooms need some maintenance and replace beds, quite noisy when you move. We tried to use AC, but apparently this option is not available after summer (we traveled last week of October), we opened the windows and we had a good fresh air, only disadvantage you can hear trains passing frequently. We liked cinque terre, I believe Monterosso is the best town to stay.

Our stay at Villa Acini was hindered by a few rather unfortunate items. When we arrived for a our 3 night stay, the wifi was not working and it was not available until our 3rd day. We noticed that the climate control in our room was not functioning and the room got quite hot. Soap in the bathroom was dishsoap for both the sink and shower no shampoo was offered. Finally our shower head exploded as it was damaged since the beginning of our stay and we had to wait for it to be repaired before we could shower again. The saving grace here was the staff that attended to our needs and ensured we were comfortable depsite the shortfalls of the property. Be careful when walking up the long driveway at night as it is not well lit and quite dangerous if it has rained. P.s, there is no staff present overnight.

Staff and service were mostly excellent. Location is prefect, near the train station and near everything in town. However, our beds were not properly prepared and i ended up sleeping on an uncomfortable cot. Also, our television did not work at all. That's the reason for a less than perfect review
