Da wir wenig Zeit in der Unterkunft verbracht haben, war es in Ordnung. Durch die genannten Umstände jedoch eben auch ni

Die Unterkunft war praktisch eingerichtet, alles war sauber und relativ neu.

Leider war das Zimmer extrem hellhörig. Die Nachbarn im anschließenden Apartment konnte man bei jeder Unterhaltung verstehen. Auch welche Fernsehsendung gesehen wurde und ob gerade geduscht wurde. Der Balkon ist zwar sehr nett, leider aber auch nicht zu benutzen, um abends dort zu sitzen. Die dort angebrachte Wärmepumpe ist laut und bläst kalte Luft auf den Sitzplatz.

No me gustó que hubiera tanta escalera y no haya nadie para ayudarnos con las maletas (solo creo que deberían aclararlo). El servicio de limpieza no nos renovó productos de aseo y tampoco lavó las tazas.

Very nice little room with a great view!

Very nice little room! We were traveling as a group of 6 & this was the perfect spot. The building consists of 6 guest rooms, so our group had half of the building. The rooftop was a really good hangout spot with an awesome view. The rooms are so nice & clean with a great little bathroom. All of the steps leading to it were really only a problem when we were taking our luggage up, lol. I would definitely book this place again!

Vor allem in Relation zu den anderen Unterkünften war das Zimmer total schön und liebevoll eingerichtet.

Die Aussicht war schön und die Unterkunft genau das was wir gesucht hatten. Sehr zentral und sauber. Jeden Tag wurde außerdem das Zimmer gereinigt.

Es war uns zwar bewusst, dass es einige Stufen gibt, allerdings sollte einem bewusst sein, dass diese nicht für jede Person machbar sind. Für uns war es allerdings gut zu schaffen.

Problème d'insonorisation on a eu des voisins de chambre avec un petite fille, extrêmement bruyantes, il était presque minuit et ils parlaient très fort surtout la petite. Le lit était très confortable mais mes draps étaient un peu rêches.

Un cuarto amplio y limpio, con un bellísimo balcón donde se puede tomar fotos espectaculares. Muy cerca a todo (restaurantes, negocios y playa), especialmente a la estación del tren (pocos pasos)

El único detalle son las escaleras para llegar al cuarto, pero viéndolo de otro ángulo, vale la pena subirlas para poder tener una vista espectacular

Le logement est très bien placé dans monterosso et est au calme. La terrasse rooftop offre une belle vue.

Prima di metterci a letto, ho tirato su le coperte… non l’avessi maj fatto, capelli e peli da ogni parte… pure le tazze non erano lavate… poi figuriamoci se manca la pulizia, aver avuto cialda per la macchinetta del caffe, sarebbe stato un po un paradosso… sconsigliato

Vi var meget imponerede over Monterosso, som er en enormt smuk og romantisk by.

Lejligheden ligger meget centralt i den smukke by Monterosso med flot udsigt over bjerge og hav og tæt på restauranter og strand. Der er en lille have man kan sidde i.

Der er mange trapper op til lejligheden, og det gør at man ikke bare lige går ned i byen eller til stranden og mere end højst nødvendigt, det er lidt hæmmende og hårdt. Solstolene ved stranden skal bookes enten dagen før eller tidligt om morgenen når de åbner. Der er mange turister.

Bij het boeken mag er wel vermeld worden dat er heel veel trappen zijn om bij de accommodatie te komen. Dit was met koffers bijna niet te doen. Als we dit vooraf hadden geweten dan hadden we wellicht een andere accommodatie geboekt.

A wonderful stay - recommend

We LOVED our stay in Monterosso! The area is stunning, our room was open and clean. We also enjoyed sitting on the rooftop that looks over the ocean and town. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable! Of course be aware of the stairs up to the rooms, we had backpacks which was ok and you get used to the walks up and down.

Whilst it isn’t the property’s fault, I was scammed via the chat function on the booking.com app with this property months prior to arriving. AGAIN it isn’t the property’s fault, it is something to be aware of if it’s a common issue with this property.

Det var rolig og lå utmerket til. 125 trappetrinn opp på utsiden. Fint for oss med litt ekstra trening som skulle ut å Cinque Terre.

Det var litt lytt mellom rommene. Det bodde noen norske på rommet ved siden av og vi hørte godt hva de sa.

A beautiful location overshadowed by poor organisation

Monterosso al Mare is absolutely stunning—its dramatic cliffs, vibrant streets, and beautiful beaches made our visit to Cinque Terre truly memorable. The property’s location on a hill offers impressive views and a quiet atmosphere, away from the busier parts of town. Despite the challenges we faced with the accommodation, we still managed to enjoy our stay overall thanks to the charm of the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, our experience with the accommodation itself was filled with unexpected and frustrating issues. The self check-in process failed as the key was missing, which left us stranded after climbing many stairs with our luggage. After several back-and-forth messages, we were instructed to retrieve a spare key from a cleaner's storage area, where I was badly bitten by mosquitoes—and the key led us to the wrong room, which was already occupied. When we finally accessed the correct “garden room,” it was dark, much smaller, and significantly less appealing than the sea view apartment. The following day, despite our explicit request not to have our room cleaned, staff entered anyway and left the room unlocked all day with the key left in the door, raising serious safety concerns. On top of that, the lack of soundproofing made it difficult to rest at night. While the property itself isn’t inherently bad, the disorganized administration, lack of attention to guest requests, and safety issues were unacceptable and need serious improvement.

Great but damn those stairs

The view from the rooftop was amazing. The space was a nice one room and one bathroom facility, and to my surprise we had cleaners come everyday. Right in the center of Monterosso, a short walk from the old town and new town.

You must be ready to walk about 100 steps up a hill to reach your room, so pack light or lose a wheel on your suitcase as I did haha.

Everything was great- but do be aware there are a lot of steps to get there. If you have mobility issues or struggle walking up stairs this could be tough for you, especially if you have heavy suitcases. We had backpacks so it was fine

Excellent place to stay in a beautiful part of the country.

Location was great as it was accessed from the Main Street right by the beach and only a few minutes walk from the train station. I didn’t give full marks because it was 125 steps up from the street to the room. For us it was fine because we’re healthy and fit and only do the stairs a few times each day. We had dinner at both of the restaurants right outside the door and they were both excellent as was the place where we ate in the old town. Registration contact was very helpful and responsive. Cleaning staff was very thorough, even refilling the espresso machine with water each day!

Nothing not to like. Steps as mentioned were an extra opportunity for practice for the local hikes.

Nice view in the morning. They made our bed and changed towels every day. Good bed, good shower.

It was not easily accessible to go during the day due to its location being high up. The room itself was tiny and basic There was nowhere to hang clothes to dry in the balcony.

Everyone has already mentioned the steps, they are plentiful and a little uneven so not great for anyone with mobility issues, heavy luggage or children! Unfortunately the cleaner kept leaving our balcony door open despite repeated requests not to which led to geckos in our room... And luggage! Left a very polite note again asking for it to be left closed, and received a rude note in return about sand in the shower... For a beachside apartment!!! Unfortunate as the other staff we encountered we were lovely especially Linda!

DON'T GO THERE!!! IT'S A RIP OFF!

Katastrophal. Gebucht haben wir ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Was wir erhalten haben, war ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Eisenbahntunnel. Das Haus befindet sich direkt über einem weiteren Tunnel. Entsprechend vibriert das Apartment bei jeder Zugdurchfahrt. Tag und Nacht. Die Wände in Zimmer und Bad sind von Schimmel befallen. Entsprechend stinkt es. Die Übertünchung mit Duftstäbchen macht das Ganze noch schlimmer. Der Raum verfügt nur über eine Glastüre. Weitere Fenster gibt es keine. Das Nebenapartment ist einzig durch eine Zimmertüre abgetrennt. Entsprechend ist es ringhörig. Der Weg zum Apartment führt über rund 160 Stufen und ist gefährlich. Meine Partnerin hat auf den glatten, schiefen Treppenstufen einen Misstritt gemacht und sich verletzt (sie ist Trainerin und top fit). Wer nicht trittsicher ist, kann das Apartment nicht erreichen. Das Reinigungspersonal hat Morcheln, die wir gesammelt und im Bad auf Taschentüchern ausgelegt haben, weggeworfen. Wir haben 6 Nächte gebucht und sind nach der ersten Nacht wieder abgereist. Von einer Rückerstattung wollten die Besitzer nichts wissen. @booking: wir erwarten, dass unser Geld zurückerstattet wird.

L’emplacement était très agréable, à 2 pas de la gare. Cependant, nous avons été déçus de la chambre. Nous avons eu de l’eau chaude durant 1 journée, puis de l’eau froide pendant 2 jours. Il faisait froid et humide, nos vêtements n’ont pas pu sécher en 2 jours.

Lindo lugar pero las escaleras son un tema

La habitación es linda, estaba limpia y cómoda pero escogí una que decía con vista al mar y la verdad es que se veía muy poquito porque había un árbol que tapaba toda la vista. No me gustó la actitud de la anfitriona o la persona del whapp, nos pareció un poco ruda al momento de hacer el check in. Las indicaciones nos las enviaron ya estando ahí después de buscar y buscar y preguntar a dónde era el sitio; a diferencia de los otros hoteles que te envían la info completa e indicaciones por el mensaje de booking. Habían 2 personas adultas con la misma situación muy perdidos también como nosotras. El lugar está subiendo 120 escaleras, aunque no son peligrosas, tener equipaje y subirlas y bajar muchas veces no es tan fácil. La verdad es que no lo recomiendo porque las escaleras realmente son un dolor de cabeza después de haberlas subido un par de veces. Ha sido lo que más nos ha molestado de la estancia, no pensamos que iba a ser la gran cosa por eso a pesar de los comentarios lo escogimos y si que es la gran cosa las escaleras..
