A nice, convenient place to stay while exploring Cinque Terre.

Great location by the train station, beach, and restaurants. Friendly check in.

A fair amount of stairs to our room. Didn’t bother us but mentioning it as people who may have trouble with stairs may want to avoid.

5* for Cinque Terra

Location, view, nice adjoining breakfast area. The staff were very helpful in carrying our suitcases up to our and at the of our stay back to car. We were very luckier to get a private parking space right next to the building for a reasonable amount ($18 per night). Breakfast was very nice with very fresh pastries and local yogurt plus other things.

The room was great and had a small balcony to enjoy Monterosso. Great location close to the station and restaurants.

87 steps to get to your room. Worth it for the fantastic views. It was a little difficult to find, but Christin’s and her family were very helpful,

Amazing property.

Loved the location of the property, it was so close to the beach and to the old town. The room was spacious enough and had a great balcony which overlooked the ocean. Staff were so friendly and provided a small spread for breakfast time which was great. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Great locations with magnificent sea views, clean rooms and incredible staff.

Having breakfast ready every morning was great. Hot coffee, croissants, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs and more. The shared eating area was always very clean. We loved the location. So close to the beach.

A lift would have been nice. But after a few days, we got used to climbing up all those steps to our room and enjoyed the magnificent sea view. The staff carried our luggage to our rooms which was much appreciated.

Very nice room but a lot of stairs to get to it!

The room - we had the Red Room - is really nice with good views and a small balcony with a table, and the breakfast is fine. The big problem is the large number of stairs - 2 flights outside and Il Sogno is on the 4th floor of the building. To be fair, I don’t think there are many places in Monterosso with elevators - maybe some of the hotels - but there is no warning about this situation and if you are not comfortable with, or capable of, carrying your luggage up and down all those stairs then Il Sogno is probably not for you.

Perfect Monterosso stay

Perfect location for Monterosso, only a few min. Walk to the beach. Wonderful little common area for breakfast and aperitivos. Everything you need for a short stay is included in the room.

Fantastic Place

Everything was amazing, super comfy beds, very clean, great location, great views. They had a large breakfast available. We really felt great about the experience.

There are a good number of stairs to walk up to get to it. It didn't bother us but I could see it being a problem for someone with mobility issues.

Disappointing and not worth the money

The Location of the apartment, that is was totally new and unused

On the confirmation is written that there is a privat beach- it’s not. Also that breakfast buffet is included and there was just 4 muffins on the 1 day and in the second they after complaining they put again some muffins. Minibar was included but not refilled. There is no privat parking as mentioned. The room is air conditioned but they leave your windows open after cleaning, so we had 30 degrees in the room. The lady said that it’s not ok to leave the A/C on all day. There is no reception and no sign for the place so you have to call to get into the room. There are no informations given at all.

Une très belle découverte.

Tres bel aménagement moderne de la chambre et de l’espace petit déjeuner avec une chouette vue sur la mer. Les propriétaires sont plus que chaleureux.

C’est connu mais c’était au 3ieme étage après une première série d’escaliers. Le tout sans ascenseur. Une bonne mise en forme.

B and B avec vue

La chambre est belle et propre. La situation sont vraiment très bien ainsi que l’accueil quand enfin vous appelez la gérante. La vue de la chambre 2 est juste magnifique.

Je pensais avoir réservé un hôtel et ce n'était pas le cas. La mention "établissement" avec le petit déjeuner, ainsi que la mention restaurant m'a induit en erreur. C'est un B and B, qui est impossible à trouver (surtout quand on cherche un hôtel). C'est un appartement découpé avec 3 chambres. Même le restaurant sous l'immeuble n'a pas pu me renseigner ! Le tarif aurait été correct pour une infrastructure hôtelière, mais trop chère pour un B and B. Confort du lit très mou (sommier, matelas et surmatelas épais ! A 240 euros la nuit le petit déjeuner est un peu basique.

Très bien situé dans le 5 eme petit village tout en haut des 5 terres avec un parking tout près

Le climatiseur qui fait une lumière pour indiquer la température impossible de bien dormir tellement la luminosité est forte Vu qu’on est venu hors saison une petite indication sur les restaurant ouvert le soir ( au moins 1 pour le soir de notre arrive aurait été bien venu) car à part un restaurant du côté de la gare ( et une supérette et un bar mais qui ferme avant 19h) il n’y a rien d’ouvert du coup un petit message pour donner l’adresse du restaurant et explique que de l’autre côté du village on peu en trouver deux autres avec l’adresse ça aurai été bien venu C’est pas grave que beaucoup de chose soit fermé hors saison mais un coup de pouce pour trouver ceux ouvert ça serai bien venu
