Clean and cozy, but a bit unsettling for a solo traveler.

The room was very clean, which made me feel comfortable right away. I also appreciated the small fridge in the room — it was really convenient to have. Another nice touch was the simple breakfast in the morning; it wasn’t fancy, but it was good and definitely added to the experience.

As a female solo traveler, I was expecting more of a traditional setup, but this was actually a unit inside a 4-floor building that had been divided into 4–5 rooms. When I first arrived, the building felt quite empty — it seemed like the other units were unoccupied or even abandoned, which made me feel a bit unsafe at first. Also, I had a small request (a wine opener) and sent a few messages to the host, but I didn’t receive a reply. That made me a bit nervous, especially since I wasn’t sure how quickly the host would be available if anything urgent came up. To be fair, the host was very friendly in person and took the time to walk me through the room and how everything worked, but the lack of communication afterward was a bit unsettling.

Enjoyed having the little balcony. Air conditioning worked great and was quiet. Very comfy bed. Loved the breakfast snacks. Whole place was clean. Small but well organized, modern and all you need for a few nights stay! Staff very friendly and helpful too!

Maybe would be handy if there was just a small area to store luggage and an iron. But ultimately they are only small observations! We loved it

Great base in Cinque Terre for beach and all 5 towns

Great location being 3 mins walk to the beach and a little more to the station. Had a lovely welcome on arrival, room refreshed everyday, croisant and water left everyday. Great value for money considering other options around. This place was a great base for seeing all the towns or having a beach day. Felt very safe as solo traveler!

To be honest I can’t fault it! Only thing that didn’t bother me but might bother others is that you could hear the train going passed but I preferred that to it being silent.

Beautiful comfortable room easy walk to train station in the new town.

Great location, short flat walk from the train station. The host communication was excellent, allowed me to check in early to drink off my bags. Safe quiet neighborhood. The room itself was cute tastefully decorated, equipped with mini fridge and kettle. The bed felt luxurious and was super comfortable.

Nothing major but it was a little tricky to find being off the main street. I had to pull out my phone, but I got there in the end.

A bit strange overall but very helpful staff

I had assumed this was a hotel and it was very strange to be the only person there at the top of an apartment building. The entrance hall and many stairs were not what I would have planned for.

Service was great, gave me advice on restaurants and the correct way to do the hike (downhill) and he was waiting for me outside so I don’t get lost and find the place easily. What great service! AC working efficiently, clean room, perfectly located.

Great Location in Monterosso

The location is wonderful- close to everything including the beach. The apartment was modern, light & newly renovated. There was a lovely bed with nice covers & the little extra for a bottle of water and some coffee & tea available in the room.

The room was rather small so there is very little space! It is located on the top floor ( no 4 or 5) but there is no elevator, for me no problem but good for other people to know. I was asking for hosting my luggage for a few hours when hiking on the day of departure, never had an issue with this until this time where I was told it was impossible. For me this was an issue screwing a hiking day!

Run by Thiefs

The hotel is run by thiefs. I had 130 EUR that I put in a drawer. After checking out I realized that I forgot to take the money. So I called the person responsible for the place. At first they said that there was no money there. Later they said that they found some money, 40 eur only. The funny thing is that I had one note of 100 eur, one note of 20 eur, and 1 note of 10 eur. But lo and behold in the drawer there magically appeared two notes of 20 eur, which would have been impossible. I offered the hotel the possibility to make amendments by transferring me 90 eur. Which one week later they still haven't done. Thus my review. I recommend, that you avoid this place at all costs as your valuables are not safe here.

Very good value for money - excellent accommodation!

The room was extremely comfy and the bed was very big! It came with a lovely arrangement of teas,coffees and snacks (also two bottles of water which was great as Cinque Terre has a lot of steps). The lady was very welcoming and very good with communication. It is in a great location and as a female solo traveller made me feel very safe. It also has a really nice modern look with a good shower. Thank you so much!

Worked fine for a short stay.

It wasn’t very obvious from Booking description that this was a “room” in a kind of rundown apartment building, five flights of stairs up. Room and bathroom was clean but small. You could hear every noise from other rooms when guests were in residence. The owner or landlord met us with keys. We were a short distance from the beach and Main Street, which was good.

I was expecting a hotel. This was a small, private, secure room in an apartment that had been nicely renovated. The remainder of the block seemed to be private unrelated appartments. There were no facilities on site, other than what you would expect in a room. Top floor of a 3 story block, no lift. It was not a major problem, but it pays to do your research of course!

location and especially the view, having a balcony, decor and cleanliness. quiet while I was there.

kettle plug would only fit in the bathroom socket. fortunately I had a travel connector that allowed me to use in the place where it was situated. I was there for 5 nights with just 1 toilet roll provided, although there was a bidet as well. I had one set of white towels that were never changed, nor was the litter bin emptied! only saw one staff member at the time that I arrived but never saw anyone after that. lack of house keeping spoilt what was otherwise a perfect room.

It really feels like vacation

The room was clean, nicely decorated with a lovely (but tiny) balcony

It is a bit hard to find as it is located at a very narrow street close to the main street that goes along the sea front. The entrance is at the forth floor and there is not an elevator (like most of the buildings in cinque terre). Didn’t like the very early check out (10.30 am) and also the fact that check is at 13.00 but when we arrived after 13.30 our room was not ready yet. We didn’t have to wait for long (only 15min) but there is no reception so we had to wait at the stairs…Overall, very basic in what it offers
