An excellent hotel that I would recommend.

The room and entire property was clean and immaculate. The parking was easy and secure. The restaurant was very good with excellent food and good service. The location was quiet but convenient to everything. I recommend it.

A wonderful hotel with terrific staff and amenities. And so clean!

Wonderful location - quiet at night. So clean! The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options. We also ate dinner there a couple of nights and that was very good also. Truly we had a terrific stay and I am not sure when, but we will be back!

Perhaps there could be a way for the food in the warmers to be kept warm such as the eggs / bacon / beans, etc. It seemed like it was just left to cool. But truly a small thing compared to the great stay we had.

Good location, helpful staff, gardens were well kept, room and commune areas were lovely and clean. It was quiet, just off the main areas, easy to get to train station

Clean, modern but quaint, excellent location that is truly 3-4 min walk from beach. Just a 5-7 min walk from train station, Breakfast included, in a beautiful room with a view, and extensive selection. Staff super friendly and helpful. We will be back!!

Fabulous staff, location and good value

Location was fabulous. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The pool area was lovely, breakfast was great and a short stroll into old town for dinner or hopping on and off the trains to other towns was so easy. access to fabulous hiking.

Breakfast better if it started at 7 , we did a lot of hiking, it would have been great to start 30 minutes earlier.

I will recoment this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.

The Breakfast is excelent, the location very good and the staff very nice. This hotel deserves to be a four (4) stat hotel and not a three (3) star hotel. The Swiming Pool deserve a solar heting to be a bit more confortable. But that is my only remark and not a critic.

The size of the shower, but that is a detail and >I am a big person.

Good place, would stay again.

The pool was a real bonus for hot afternoons. The balcony with drying rack was useful. The room size was comfortable for two. Location was good, a tough walk from the train with luggage but worth being a block off main street and close to the beaches. Breakfast was good though redundant. Dinner in the restaurant was above expectations. The hotel was very clean and housekeeping was excellent. The price was reasonable for the area.

The staff at breakfast and around the bar could be a bit short. Didn’t ruin our stay but they could be a little more pleasant 😊. Breakfast was good but never changed for our six day stay.

Nice place, nice hotel The room was clean

A route for coming would be appreciated because i have had waste time to reach the hotel in spite of using 2 GPS (car + Waze) simultaneously. Some roads for Monterosso are closed but ignored by all GPS. After booking confirmation, I received a mail saying that the place for car is subject to availability! This will have to be highlighted prior paying, not after. I received one person-bed and no coffee boiler…reflecting the invoice, but not the description prior approval. I am 1.80m high and it’s already too much tall to sleep well in a bed for teens.

Excellent home base for visiting Cinque Terre

The breakfast was excellent, and the view from the patio each morning having breakfast was breathtaking. Staff were super helpful and attentive. Air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a savior on the hot summer evenings.

Staff is nice and helpful! Room is clean and comfortable. The best part is that it has free private parking, so you can drive to Cinque terre. Breakfast is also included. AC works well and the location is close to beach as well!

The perfect base to explore Cinqueterre.

Everything was outstanding. From the location on a property surrounded by trees, to the comfort of the rooms, to the friendliness of the staff that went above and beyond. Close to both the train station and the beach, it is the perfect hub to either explore every corner of the Cinqueterre or just stay in town lounging by the sea. The restaurant is fabulous and incredibly well priced. Would return in a heartbeat!

This is a beautiful property a v short walk to the beach and everything Monterosso has to offer. The rooms are well presented and the entire property was clean and grounds beautiful tranquil. The staff were v friendly and helpful, breakfast superb.

Our room was perfect for our needs. The hotel was lovely with really helpful friendly staff and the grounds were beautiful. Yummy breakfast buffet.

Walking the trails of the Cinque Terre

Beautiful hotel in Monterosso al Mare and just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. We had a great stay at this hotel, very helpful and friendly staff and a lovely room with a spacious balcony. Breakfast was good there was plenty of choice. Great location for walking the Cinque Terre, we will definitely return.

Great little peaceful oasis in middle of the busy Monterosso

The staff was kind and very helpful, spoke good english and was ensuring we are comfortable. The location is amazing, like a little oasis tucked away from the busy Monterosso streets. Loved the location, good for relaxing a bit in middle of exploring the Cinque Terre. Would recommend. Also, surprisingly, the drinks and similar were a bit cheaper than elsewhere in the area!

I think this goes more to the location than this hotel. It is quite expensive, but the price of Hotel Villa Adriana is cheaper or similar with others in the area. I can't say it is a negative feedback towards the hotel, as Cinque Terre is not the cheapest location to stay at.

Great room with stunning view, very good location, very hospitable and helpfull staff. I would recommend to anyone.

You can hear the train a little but it did not bother me. I slept just fine and I am a light sleeper.

A no frills stay that was clean, comfortable, and easy to get to!

Easy to get to, and minimal stairs which I learned is rare in Cinque Terre! While there were no frills, the place was clean and comfortable and all I needed for a great stay in Cinque Terre. The staff were very friendly!

Very disappointed, except for the very good reception staff.

Sorry nothing to like except their reception staff who were very helpful and understanding of the situation we found ourselves in with the stairs and the very steep driveway up to the hotel . Which was not properly represented in the hotel photos on the website booking page.

The steep driveway and steep stairs. The very old bedrooms and beds. The crucifix above the bedroom door was creepy. The dinner was very poor and very tasteless and the dining room had no atmosphere. It felt like a very run down and tidied retirement home. No glasses or kettle or tea facilities in the room, not even tissues. Towels very old and thin. The bedroom needs redecorating and new furniture.

I cannot begin to explain how amazing my stay here was. Everything from staff, to room, to the cleanliness of the entire hotel, to the location, the views, the breakfast were excellent! I don’t write reviews often, or at all. I also did not want to write this one to gate keep this property😅 But they deserve the recognition. Book it with your eyes closed.
