Super thin walls. We could hear every cough, snore, utensils of the rooms next door. It also needs a better description on how to locate the property. Pictures would be helpful.

Perfect location but didn't sleep as well as we hoped due to noisy bed.

Excellent location and close proximity to good restaurants, the markets and the beach. Well appointed room with an added bonus daily servicing of the room.

It was an amazing location! so many restaurants nearby and 5 minute walk to the train station. We got clean towels and our bed made every day and even got new refreshments in the fridge every day.

Unfortunately you can hear everything single thing the room next door does/says.

Great location and very cute

Location is perfect right by the main square. The room is super cute, modern, and clean.

There is a fish market downstairs where the smell can come into the room so make sure you close the windows and you'll be fine. Side note that the actual street is not on Google maps but it is literally just off of Via Roma as the owner instructed.

Best location!!

Location!! It was perfect to walk around, go to the beach, take the train, come back to use the bathroom. Feels like you’re right in the middle of everything. But it is also quiet and comfortable. Loved the AC. We had the best time! Owner very responsive and helpful as well with recs for the area.

Couldn't have asked for better!

If only for one night the location was wonderful. The check in was so easy and the room was very nice indeed. Everything was very clean, modern up to date furnishings and attractive: ( Can't believe I said that). Had a sit down meal (cod/potatoe soup) in the plaza which was very-very good. The satff we so nice to my daughter.

Seeing google earth maps can be an issue; I had to ask around the plaza area for the exact location of the hotel.

An excellent and relaxing ovenight stay with great location.

The property is very beautiful, well localized (walking distance from train station with large luggages was easy). Odelys received us with a very warm welcome. Many restaurants nearby. Both rooms were equiped with everything needed for a great stay and beach experience. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is excellent. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, and to the train station.

The washer is not in the unit as suggested, but downstairs for community use. Items are left unattended in the washer for long periods . Once you get access, it’s great. The walls are very thin.

Warm, relaxing, convenient place to stay after a day exploring.

Clean, great location, excellent hostess, free water, soda and beer: The unit is well appointed and shower includes wash towels! Our unit automatically warms the room for cold nights and early mornings. We loved our stay in this property and highly recommend it to anyone.

Excellent location and well accommodating owner!

Great location. 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room was very clean and tidy and had all the necessary facilities. Toilet has a bidet too. Although I didn’t meet the owner, they communicated through the app really well, before and during my stay. They gave clear directions to the property and how to access it. They were very kind easily accessible through messaging.

There are no views in in my room, but its not a big deal, because the beach is a few minutes away anyway. The air conditioning also didn’t seem to work, but I never asked about it. I’m just nit-picking here, because all in all it was worthy stay!

Comfortable, spacious, and convenient location in the Cinque Terre

We rented two rooms at Marymar for two nights. What a great location! We walked our luggage from a private parking lot just north of the train station to our rooms and it was super easy. The train station was even closer. Odelys, our nice host, provided check-in details in advance, and then the day of arrival attempted connecting with us with additional information. Between our new SIM cards and driving through mountain tunnels to the Cinque Terre region, this was a bit challenging, but she was persistent and we had what we needed to access the rooms on arrival. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful, spacious, and very functional - the nicest during our several week stay in Europe. I like well lit spaces and these rooms were great. Perhaps this was an improvement following an older review's request? For those planning to do laundry; note that the laundry is a washer/dryer combo machine (Yeah for drying capability!) and is located in the entry way so it can be shared with the host. There were many wonderful locations to have breakfast, both in Monterosso and the other villages, that were both quick and reasonably priced. While I generally prefer to have breakfast on site, it was actually better in this area to not have it included. The water and other beverages Odelys stocks in the room fridges were very much appreciated!

There were only two small issues. The first was that neither my daughter and nor I could open the washer/dryer after a late night load. In the morning, we called for help and Odely's husband came on site immediately. He opened the unit w/o issue so maybe it was our error. Our room had two AC units, and the room our kids shared had one. They were very effective, cooling the rooms substaintially in the initial 20 minute run. However, we needed to turn them on every 20-30 minutes to keep the rooms cool. If we had been staying longer, we would have asked Odely's how to set the AC to avoid this.
