Our Favourite Place Yet

This place is truly special, the kind of stay that stays in your heart long after you’ve left. Of all the places we visited in Europe, this one meant the most to us. The hospitality here wasn’t just good, it was genuine, warm, and unforgettable. Our host was absolutely wonderful. He reached out before our arrival, helped us navigate last-minute changes with grace, and welcomed us like lifelong friends. Each morning at breakfast, he shared local insights, stories, and thoughtful conversation that made us feel like part of the community, not just travelers passing through. The room was spacious and so thoughtfully set up, a mini fridge, a lockbox (our first in 20 days of travel!), plenty of storage, and a large bathroom with the sweetest view of lemon trees. We celebrated Halloween here and it was pure magic for our toddler and ourselves. Our host shared the local scene and incredible cuisine, turning a night far from home into one full of warmth, connection, and joy. The location is simple to find, just follow his map, not Google 😉 (even if your spouse swears Google knows best!). It didn't feel like checking out, it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. We were truly sad to go and already hope to return one day. Grazie di cuore — questo posto è davvero speciale. (Thank you from the heart — this place is truly special.) The host Stefano was very accommodating and service-minded. He was helpful and had good communication. He serves a sweet breakfast, which is nice if you like pastries and bread. Simple: croissant and focaccia, coffee and yogurt. Clean and fresh

Hard bed , and i miss a duvet. The room was not soundproof, and we would hear everything from the hall and other rooms, so we were very lucky that the other guest was quiet and nice.

Lovely place and amazing host

The rooms were pleasant and it was a nice sized shower. Everything was clean and modern. Stefano was very helpful when I got lost (because Google Maps doesn’t work well in the town) and came and found me and showed me to the property. He also carried my luggage for the last bit of the journey and then up the flight of stairs at the accommodation. He was very friendly and kindly offered to pack my breakfast so I could take it away. The property is also in a good location- it’s a 3-5 minute walk to the main square and a 10 minute walk from the station.

Beautiful location close in proximity to all of what Monterosso has to offer. Stefano welcomed us warmly and even helped with carrying our luggage to/from our room. He provided a wonderful breakfast each morning. Grazie mille Stefano!

Our host Stefano was extremely kind, helpful and thoughtful. He did little things to make the stay more enjoyable such as getting us a cup of coffee when we arrived and giving my husband breakfast for me when I decided to sleep in and skip breakfast. You could not ask for more in Monterosso

Stefano made our stay here a joy. Prepared some focaccia and croisants for us to bring with us to the hike in the morning, allowed us to keep our luggage even if we checked out etc. The room and bathroom was clean, quite, everything was great! :)

Absolutely spotless and a lovely host

The property is in an amazing location. It has a lovely roof terrace. It is absolutely spotlessly clean and your room gets cleaned each day. It is tucked away in a lovely quiet little street but minutes away from the main centre. Stefano is such a nice host and deals with your requests or comments immediately. He also brought us the most delicious pastries for breakfast. Thanks so much for a lovely stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful and relaxing stay

The room was large, spotlessly clean and private bathroom. Big window to let in breeze. Location excellent, 1 minute walk to shops and restaurants, 3 minutes walk to lovely sandy beach and wharf to catch ferry to other 5Terre villages. Delicious breakfast of local focaccia and cornetto. Rooftop terrace with mountain views, tables, chairs and sunbeds. Host Stefano was friendly and helpful. I stayed two nights, bit wished I had booked a week. Highly recommended and would love to come back for a longer stay next time.
