Perfect base to explore Cinque Terre

We had a wonderful time here, even in the rain! Marco was so nice and helpful. The room was excellent-very clean, big shower that was powerful and hot, a lovely covered patio. There was coffee and tea in the room. Short walk to the train station and about a 5 min walk to the trail. Very few restaurants open in the old town. Highly recommend!

I would recommend this to solo travelers; it felt safe.

The room was extra clean and more spacious than I expected. Really appreciated the complimentary bottle of water in the fridge because after a day of hiking, it was much needed. I would say the location was also very convenient as it was only ~5 minutes from the train station. Although I never really needed to contact the host, he seemed very responsive should you have any concerns. Overall, very accommodating.

This was a great choice for staying in Monterosso al Mare. We had a wonderful time.

Great location. Close to beachfront, shops. Spacious room, light, very clean, nice bathroom, very comfortable bed, sunny porch area with seating provided. Quiet. Couldn't be nicer! Host greeted us upon arrival and had lots of information to provide for sight seeing, etc.

Tibei all the way

Marco is an exceptional host, taking the time to provide the all important local detail & tips, & even coming to the rescue when the local chemist was closed for siesta & we needed essentials. He clearly loves his community & takes pride in his residence, & what a place Monterosso al Mare & Cinque Terre are. Be sure to do it by train, foot & sea, & a dinner recommend would be Da Eraldo in the Old Town, especially the seafood pasta. Soak in the sunshine, clock up the steps & grab a gelato, focaccia, apertivo & capuccino. Beyond, Vernazza & Riomaggiore are a bit special, & Tibei is a great base to see it all. A shout too for the nearby laudromat, what a great community service.

Nothing really to call out. Tibei are transparent about not being a hotel & the rooms not being exceptionally big, but they are comfortable enough for the purpose of the stay. While there is no couch space inside, the outside terrace is a great spill area for an afternoon beverage.

Everything, from the moment we were greeted by Marco at the entrance. We were given a personalised detailed description of the Cinque Terre, from suitable walks to the best restaurants, tickets to buy and how to utilise our time best. Additionally we were given beach umbrellas which were perfect.

Great place to stay that is quiet and close to everything

Property is close to the beach, a nice bakery for coffee and breakfast and local supermarkets. Marco was great advising on places to go and local tips on trains etc. we had a wonderful 6 night stay. Very quiet and very comfortable bed.

that was one of the best accommodation services we ever had. Better service than 5 star hotel!! We were provided directions to Monterosso with best restaurants and best beaches. Instructions on how to get around and literally they saved us a lot of money on train tickets. We were provided umbrellas and beach towels for free. Dont get me started on the room. It was one of the most functional room i have ever stayed with patio, mechanical tent perfect chairs for relaxing in the patio, comfort bed and large shower. Definitely going there again and perfect location.

There wasnt any view as there was another house right in front of it but again i will sacrifice that for the rest we got in a heartbit

Remarkable!

Marco was phenomenal host!!! Leading up to our stay for our Honeymoon, he had a cancellation on a bigger unit so switched us over to enjoy it. He was so detailed oriented with literally everything, from check in to instructions on the room, the area, etc. He works very hard and the guesthouse is top notch because of it. He is a very talented photographer and has his photos in the hallway with QR codes that take you to Google maps and directions to those locations. There are guide books, Italian language books available to use. We also appreciated they provided beach umbrellas to take to the public spots. The room, the patio and view were wonderful. We hope we can visit again!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were really helpful and gave us a guide on things to do. The place is located really close to the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed the use of the free beach umbrellas. We were also able to store our luggage past check out for free. We highly recommend staying here!

The location was great, literally 30 seconds from the beach! Our host Marco, was a true gentleman. He met us and helped with our luggage. He spent so much time with us on our arrival, helping us plan out our time at Cinque Terre. He was always available to help answering any questions we had. The perfect stay in Monterosso

I loved everything about this stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. We had a balcony with an amazing view. The location was perfection only a short walk from the station, restaurants, grocery store, laundromat and beach. The host Marco was nothing short of amazing, he was beyond helpful giving us all the best tips to make our stay incredible. Would 100% recommend this stay!

The room was VERY comfortable and the extra large balcony/patio was to die for. Truly worth revisiting.

The perfect location for a quiet get away.

Location was perfect. Close to train station (easy flat walk), restaurants, mini mart, beach and walks. A 'glimpse' of the ocean from the spacious balcony. Incredibly quiet. The room had heaps of storage space, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom a good size. The lighting was great. Room was serviced every day and plenty of towels were supplied. Marco (the host) was very attentive and helpful.

The coffee and tea wasn't replenished unless asked for.

Don't hesitate - we loved it.

Marco helped us plan our hikes to suit the weather, a train strike and the best financial decisions with CT pass, trains etc. All those weeks of planning & worrying solved with his local expertise. Also I Tibei had no stairs, close to an incredible bakery, and an easy stroll to the train. The room was modern and well laid out.
