Beautiful location, right on the beach and close to the old town

This is not a hotel it’s a guesthouse and this was not specified in the description. The location is excellent, the owners are very sweet and helpful and the room was very clean. The room has a beautiful view snd was very clean but it’s really tiny. There is a beautiful terrace adjacent to the room which is a big convenience. The problem is that the hosts did not provide any drinking water so we had to carry water up from the town. Another inconvenience is the shower, which is so small that you could barely fit in it (keep in mind that we are both very slim!) Another inconvenience is the fact that there is no elevator. You have to climb 3 flights of stairs every time to go in and out of the building. It’s true that tge owner helps you with the luggage, but it’s not easy to climb that many stairs a few times a day when it’s hot.

We liked the location and the cleanness.

Incredible location with picturesque views

Absolutely stunning hotel room in the heart of Monterosso. Just a one minute walk from the station which was handy upon arrival and departure, with the beach at your doorstep. A short and scenic walk to Monterosso’s old town which was also beautiful. The apartment was clean and the hosts were extremely kind and accomodating. This place was on the pricey side but absoutley worth it, with a spectacular view and location, and being able to see Cinque Terre in the early morning/late afternoon when the day trippers had left the area was very special. The hotel also had a terrace on the top floor which was an added bonus. Also has a very strong aircon which is rare for Europe! Would absoutley recommend and stay here again in the future.

Great location, right next to the train station. Manuel, the host, was extremely accommodating when we arrived. The room’s are always clean and receive housekeeping everyday. The balcony is shared with the other room however still amazing view.

Hands down the best place to stay in Monterosso!

We had the ocean facing room, it was absolutely lovely to wake up every morning and open the shutters. Just glorious! Room was perfect size for 2 people, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The shared balcony was a bonus and the host that greeted us was so nice & friendly. Would love to come back one day.

Wonderful host, excellent location, A/C was key for the heat wave!

The location was excellent! It is right on the beach and next to the train station. It is a short walk to old town for restaurants and shopping. A/C was great and necessary for the heat wave while we were there.

The trains vibrate in the room and the trains come by often.

AMzing views, location and staff

This is a nice. no frills room Bed was very comfy but the terrace on windows out to the sea make this a spectacular place to stay. Not to mention the proximity to the train station. And the staff was EXCEPTIONAL. SO helpful. So communicative. I even forgot something and they are going to send to me in States. If you are looking for a comfortable room with the most stunning views and warm staff this is it

Beautiful Views. Highly Recommend

Gorgeous location and highly recommend staying here

The owner messaged me the day before check in asking what time I would arrive. When I responded, he should have said where to meet him as I did not know where to go once I got to the outside of the building. I knocked on some other guest door and they did not speak English. Luckily another guest was walking out and told me he was there and will be down soon. It appears these rooms in the building are owned by different owners. I did not know the green shutters on the outside of the window could be closed as it appeared they were attached to the outside wall. I wish I would have known this as the first night stay was noisey and the morning sun shined through very early. We figured it out the next day.

Amazing outlook with outstanding views

Location is superb and highly enviable. Outlook is amazing and right in the beach.

Three was nothing that we did not like but wasn't too point out that the only down side is the climb to level 3 (54 stairs). No elevator but is old building and was expected. Those with disabilities or knee problems would find it difficult.

Everything was perfect! The location is superb! Walk right out your door to all the activities. There is a beautiful terrace on top with amazing views of the beach and the village of Vernazza. Take the blue trail hike to the villages. Staff was very friendly and made for a special stay. We will definitely return and send others. Thank you so much! Diana~Kenny

Great location,incredible view

Manuel was a wonderful host.He met us on arrival and helped us carry our bags up the stairs before providing us with great recommendations for restaurants and other useful tips.The location of the property is right beside the train station and has an incredible view from the shared patio of the other villages along the coast.It was a great place to sit and enjoy a glass of Proseco while watching the sunset.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Totally a pleasure

The person who checked us in was great, friendly, explained everything clearly and was a big help in getting us settled in. The view of sea from our room. The balcony was prefect. All the room necessities were very good and room was clean each day and everything replaced. We loved it.

No elevator, wasn’t a big deal for us but could be for someone. I cannot say anything else that was a negative to our stay

Conveniently located, comfortable and a view worth climbing the stairs.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was 1 minute from the train station, overlooking the beach. Absolutely satisfied with this choice. The cream on the cake was the view. Overlooking the beach, and on a clear day can see all of the villages of Cinque Terre.

There is no lift…so the 50 plus stairs are a challenge..but the view is absolutely worth it. Also the host was super helpful and assisted with the suitcases.

Location right next to the train station was super convenient, and it really wasn’t that noisy with the shutters closed. Really nice terrace next to our room with a view of the ocean and the next towns to the south. They had a nice nespresso machine WITH pods, so it was awesome to have rich, dark coffee in the morning without having to venture out. Very good communication with the host as well!

Bed was a bit firm, but that seems to be a common thing in Italy.

Wonderful host who explained everything. The rooms were spotless and they thought of everything. The terrace was amazing. We could sit, read and drink in the evening overlooking the ocean. Great location right over the beach and moments from the train station. If I come back here I will definitely try and book this spot. Great job. Will come back.

We had an excellent stay at Manuel and Silvia’s place! It was an ideal location for exploring Cinque Terre and had a gorgeous view of the beach. We loved having A/C and the patio to hang out on.
