Very nice view and location, but the not a good value for money.

Amazing balcony view, and location. Very friendly cleaning staff.

The host did not welcome us when we arrived. My partner is a resident of Italy and did not accept her residency documents, claiming they only accept passports. Not only was this not specified, this is unnecessary as she quite literally lives in Italy. Additionally, we asked the host for new sheets who greeted us rudely and made us wait for her to finish her personal phone call before helping us.

It was wonderful!

The location is excellent! Just in front of the ocean and very close to the train station. Viviani is very nice and helpful.. she is always ready to help.

This is no a complaint but just have to know, as most places in Italy there are some stairs to climb to the apartments. 😊

Great location and spot, could use a refresh

The location was perfect and the room was a great size for a two night stay.

The sheets and pillow cases were stained (small blood splatter on the end of bed + black spots on the pillows). The mattress cover was stained as well and it looked like the under side of bed hadn't been swept in a while.. We left for the day and came back to the bedroom cleaned up (which was great!), but they left with our towels and never brought back fresh ones, so we had to use our beach towels.

The location was outstanding! You can sit at the balcony enjoying the sea and the beautiful environment! The room was good and has everything you need, clean and spacious, they provide towels for the beach.

Basic hotel, amazing location.

The location is amazing, with the beach, cafees, train station all at your doorstep. We had a room with balcony with amazing seaview.

Not so easy to find the office to check in. The host is not at very flexible regarding requests. Only one key to the room. The room was basic but okay, the chair in the balcony was broken. The 9:30am checkout is too early.

The location was excellent. Metres from the station, our room overlooked the beach with a small balcony, table and 2 chairs. Perfect!

Basic clean accommodation in a great location.

The location was super - 2 mins from the train station and facing the sea. The bedroom was a bit dated but clean and the bathroom was new. We had a private garden room and the outside had a table and chairs which we didn’t use due to the weather. It had a safe which was useful. Towels changed daily. There’s a fridge, kettle and hairdryer.

The reception room looked dated which initially put us off the property. There’s several steps up to the entrance door but the receptionist carried my case. We couldn’t hang our clothes due to the safe being in the wardrobe.

Wi-fi didn't work for the whole stay, despite reporting it upon arrival and twice a day, daily. The place relies on its great location to do little else. The room looks very old, and triggered allergies badly Water heater was not on the first day, and had to ask the lady in charge to please turn it on

The location is very convenient and easily accessible from the train station.

When we booked the room, it was marketed as "Only one left at this price". Upon arrival we determined it was the only room available to rent, the hotel is small maybe 5 or 6 rooms. The other rooms were inhabitable,under construction and not rented. The manager did not stay on site. The security was a little questionable and we were concerned for our safety since we were the only guests in the hotel. The room was small, very damp, and smelly. It was not the cleanest place either, hair in the bed, bathroom floor dirty, all floors wet, non working safe, the refrigerator doesn't work and the furniture needs to be replaced. Inaccurate photos on booking website, I would rate two or one star hotel, not the three star advertised. We had no choice but to stay the two nights because the trains were on strike the day after our arrival.

The room was very low end, outdoor railing fell out of the wall, tv didn’t work, no reception area and had to wait to get in Room was so small and the furniture was terrible

The location was great. The balcony was cute and enjoyable. Staff was pleasant.

The hallway had an odd smell…maybe it was the cleaner? Our room was small, but comfortable. The TV did not work, which was fine but we couldn’t find the staff after we checked in to let them know.

Lovely location right on the beach front.

Staff didn’t speak much English so weren’t able to provide any recommendations or information on local bike hire etc (I’d recommend even a page of recommendations in a few languages - even a map of the area would have been great). No iron available to borrow.

Cinque Terre Stay

The location is perfect and minimal stairs to the property. Right across from the beach

It was such a small room quiet run down needs some refreshed furniture the bed wasn’t great and lots of dust under the bed.

Brilliant Experience within the Cinque Terre

They had everything we could possibly need such as beech towels and beech umbrellas as well as small toileteries such as pouch of shampoo and a small razor. The staff were caring and kind. The location could not have been better, right on the beech front and next to the station. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again if in the cinque terre..

There isn't a maned reception which caused us a little concern to start with, but once we got in touch with the staff member, they quickly came to assist us. Could not have helped us more.

Fantastic location right on the beach strip at Monterosso al Mare. If you can, practice a little a Italian and the hostess warms up immensely

It's worth it if you are going for one night

Great location near the beach and train station and our room had a sea view.

There was no detachable shower/douche head, so it was really hard to clean the sand. It definitely feels like it needs some renovations, but it was good for one evening. Sadly, the check-out hours are too early.

5 star spectacular view

This is a really difficult room to rate. It had a great location, spectacular 180 degree sea front view, balcony etc, but it’s a 2 star quality hotel. It depends on what you want. First impression is not good, but once my wife saw the view and balcony, she was happy. Large shower, lots of hot water, large room sleeps 4. I think there are only 2 view rooms, we had #3. You pick, view or room amenities. Biggest issue for us was that the internet was so slow it was useless!

This hotel is unique and the location couldn't be better. It's right across the street from the beach. Next to the train depot (but you couldn't hear the train in our hotel room). The nearby restaurants were so good. Location, location, location!

Fabulous

The location was Perfect! Just above the beach with an amazing view over the sea from our balcony (we had a family room). Just 1 min walk from the train station and 5 min walk to the old part of Monterosso where the best restaurants are.

location, Right on the promenade, Wonderful Location view from window. Although Very disappointed NOT to have a Balcony as requested. Would have made our trip if we could have sat outside.

Lovely Lady Rafaela. She works constantly, is friendly & helpful. would have been perfect had I more Italian & She more English as no other person contactable.
