Loved our stay at Piccolo in Monterosso!!

We absolutely loved our room! Asja was a great host, she provided excellent online instructions, promptly answered any questions I had and helped make our stay a wonderful experience. The location was amazing - it is right in the heart of Monterosso - 5 minute walk to the beach, 8 minute to train station, and literally step out the door and access to cafes and shops. Asja paid attention to so many details in the room providing Dyson hair dryer, laundry service for free, Smeg kettle and steamer for clothes. We were able to store our luggage both before and after our stay. Apartment was modern and clean and perfect for our three night stay in Monterosso! Highly recommend 😊😊

Location is at the center of town but loud with a restaurant below and bell tower next door.

Hair dryer, hot tub, snorkel and fins

Location above a restaurant and next to the bell tower/church. It was VERY noisy. People at the bar downstairs until late every night (midnight) and workers up stocking and banging things around 6am. The bells started ringing (39x at 7am). We were missing many of the amenities that were reported. No laundry bag for laundry service, no beach bag, no comforter on the bed. There was hair left in the tub and hair on the sheets.

Excellent stay at Piccolo Principe!!

The property was in an excellent location. Of the five villages, Monterosso was by far the best. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable!!! Sylvia from the Ciak (wine shop) was very helpful to us. And the woman who cleaned the room was lovely and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and that everything was in its place. Coffee for the espresso machine was excellent and the pesto was a nice touch.

Nothing. It was great! I would recommend that guests pack as light as possible. Especially considering you will be carrying your own luggage up at least one flight of stairs.

A well organised stay with a lot of instructions for check-in, great location near a lot of restaurants, the room was also very big, clean and modern with a lot of thought put into it. And we also got pesto as a welcome gift ! We will definitely stay here again !

This hotel exceeded expectations. It was very comfortable and had soap, lotions a hair dryer and even a steamer. The location was perfect and it was so nice to open up all the windows and watch the world go by. Highly recommend this stay.

We only had one key which was tricky when we were not together because the key powered the electricity. Not a bad thing but maybe some robes would be nice!

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been!

The location was great, we enjoyed walking around the area and indulging in the local fare. The food was amazing, the Limoncello excellent and the people friendly.

We really had no complaints, a little bit of a hike with our luggage but really nothing to complain about.

The location is good, and the room is clean and pleasant

There was only one problem- the drain in the bathroom did not work well, and so we had to use towels to stop the bathroom flooding the apartment. I suspect this will be fixed for the next people.

The nicest room we stayed in during our two weeks traveling around Italy. The room was amazing, clean, exceptionally appointed and so convenient. Lorenzo is an amazing host. You must try the restaurant, Ristorante Ciak, located on the first level. Fresh and delicious local seafood. We had the seafood stew and it was fantastic. More than enough for two.

Great central location in the heart of town

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and over all it was perfect! However, due to its central position, the noise level was quite high throughout the day. The room we stayed in faced a bustling street, and the noise from outside could be heard from 6:00 AM until midnight. Despite this drawback, the overall experience was still quite enjoyable, and there were several outstanding aspects worth mentioning. One of the highlights of the hotel was the room itself. It was spacious, providing ample space to move around comfortably. Additionally, the room boasted a beautiful view, which added a touch of charm to the overall ambiance. Waking up to such a view was certainly a delightful way to start each day. Moreover, the beds in the room were incredibly comfortable. After a long day of exploring the city, it was a relief to sink into a cozy bed and enjoy a restful night's sleep. The hotel clearly prioritized guest comfort, and it made a significant difference in the overall experience. Another noteworthy aspect was the shower room. It was well-appointed and stocked with high-quality soaps, shampoos, and other amenities. The attention to detail in providing guests with premium bathroom products contributed to a luxurious and pampering stay. It's always a pleasure to have access to such thoughtful amenities that enhance the overall experience. While the noise from the street was a downside of the hotel's central location, it's important to note that this is often an unavoidable aspect of staying in the heart of a vibrant city. However, for those who are particularly sensitive to noise, it may be worth considering alternative accommodations. Nevertheless, the positive aspects of the hotel far outweighed the noise issue for me.

When I requested quiet room at booking, I wish we were told that it wouldn't be possible because of the busy location of the hotel. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!
