Wonderful

Aptly named - so charming! Brilliant location, the house is pretty and charcterful, and Matteo is a really nice and helpful host. A little breakfast is included around the corner in a cafe that makes brilliant macchiato. I'd love to stay again!

Just a note that my room had two different floor levels - a step up to the bathroom and to the door - they are very clearly marked, just mentioning in case it makes a difference.

Perfect quaint little bed and breakfast!

It was lovely and very clean and comfortable. It was in a great part of town if you want to be walking distance from most of Lucca. Matteo was also very helpful and made himself available to us for any questions. We had a wonderful stay, would recommend.

The street we were on was very busy and loud at night. It didn't bother us much, but if you have trouble sleeping that's something to consider.

Great place to stay for a few days in Lucca, inside the city walls.

We had a five night stay here in mid-September and it was wonderful. Been to Luca several times before and this accommodation is up there with the best. Matteo is a superb host, always available by WhatsApp and in his office at set times should you need him. It’s immediately obvious that he wants his guests to really enjoy their stay. We loved the breakfasts, served at a lovely bar round the corner, or you can ask for take- away option. And late morning too, not a problem if you want a lie-in. The property is in an amazing, central location, literally steps from San Frediano. There’s a supermarket close by too, and plenty of eating places to suit all budgets. Our room was quiet, total blackout with shutters closed, comfortable bed and small fridge. The building is centuries old and full of character. Definitely great value for money. Thank you Matteo!

Fabulous end to our trip in Italy

A perfect location in a room with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. It was very clean and the host (Matteo) was very friendly and helpful when we wanted to stay an extra night. It was very quiet even though there were four of us on the floor. Two of the rooms had a bathroom outside the room, but it was just for us and not difficult to take the 4 steps to the bathroom from the bedroom. In fact, it was a lovely big bathroom, which we wouldn't have had if it were an ensuite. Breakfast voucher could be spent at the local bakery - 2 mins walk away and the choice was good and the food and coffee delicious. All round good experience for us.

Super friendly and amazing location in the heart of Lucca

Awesome location right in the (beautiful) heart of Lucca. Checkin was a breeze and the communication from Matteo was unbeatable - he answered our queries super quickly. Room was lovely and bed was comfortable; the coffee machine in the hallway was very welcome (although would have been good to have more coffee - but I always think it's good to have more coffee). There was a kettle in the room for tea. Breakfast was around the corner in a local cafe.

All was great but extra coffee would have been nice. Honestly, that's the only thing I can think of! Wonderful place!

Bed and breakfast davvero super, in posizione centralissima a due passi da piazza San Michele che offre la possibilità di girare tutto il centro di Lucca a piedi. Le camere sono ampie e comode, nonostante fossimo in zona centrale non abbiamo sentito rumori né la notte né la mattina, la colazione è esterna alla struttura ma è ottima e il bar è veramente dietro l’angolo del b&b. Ci sono piccole attenzioni che non ho trovato in altri posti in cui ho alloggiato come il bollitore per l’acqua calda con una scelta di tisane e the all’ingresso, una macchinetta del caffè a cialde a disposizione e una bottiglietta d’acqua per ogni ospite. Matteo poi è veramente super, ci ha dato consigli per visitare la città e su dove mangiare, super consigliato!

Soggiorno perfetto! Torneremo sicuramente.

La struttura si trova in pieno centro, punto di appoggio perfetto per visitare Lucca e raggiungere a piedi con facilità ogni punto del centro storico. La stazione dista circa 10/15 minuti a piedi. La camera e il bagno erano puliti, ordinati e dotati di ogni comfort. Matteo, il ragazzo che ci ha accolto, è gentile e disponibile e ci ha dato dei preziosi consigli per vivere al meglio la città. Consigliatissimo!!!
