Breakfast was excellent, availability of parking was helpful. Air conditioning worked better than many locations. Was able to check in by 2 pm, very helpful.
Room is small and featureless/charmless compared with others we stayed at in Tuscany. Storage space minimal, tiny closet etc. Shower very small and toilet very high height (not sure if all rooms are ADA accessible but ours was, without asking for/needing this). Given this, the value for the money also low compared with other properties in Tuscany. (This was our only night in Lucca, so can't compare with others in the area). Tried to book directly but the hotel's website to do so did not work, so no idea if that would have been a better value.

Clean, great location. Friendly staff.
Overly Small rooms and quite basic for a 4 stars. Breakfast was also very basic.
