Strategic position close to the centre with easier possibility to find park for the car (an issue otherwise in most of the city). Very friendly and polite staff. Clean room and very comfortable bed. What I enjoyed the most is the garden in the backyard: perfect for sunny mornings and cozy evening with some wine. Exactly what I needed after a long day of work, will definitely go back !

Exceptional

Perfect localization, helpful staff, very clean, simple rooms and lovely patio. Parking available at the hotel or 80m away. The city … so beautiful, so charming, so toscanian. Everything within a walking distance. Pasticceria and supermarket are very close. If in Lucca again, we will stay in the Bernardino hotel.

Good hotel and helpful staff, and they let us store our bike bags for a week.

Big thanks to Manuela for letting us store our bags in the hotel while we cycle toured around Tuscany for a week starting and finishing in Lucca, this was a major factor in us choosing the Bernardino. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was a good size and comfortable.

It's in a busy area so some people might not like the noise, didn't bother us though.

Clean and convenient location. Staff was super...helped us in many ways. Young interns were very polite...hotel front desk management were patient and very helpful.

Spa was not available and was a high priority in my search filter.

Hotel non accessibile per persone disabili in carrozzina

NIENTE. Di passaggio per una notte ci si arrangia ma ...l'appartamento per una persona disabile in carrozzina non è per niente comodo se non si è con accompagnatore.

L'appartamento per una persona disabile in carrozzina non è per niente facilmente raggiungibile autonomamente, bisogna essere con un accompagnatore normodotato. Si entra da un passo carrario con catena messa in alto (Ingresso principale del Hotel ci sono SCALINI ALTI), in un cortile stretto e lungo (adibito a parcheggio...per fortuna qella sera c'era solo un'auto parcheggiata) poi bisogna oltrepassare un'altro cancelletto basso, la cui maniglia è dalla parte interna (molto scomodo) che da nel giardino dell'Hotel. Dopo uno slalom tra tavolini e sedie del giardino si arriva finalmente alla unica camera "accessibile" per disabili. Come al solito i bagni per le persone disabili in carrozzina sono realizzati da persone che non capiscono NULLA di disabilità (il lavabo non era inclinabile, il water "adatto ai disabili" mancava però il doccino per farsi il bidet). Direi alla Direzione di non pubblicizzare che "Hotel Accessibile a Disabili".

Accueil très cordial. Bon petit déjeuner. Service professionnel. Le taxi que j'avais commandé pour me rendre à la gare ne s'étant pas présenté, la gérante de l'hôtel m'a gentiment proposé de me conduire à la gare avec sa propre voiture. Très apprécié !

Piacevole sorpresa per un viaggio di lavoro

Hotel in posizione ottima per raggiungere il centro storico, camera spaziosa e ben arredata. La colazione è servita in una sala con vetrate sul giardino. Grande scelta di cibo dolce e salato .Buonissime le torte casalinghe. Punto di forza l'affabilita' e la disponibilità della signora Manuela! Da consigliare a chi vuole visitare Lucca!!!!

Il letto era comodo e anche la doccia era carina, ma non proprio pulita

Non mi è piaciuta la camera perché non era ben pulita e poi c'erano formiche ovunque, troppa polvere. Poi per quello che abbiamo pagato sinceramente troppo non c'era nemmeno la colazione
