Very comfortable hotel stay!

Lovely big room with comfy beds. Staff was lovely, and provided us with bikes to ride the top of the medieval wall surrounding the old town. Hôtel was clean, and breakfast was great! Would stay here again.

Location is a 20-minute walk to the train station.

Beautiful period building in a great location.

Rooms were a bit tired and in need of a facelift, toilet seat was badly fitted and moved around a lot, air conditioning was very temperamental

Ok for short stay but not for price

Room was big, bed was comfortable.

Air-conditioning was poor and didn’t work well enough for the heat. My room was next to the service lift so lots of banging in the morning. Our room had some bugs that left red marks on us, not mosquitoes. Overall it was an ok stay. The staff were all nice and helpful but the price for what you pay is a lot for what you get. Bathroom needs renovation.

Exceptional

We had an amazing stay at San Luca Palace. The room was exceptionally clean, and lovely little touches in the room were much appreciated. Breakfast was great, so much to choose from and always received such a lovely welcome from the staff each morning. The staff in general were welcoming and helpful, even recommended and booked an olive oil tasing and pasta making course- thanks again Roberto for helping with this. Great location, easy to walk to everywhere and enjoyed morning walks along the wall. Cannot fault anything about our stay, would definitely return if we come back to Lucca, thanks for an amazing stay.

The hotel is in a great location with shops, cafes and restaurants close by

The room was small and only a small window so very dark it didn’t help that tha furniture was very dark. The air con was ancient so didn’t work very well well. And the noise from the street was disturbing and went on until 2,in the morning

Perfect location with parking. Good breakfast. Good bath room.

We did not have hot water for the shower on the first morning. It was fixed during the day, this can happen, so not a big problem, we were well informed by the receptionist in charge.

The rooms are enormous and clean. Breakfast is sumptuous.

Not possible to control room temperature so management decided to shut down boilers and although the room was 17 degrees i could not heat it.

Great hotel. Lovely room and staff were all so kind and helpful. Great staff on reception and Maria in the dining room was wonderful. One small issue was the tap to fill the bath didn’t work but you could fill it from the shower over the bath.

Great location within the Lucca city wall with friendly staff and delicious breakfast!

Loved the location! Very friendly, helpful staff. Our hvac was on the blink the 1st night but was quickly remedied the next day. Bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was very good. Our favorite outing was to the winery Tenuta Adamo….a fabulous experience for those staying in or close to Lucca. Don’t miss it!

The breakfast provided was really exceptionally good, very satisfy. The location was excellent as we can walk to see the town within the wall. Even able to walk up on the wall too. The staffs were really helpful.

The mattress on the bed is quite soft (need to change). Apart from that all is OK.

Great location to explore Lucca

The breakfast was superb and included in the price. There were a few niggles with the room, such as a fridge that didn’t work and a broken shower head, but these were dealt with efficiently and politely. We were moved to another room. The hotel had free pedal cycles to explore Lucca which we used to escape the crowds and cycle upon and around the wall of the city.

The bathrooms and decor are a little dated. No outside garden area.

Perfect location and absolutely good value for the price.

The location of the the hotel is perfect - a stone's throw from an entrance to the inner walled city, with parking facility, and super central. At the same time very quiet. The staff were all super friendly, checkin and checkout were efficient and fast. We didn't have breakfast.

The hotel has obviously seen better days, it's a bit dated, and perhaps a rejuvenation could be in order.
