Grubby, overpriced, not to be repeated.

Not much. Far expectations based on the mark 8.0 were much higher . Lorraine was super helpful and waited up way past midnight (due to a missed flight) to hand me my keys and let me in.

The fiddle stairs up and down, making carrying luggage difficult. The policy of one set of keys only was impossible, given my wife and I were both working but separately. We had an unexplained power cut from Tuesday night to Wednesday evening. The fridge freezer thawed and emptied 1 lt. water onto the bedroom door. The hotel and room is old and in urgent need of upgrading. This accommodation is not worth the high price the owner takes. The “kitchen” is youth hostel standard… on top of that I recieved a message my card had been declined and the accommodation needed payment- although it had gone through 4 weeks earlier.

Lovely lady who cleans the room

Everything rather old and shabby, in parts even grimy. Unfortunately not as nice as on the pictures. They repeatedly claim that the credit card is not valid and require payment on site. Perhaps this is a way to avoid fees. Shortly before arrival, we were told we would have to change hotels after two nights due to a booking error. Later, they said it was because of construction work. Once everything was already packed, they suddenly informed us that no change was necessary after all. Overall, rather strange and unprofessional.

Terrible and horrible.

Property was a good spot for a location as I am a social media personality the service was utterly so so bad for the amount I paid.

The service was so nonchalant, the facilities of the pool was good, the WiFi internet connection was terrible I saw no value for what I essentially paid for one night ,I will not recommend this place to my network

Misrepresentation and a scham operation

Just the location. It’s easy enough to find if you know the area.

It was dirty, it was rundown, it doesn’t look like the pictures anymore, the bedding linen had stains on and towels were old and of terrible quality. The glass doors were dirty, the barbecue facilities were old and rusted. The garden was overgrown, the outdoor furniture cushions were tattered and dirty. The onsite staff is extremely unprofessional, incompetent,laugh and scream loud, I I think they live on the premises. The company number listed is on another premises and while this is fine, they aren’t easily reachable. Or perhaps it’s a management company but it all felt run like a scham business. Be very cautious about booking this accommodation. I have so many more pictures and will be posting them on Google reviews.

Very enjoyable

The staff were excellent there and exceeded our expectations. The view from our room was beautiful with the sea and mountains both in view. Comfy beds. A very nice comfy place for a stay in Cape Town I highly recommend it.

It is a little far from Camps Bay beach so definitely plan to get Ubers to and from because the area gets very windy and uncomfortable to walk up the big hill. Not exactly a problem with the property, just a tip for fellow travellers

Not what we hoped for

First impressions were very good. Generous size room and bathroom. Good location Great views from the balcony

We didn’t use the pool but it didn’t look very inviting and the garden was untidy. The ‘open plan’ bathroom didn’t work for 4 people. No privacy! And the worst thing- the sofa bed had one missing slat and one broken slat, so the mattress completely sunk into the hole- unacceptable

Great value for money in Camps Bay.

The location was great, and the general atmosphere very relaxed.

There was music and some noise at night. This place has a slightly run down atmosphere, being an older villa in camps bay turned into a guesthouse, but great value for money. It was very windy during my stay which is typical for Camps Bay. Camps Bay is getting busier and noisier than it was.

Don’t pay to them when sent a payment link from the through WhatsApp

didn’t stay at this property they took payment from my account,the card I added to the booking and also went behind my back and sent my husband who didn’t make the booking payment link for payment which he paid this is prove if of payment : Payment Link Beachwood Camps Bay BC [email protected] +27725073392 Amount paid R4 131.00 ZAR Payment success You have successfully paid Beachwood Camps This for two room which we didn’t stay now booking.com they have charged me on here again or something and the worst thing is if you report scam booking.com Customer care don’t even respond no emails,am so disappointed.please don’t book this property they are scammers and what you are seeing on the photo and reviews from other reviewers which am thinking is them are all lies. Sun&Sand Camps Bay see I will open a case both in my home country Dubai and South Africa you can scam me never,👎 pure scammers the place is like a kidnapping house if you love your life don’t go there and am honestly given this review,don’t pay to them if they message you for payment to link and don’t even book them.I wish I can attach pictures every where smells dirty,is a shared kitchen and no security at all,the kitchen smells so bad and dirty you can’t even stay for a min,there was dustbins outside once u enter the from door and the kitchen Dustbin too 2 bags each they hide the out side one when they noticed I was taking pictures and making videos I have all prove and I promise I will get this money back no matter what.They messed with the wrong family ,note booking.com I never stayed at this property I have prove of another place I made payment to same yesterday.Scam run 🏃

Great location, lovely view. Room is cozy with modern decor. Has a big feel due to the balcony and view. Awesome spa bath. Friendly hosts Was great to unwind in the balcony at sunset.

Bed could do with new mattress and more comfortable pillows. Mattress dips in various places. If you pay for deluxe.. comfort must be included. Previous reviews had the same issue and was hoping that feedback would have improved before our stay.

Misleading photos, tiny and dirty room, dusty AC that made us sick, old condition, overpriced.

Friendly staff

The pictures do not match reality. The room is very small, barely accommodating one person, and not clean. You have to specifically request the staff for certain cleaning tasks. The room is very old, with cracked paint, and the AC is extremely dirty—full of dust—which made us sick. Overall, the price definitely does not match the quality offered.

Average dome, kind of like camping at your mom's house backyard with no view.

Location is great as it is 5 minutes driving from the beach They are pet friendly!

It needs quite a lot of maintenance (broken laminated floors, deck handrails broken, area around the dome is messy; there is mostly a backyard and Jojo tank view more than an ocean view.

Great location, super accommodating staff!!

Very friendly and accommodating staff, really helpful! You obviously cant beat the location, we werent really there during the day however we came back after one day of the wine tram when it was raining and cold, we wanted to use the hot tub but the one knob came off completely and the flow of the water took AGES, in the end it wasnt worth it, so we just dropped the idea of using it… Also the main bed is not the most comfortable, if you arent lying exactly in the middle of the bed you are rolling off to either side, its evident that the mattress needs replacing.. But overall the stay was pleasant.

This is a beautiful place with a breathtaking view. The room was confortable and nicely decorated. It was clean, both the room and the common spaces. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed very much my stay.
