Great location with parking - we booked the ocean view room which was incredibly special, we were very sad to leave. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast was great, the pool area was lovely - 10/10

Awesome property with amazing staff !!!

Very clean new and great location. We had an Atlantic room and the view was outstanding. We could see lions head, Table mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Awesome!

The staff were outstanding here. I would like to mention one person but that would be unfair as they were all amazing. Thank you for making this short stay special.

Peaceful spot to enjoy Camps Bay.

Good location up the hill from Camps Bay beach. Just 15 mins or so to walk down. Nice pool area. Very friendly and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast, spacious room with big windows. Surrounded by greenery. Parking on site

Our room was very close to a busy road so there was traffic noise. Other rooms were better placed looking across the pool to the water. But that was the room we booked so my fault!

Delightful stay thanks to Masi & Charne.

Following a major renovation the finishing touches are frantically underway. Masi (the GM) certainly has the passion & determination to get everything tip top. A lovely welcome by Charne (the chef) who made sure we were comfortable & had everything we needed, especially after an unfortunate mix up with our room for night one. But Masi & Charne went out of their way to put everything right from day two. Everything then lived up to expectation being in the Ocean View Penthouse room as booked. Beautiful refurb with stunning views of the bay & sunsets. Charne is an absolute gem who creates such unique platters & tasty breakfasts with freshly baked goods. The Sovn certainly has the potential to be a superb boutique hotel in Camps Bay with a great location & such a dedicated team who work very hard to get everything right for their guests.

Absolutely lovely and really helpful staff! We got a free upgrade when we arrived and had a room with the most beautiful views onto table mountain. Bed was unbelievably comfortable!

Truly a gem of a property in Camps Bay.

We stayed in the penthouse room and the room was modern, spacious and well kept. The views from the bed to Lions head and across the bay were stunning. The staff were welcoming and always there to help. A once in a holiday experience which I cannot recommend enough

Excellent views, our suit was gorgeous and roomy. Fabulous sunset view from the balcony. The managers were super helpful and accommodated us. They also gave us great food recs. Would definitely stay again!

Everything! The best place ever! The workers were so nice, the location is very good and the bedroom is amazing. It was possible to see the ocean from the room. A beautiful place with a delicious breakfast! I really recommend it!

Everything! The property is breathtaking. I loved our unit especially the bathroom and the stunning views. The breakfast spread was great. The staff was so nice, helpful and accommodating. They really made my stay with my mom so special. Definitely looking forward to visiting again.

Excellent facilities, lovely location overlooking Camps Bay, exceptional hosts!

The location was excellent for us to go to V&A Waterfront for early morning pickup to experience a Stellenbosch wine-tasting tour. Our hosts were so wonderful and accommodating; they allowed us to leave our bags, which was safer than leaving them in the car at a parking garage until our return from the tour to catch our flight home that evening. They even offered facilities in which we could freshen up, and provided us with a delicious cheese board and fruit for our enjoyment upon our return to collect our bags! This was so thoughtful and generous of them; we could not ask for a higher standard of excellence in hospitality. Will definitely be recommending them to the rest of our family traveling crew who could not accompany us on this extended vacation to various provinces in South Africa, and we will be back for a longer stay in the future, during which we will get to experience the additional treat of the highly reputed pastries and mouthwatering breakfast. Thank you Ciska, Masi and the rest of the wonderful staff for our short, sweet stay!

Loved this place!

Great location in short distance of the sea front and restaurants. Our room was large room, confortable bed, views of table mountain and the ocean. Great bathroom with nice products and soft towels. Beautiful pool, excellent breakfast. The staff is very friendly and so helpful, they went out of their way to accommodate our requests. A great two days to end our trip to South Africa.

Amazing!!

Just WOW! Everything was just great, the huge room, the unforgettable view, the nice pool, the beeeest breakfast with everything you ever can wish for :) and a big thanks to Zee. One day she made us a wonderful breakfast-to-go-box because we had to leave very early in the morning. We would 100% recommend this wonderful Villa. Had a great time there, 3 nights! Perfect to come down after the Garden Route or also to stay there to explore Capetown. Restaurants 10 Min by Foot and we felt more safe in Camps Bay than in Seapoint, Waterfront etc.

nothing really, I suppose there’s no gym like in a hotel, and our twin beds were not made into a single but not a big issue
