The location is exquisite - watching the sunset from the terrace - the staff are friendly and helpful.
The breakfasts were 1st class.
The pods are a little warm - the fan did not optimally cool the place.

Brilliant location, give yourself time to enjoy the hotel and grounds, lovely staff, lovely views, would definitely return. Our room was upgraded due to other bookings to a different type of room.

Camps bay retreat is a place that ticks all the boxes for frequent traveller's, and consistently delivers an outstanding service. The food was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. The fact that they are located within walking distance from the beach is primarily my main reason for returning.
Highly recommend this place i.e. whether you choose one of the hotel rooms or pods, you will be spoilt for choice.

The view from the main house is really beautiful. Nice private walking area. Great staff. Didn't stay long enough for breakfast but I know I would have enjoyed it looking into the ocean.😊
The Pod I was booked in, just at the back looks like a dumping/storage site, a bit ignored. Not nicely tidied up. Doesn't help that you have to walk through it to access the back gate to the beach. One feels the wood and everything could have been nicely tucked away. Front of the pod looking into the forest is perfect, but the back a bit disappointing. Also a great gesture for one of the staff to walk you down with your luggage but having to come all the way up with it yourself, now that was a challenge.
